Rob Ireland (8645) is an asset to the RAC SMR team. Rob carried out a Brake Inspection & Replacement service today after my brakes were sabotaged by the foxes! He’s an outstanding mechanic that fixed my brakes in record time and went the extra mile with a preventative solution. Rob is an exceptional communicator - before arriving, he arranged a suitable time for both of us to meet, guided me throughout the process, explained the fix during the procedure and left with great advice. If you want your motor fixed with class, Rob is the mechanic you want 100% recommend. Thanks for your help mate

fantastic gentleman
fantastic gentleman, arrived early for appointment, very helpful and polite and professional, cannot fault this service, very thorough and i received the report shortly afterwards, included a full service, and stamped my Jeep book. A huge thank you and a great advocate for the RAC.

I am so fed up with RAC
I am so fed up with RAC! My lease car was serviced by them on 5 Sept which was fine and I was happy with it BUT since then (as at 16 Oct) I have been trying to get a full service report to satisfy the requirements of my lease company. All i have received is a receipt for the service, and that is it. Without it, my lease company will fine me so its a complete waste of money. I have stressed this to RAC many many times but all i keep being told is that they are chasing it. I will now take this matter to the ombudsman and try to get the money refunded through my bank, but beware all. Their customer service is non existent and I would not recommend dispite the RAC having a big ‘trusted’ name! Appalling

Your mechanic arrived in good time, and fitted the new battery without delay. He had a pleasant manner which quickly put me at ease after the earlier stress of finding the car would not start.

Highly recommend for a car service!
Booked a full service for the first time using RAC and I highly recommend it. Super easy to book and so clear to know and understand what service out of three to go for. The mechanic was very prompt and thorough and explained everything. Extremely convenient too.

Mechanic great, RAC communications bad.
Mechanic was brilliant. Fast and efficient. Friendly and polite. The communication with RAC leaves a lot to be desired. No idea if arrival time, not even a time frame. Waited from 8am to finally arriving just after 5pm. No way of contacting anyone for more info, just a recorded message on the phone number stating any time before 5:30.

Booking was super easy through the app.
Ryan (8830) had come to our house to repair a car before, and we were super pleased to see him back! He was very helpful, knowledgeable, transparent with costs and procedures, and most importantly, very friendly!
