I had a fantastic experience on the multi winter adventure in Sweden. I’d been thinking about booking a gutsy girl holiday for a while and took the plunge. No regrets - it was a brilliantly thought out few days filled with lots of adventures, laughs and relaxing moments. Our Host, Helen, was amazing and was always checking in. Our guides were equally fantastic. The setting was perfect and the lodge didn’t disappoint - they really thought through with every little detail. I would highly recommend booking if you are looking for a few days of winter adventure and want to try out lots of different activities.

I have done two trips with Gutsy Girls and I have loved both of them. The first trip was a paddleboarding for beginners trip in Croatia and the second trip was a beginner’s ski holiday in Sweden and both trips were awesome!

The trips are extremely well organised, from the suggested flights, transfers, accommodation and food (catering for intolerances and allergies), everything is planned so you don’t have to think at all. Equally, it’s all flexible and you can opt in or out of the activities so if you are tired and need to rest, there’s no pressure and if you are full of beans, you can do extra!

All the activities are done with guides or instructors and as a beginner, you feel really well looked after. If you want to push yourself, you can and if you need a bit of extra support, that’s catered for too. There is a Gutsy Girls host who looks after us on the trip (as well as the guides/instructors in the country you’re visiting) so you are really well looked after. Nikki was our host in Sweden and she was brilliant at checking in and sorting out any food intolerances or adapting plans to suit everyone. She really made sure everyone was included and took some great videos of us skiing too!

I love, love, love learning to do new things with Gutsy Girls, the women who sign up to these holidays are from all walks of life and different ages, and there are always fascinating conversations to be had and a lot (I mean a LOT) of laughter!

It’s great value for money as the amount of activities packed in, the food (huge portion sizes too!) and accommodation, transfers etc are all dealt with and a really high standard too! Not to mention, someone else does all the planning and you just need to show up and have a good time! 100% recommend!

Outstanding trip to Granö Beckasin in Sweden with Gutsy Girls. It’s a perfect setting on a huge frozen river to try out a range of winter activities. The highlight for me was the dog -sledding, but I loved every minute. We stayed in cozy cabins and ate together in a lovely relaxed restaurant serving the best food I’ve eaten in Sweden. A massive thank you to our host Helen for transforming our adventure holiday into something very special. (On a practical note, I found it very useful to take a pair of lightweight, slip-on traction cleats to use around the village due to the ice)

I was recommended Gutsy Girls by a colleague and it was exactly the trip I needed! Great host. Lovely guests. Amazing activities. Very well thought out, so nice to have everything planned for you. Never been to Sweden before but absolutely loved it. The multi-activity adventure was just the ticket for variety, fun, culture & having lots to talk about with the people who started as strangers and ended the trip as friends. Dog sledding, snowmobiling, snowshoe hikes, cross country skiing & the northern lights - dream adventure. Food was divine throughout and the Swedish people were so friendly and welcoming. Thank you to our host, Helen, your kind nature was much appreciated.

I have just returned from my 2nd Gutsy Girl trip and it was everything I had hoped for and so much more.
A wonderful snowshoeing trip to the Dolomites which was new for 2026.
Everything was so well organised, a different hike every day with the most amazing views and expertly led by the wonderful guide Davide.
Bea was our gutsy girls host and is so knowledgeable & great fun & looked after us so well ❤️
The hotel is a great little find, family run with friendly staff and the most delicious food and so much of it. I don’t think I have ever eaten so well!
I went on this trip in need of a reset and have come back feeling so happy and refreshed. Definitely recommend this one.

Amazing cross country ski trip in Norway. Really well organised, excellent host Alice, everything went smoothly and loads of fun new activities. Highly recommend.

Went ski touring in Sweden and the trip was absolutely amazing. Dom, the hotel staff and our mountain guides were all amazing. I had a cold and they were so accommodating and helpful. The trip itself was amazing, beautiful views, lovely hotel and the most amazing group of women. Definitely recommend!

This was my first Gutsy Girls holiday, beginners skate skiing in Sweden (with some snow shoeing and ice dipping thrown in!). It was a fantastic experience. Everyone in the group was like minded, encouraging and generally lovely. Marylou our host was amazing! So kind and supportive.
The accommodation and staff were so helpful and very Scandi calm and relaxed!
For anybody wondering whether to book, don’t hesitate. I will definitely doing more Gutsy in future.

I've recently got back from my sixth GG holiday and can comfortably say there will be a seventh. The company is excellent: communicative, supportive and professional. The trips themselves have been amazing experiences, always with a friendly helpful host and the group of women are always so inspirational and supportive. I always recommend GG to those I talk to. Cant wait for the next one.

Fabulous host, lovely hotel with amazing views, food, staff, facilities. Excellent skate skiing tuition from two guides. Great ski tours, ice bathing, sauna, snowcat trip to a mountain restaurant. There is a concept 2 rower and 2 erg bikes next to the swimming pool. Fantastic ski area. Our rooms included a fridge, glasses, kettle and cutlery. Very good transfers. Of note - baggage unloading from DAT flight on return trip to Oslo can be VERY slow. Had to run to the gate for the BA flight to LHR at 15.05. This is my 3rd Gutsy Girls trip. It will not be my last.

I was a bit unsure if this kind of holiday would suit me, as I quite enjoy a quiet alone-time. At the same time I really wanted to develop my skate ski abilities.
The Skate skiing 7n holiday in Sweden was incredible!
The program perfectly balanced activity and recovery. The host adds an extra dimention of the holiday and faciliteted a great group dynamics. The host and the guides were flexible and ensured that everybody could enjoy themselves.

The food was amazing, and the staff in Bruksvallsliden so friendly and helpful!
The skate holiday is perfect for those with some skiing experience - be prepared that it is demanding and a good cardio fitness will make the holiday more fun!

I took the opportunity whilst in Scandinavia to journey via local trains from Sweden to Norway to join my 2nd GG trip. Stavanger Winter Kayak, Snowshoe and hiking. This was a great trip and I learnt more new skills. The accomodation was cosy and comfortable with lovely meals cooked for us. We stayed in a beautiful location on the fjord which meant we could kayak straight from there plus we had a sauna and area to swim/dip then dash back to the sauna. Nordic Paddling (Rasmus and Sebastian) who were our hosts and guides are lovely guys and took great care of us and shared their vast knowledge of the areas we visited. Snowshoeing on fresh thick snow was magical. Kayaking in heavy snow which then cleared was amazing and so beautiful. The hike up to Pulpit Rock is an absolute must. Tough going with the ice at times but Rasmus took great care of us and was very supportive to enable us all to achieve. Great group dynamic on this trip yet again.

My first Gutsy girl trip and I really enjoyed the trip. I picked XC skiing in Norway at a cozy hotel with great food. I will join again next year.

So glad I joined the Norway Kayak, hike and snowshoe trip. Excellent experience from start to finish. A gorgeous cabin on the edge of the fjord, our guide, Seb @nordic paddling was patient and spot on with making fires for us, great food and tours. Our GG Rosy was amazing, really friendly and helped to create a great atmosphere and experience. Don't hesitate, just book it.

I did the Iceland Multiday trip and it was absolutely incredible. Its an expensive trip- but I think this is a really fair proce concidering the activities on offer and where we were.
The lodge we stayed in was absolutepy amazing- it was so cool to be in a part of Iceland that felt like it hadn't been explored. Learning to cross country ski here was filled with amazing views and a lot of laughter! Being able to relax in the thermal pool afterwards was an absolute treat.
Olafs food was absolutely incredible- especially the lava cake, so you'll never go hungry. She was very organised which made you feel very relaxed too.
Seeing the Icelandic horses was an absolute dream, it was so magical to ride them through the snow. The overalls provided helped us stay nice and toasty too.
The forest lagoon and whale watching was another massive treat at the end of a busy few days too.
Out Gutsy Girls host Rae was absolutely fantastic at making sure everyone was supported, happy, and really brought the group together. The really nice thing with this particular trip was that most people had to fly from London. Rae helped everyone meet up at the airport first which meant we could all get to know each other from the get go!
This trip helped me do activities I enjiy while meeting such a supportive group of women from all walks of life.

Second GG adventure and another fab trip, this time in Iceland. Varied itinerary in this spectacular place - it felt well thought out and gave me a chance to see a part of the country that I probably wouldn't have otherwise have visited. The other ladies on this trip, including our host Fliss, were brilliant - up for adventure and fun whilst being supportive of the group. Highly recommended.

Had a fab trip to Norway, great location, very lovely host Katarina, super food and a really great bunch to learn XC skiing with and had loads of laughs and a bundle of fun. If you are wondering about Gutsy Girls - book it !!! Thoroughly recommend.

If you’re hesitating - just do it. Just returned from the most wonderful experience in Norway. The highlights:
* friendly family hotel with the best food I’ve ever had on a holiday. Exceptional
* wonderful host who managed to keep us under control yet was one of us.
* great instructors who helped everyone to achieve their potential - and more.
* quality, well-maintained equipment.
* a small group of like minded girls ranging from 20s to 60s who gelled like we’d been friends forever.
* a superb business model that seriously over achieves on its goals.
* excellent value - I’m ready to book my next GG trip.

Footnote: a girl we’d never met before ran up to us in Oslo airport on our way home and said excitedly “you’re gutsy girls! I’m one too!” That kind of says it all really.

I’ve just spent three days out and about in Forsand / Lysefjord in Norway. Met up with our Gutsy Girls host, Rosy, at the airport and started my adventure. This was my first time on an all girls adventure break and I was a little apprehensive. I had no need. I was with a great bunch of girls of varying ages (I’m no spring chicken), all of whom were there to have a good time. Sebastian was our guide and chef and did a fantastic job. I kayaked and snowshoed for the first time, all the gear provided, it was an amazing experience. Accommodation was warm and cozy, I especially enjoyed the sauna after a dip in the fjord. The home cooked food was delicious and plentiful and great care was taken with food intolerances and allergies. The biggest decision now is ‘which trip next’… there are so many to chose from.
