Don’t no why you would use DHL they lost or stolen my package and claimed they delivered it

Staff have a bad attitude in the cycle department and have very limited knowledge. I would not trust them to touch my bike.

Tyres ordered, paid for and plenty of time to get them delivered to the garage (two days). Turn up early for the 9.00 appointment and it's Sorry, your tyres haven't arrived. End up going home and waiting for a call. Six hours later phone back and still no tyres. I'm going away the next day so end up having to find another tyre company with my size in stockand it then costs me an extra £30 per tyre compared to Halfords. Wouldn't be quite so bad but this is the second time they have let me down. To be fair the guy at Halfords did his best to help but their hands are tied. Still, I've learnt my lesson now. I'll never use Halfords again and I'll sure as hell tell eveyone I know about the crap service the company supplies. Please avoid them and do yourself a massive favour.

Although this order was completed on the 10/06/26 I would like to praise Jason from the Shrewsbury Branch. I purchased a baby car seat for my grandson. Jason was very knowledgeable and fitted the car seat for me. He was also very friendly, polite and a delight to deal with.

I had a full service on my Ford Kuga 2 years ago & I have just had another full service by an independent mechanic. He showed me proof that the cabin filter & fuel filter had never been replaced as they had the original Ford parts that were dated. Do not trust Halfords to replace parts that you cannot see & go to a good independent mechanic

Very disappointing customer service from Bailey at Halfords today.

I was served by Bailey today at Halfords and, unfortunately, the level of customer service was extremely poor. I spent around £60 on engine oil and also have a membership with Halfords, which I was actually considering cancelling because of this experience.

When I asked about my membership discount, Bailey simply said that nothing was showing on the system and that there was nothing he could do. He didn’t seem interested in checking whether my phone number or email address was registered correctly, or even making an effort to find out what had gone wrong.

What disappointed me most was his attitude. It felt like he wasn’t bothered about serving a customer at all. Customers should be greeted properly and made to feel valued, not made to feel like they’re an inconvenience.

I understand that everyone can have a bad day, but customer service is a major part of working in a customer-facing role. If Bailey needs additional training, I strongly suggest Halfords provides it. If he genuinely doesn’t enjoy working with customers, perhaps management should consider whether he is in the right role.

Halfords should remember that customers have plenty of choices about where to spend their money. Experiences like this can easily make loyal customers take their business elsewhere.

I hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the issue.

I needed a part for a customer to carry on a charity cycle, Derek and Isis were very helpful in the Aberystwyth branch and helped me locate what I needed in a polite and friendly manner, thanks so much for your help, the customer was able to carry on the ride. Cheers

I took my car to have dashcam reset and a lovely bloke named KIRK fixed it for me it had been someone else’s mistake very polite would ask for him again. Thanks Kirk

Wow! Fantastic customer service yet again from Matt (and Ben) and the whole team at Halfords Ashford! Halfords provide MOT testing and mechanical support for all of our cars. They are friendly, professional and incredibly thorough in everything they do. We could not recommend them highly enough! Thank you.

I would strongly advise people to think twice before using Halfords(high wycombe) for a full service and 240-point check.

I got my friends Mercedes full service last month from Halfords auto centre High Wycombe.
After the service, He experienced serious problems with the car, including an engine warning light and the engine running/shaking badly. We both contacted Halfords to raise the concerns and explained that if there was an issue with the engine, surely this should have been identified or at least highlighted during a comprehensive 240-point inspection.

During a phone conversation, he was told that Halfords would refund me some of the money. However, after waiting around two weeks, Then he received an email saying that they could not provide a refund because the engine is not part of the full service.

This leaves me seriously questioning what exactly was checked during the “240-point check”. If a major issue can occur immediately after paying for a full service and a comprehensive vehicle inspection, what is the purpose of advertising such an extensive check?

He basically paid for a professional service and inspection to ruin his car and as customer we expected clear communication about anything potentially wrong with the vehicle. Instead, He have been left extremely disappointed and out of pocket.

Be very careful when relying on Halfords’ inspection reports. My experience has made me seriously question the value of their “240-point check”.

I would not use this branch again and, based on my experience, I would not recommend Halfords for a full service or vehicle inspection.

Booked for tyres replacement today at 11:00 (£3 extra for peak time) at Finchley central garage . They wasted my nearly 3hours just for waiting. My last 2 times was good, but it’s very frustrated this time. I have to change the plans on my day off .

Ordered tires to be fitted at home online , order placed , date organised and money taken only to receive a call the day before to say the tires are not instock . This is the second time this has happened, surely Halfords should not be advertising and selling products they can’t supply . I now have to wait 3 to 5 working days for a refund
Come on a large company must be able to do better . Won’t be using or even considering Halfords again

4 wheel alignments booked for today at Falkirk. No report provided. My daughter phoned up to ask for report they said they were very busy and weren't able to do all 4 wheels because car needs something. Fine. My question if i didnt call would they tell me and charge me full price, making me think it's all done. I then returned and they told me the computer hasnt recorded the alignment so they have to do it all over again, wasting now at least 3 hours of my time. Absolute disgrace and treatment by men, thinking they can take advantage of women who don't know about cars. AVOID AVOID AVOID !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Went to Halfords today at Sealand Road Chester. Have been a loyal customer of Halfords for many years and when Halfords Cauldy Valley closed I went across Chester to this Halfords on Sealand Rd. Always had good service and have bought many accessories for my car. Called in today to get my tyre pressures checked which I have done many times before. Only to be told ' Oh we don't do that anymore as we don't have the time !!' Well Halfords. If you don't have the time for your customers I don't have the time to drive across the other side of Chester through busy traffic to visit you and be one of your loyal customers!! Not impressed!! Will go somewhere else from now on, to somewhere that values me as a customer. !!

halfords are very rude said 2 to 3 working days delivery time took over 2 weeks phoned up customer service there was a person who i could hardly understand and she was laughing at my distress over phone i am very dissapointed and will never use your compamy again you need closing down !!!! such a bad company

I bought a battery 3 years ago with a 5 year warranty and I have had a problem with it draining power. I have been to Halfords in Barnsley this morning and they couldn't have been more helpful. Josh who I spoke to checked the battery agreed it was faulty and replaced it. All the staff were friendly and Josh was amazing gave really good customer service.

Ordered tyres on line & booked date for Halfords to fit.
Found cheaper £32 phoned & was assued they would price match & someone would call.
Never had a call, week later told the guys who were fitting they said no problem they could match so job was done.
Week later had e mail to say as the competing deal was online, but fitted locally by garage did not qualify for matching - complete con & they new it ! i shall not use Halfords ever again!!!

Very unhappy to have to give a one star review, this company should not get any stars at all.
I have spent over an hour trying to get a simple answer to a question and have been round and round in circles getting nowhere.
I spent a lot of the time on the phone to Halfords call centre in South Africa and their Sibongile Cebesha refused to answer a simple question even though I asked it 4 times.
I did get a case number 012232282, so if Halfords actually care about customer service then they can listen to that call and see how horrible they treat their customers.
There is no phone numbers or email addresses for customer complaints to Halfords, I can see why, they just do not care about how badly they treat their customers.
Worst company ever - do not use.

Halfords Walsall. Elderly parents let down and repeatedly insulted at Halfords Bescot Crescent, Walsall

My father, a pensioner, brought his bicycle into the Halfords store on Bescot Crescent, Walsall on 14th July for a repair. The bike is worth around £1,000 and he relies on it to stay active and keep healthy, so this matters to us.

We were told to come back in three weeks. When we returned today, we were repeatedly and verbally insulted by a member of staff called Andrew, whose behaviour was intimidating and completely unacceptable — especially towards two pensioners simply trying to find out when the bike would be ready. We were given a collection date of 17th August, but Andrew then told us it would "take ages," so we still have no clear answer on when we'll actually get the bike back.

Having since read other reviews of this store, it's clear we're not the only ones who've experienced rude staff and poor service here. I'd urge anyone considering using this Halfords branch for a repair to think twice. We'll be pursuing this further through Halfords' complaints process and Trading Standards if necessary
