My husband and I had such a wonderful adventure up Cotopaxi! The guides were great and knowledgeable. This is the type of trip that is perfect for those who want to be outdoors without having to worry about logistics. The food was delicious and the lodging was always comfortable.
If you are someone who gets cold easily I'd encourage you to bring layer options. Since it is hard to know the conditions on top of Cotopaxi much in advance and your big duffle is transported for you it's worth it to bring a variety of options. Bring a heavier down jacket than you think you might need. The top is chilly especially if you arrive just before sunrise. I would also bring toe warmers if I did it again as I think it would have helped me stay on the summit longer.
Bring shorts and maybe even sandals for your day in Quito as it can get quite warm. And if you are used to hiking in trail runners those are sufficient for all the hikes except the summit (when you need the mountaineering boots).

My Annapurna trip was nothing short of extraordinary.
Our leader, Pujan, was absolutely incredible — his deep knowledge of Nepalese culture and the mountains far surpassed all my expectations. Every day felt richer because of the stories, insights, and care he shared with us.
The entire support team were exceptional. Ananta kept a steady, comfortable pace throughout the trek and looked after me with such attention that I always felt safe and supported. Chiring made sure we were constantly fuelled with drinks and food; she was incredibly attentive, competent, and genuinely delightful to be around.
I was in awe of the strength and stamina of the porters — Raju, Bal, Sujan, Deepak, and Mohan. Carrying our bags up steep inclines and still arrive before us at every teahouse was humbling. Their hard work made the journey possible, and I’m deeply grateful for everything they did.
One of the absolute highlights, beyond the breath taking scenery, was our final night together. The dancing, the music, the shared meal — celebrating with the whole support team and my fellow travellers was truly magical. Sharing their joy, traditions, and energy created a moment I will treasure forever. It left me with a glow of pure happiness that I’ll never forget.
This adventure was mind blowing in every sense, and I am forever grateful to the wonderful people who made it so special.

You feel completely cared for (for me by no less than three different representatives who kept in contact and answered any questions or concerns that I had - which is amazing). The trips MBA offer are second to none and I would never hesitate to recommend them to anyone who are looking for amazing, social adventure trips.

Just booked my 3rd trip with MBA. They’re a great company, very organised and responsive to any questions. Information on each trip is very informative

The 10 day adventure through Wild Taiwan was honestly one of the best things I have ever experienced. From mountains to beaches, canyons to rice fields, if you love the outdoors and you want an adventure this tour has everything. Particular highlights are the river tracing and the unique cultural experiences learning about the Indigenous people in Taiwan. 10/10 would recommend and Yessika is wonderful and very knowledgeable.

Have booked a holiday to Norway which I’m really looking forward to. The customer service agents were really helpful in advising me and answering all my questions. I love the amount of adventurous trips MBA offer.

My trip to Finland was well curated and thought through, the guides were excellent and gave us a full experience in spite of the fact we were only there a few days. We even managed to see the Northern Lights. Would reccommend.

Much Better Adventures has been great to work with for booking our Machu Picchu/Choquiquero trek. Rachel and the other staff were very friendly, always prompt on her replies to our emails and always had answers to our questions. Made the booking process very easy.

This was a fabulous trip, it was well planned, Anton and Ray our guides were fun, the transport, food, lodgings and saunas were all great…. BUT the SNOW part of the trip was severely lacking. And that’s what I went for - white, beautiful, snow covered land and snow based activities. Unfortunately, kick-sledding was not much fun as the snow wasn’t really up to the job, snow shoeing was about 5 minutes on snow and the rest of the session was hiking through a very beautiful but boggy forest carrying cumbersome snow shoes and fat biking was hard work on a tarmac path along a main road. 
I did read MBA reviews complaining about low snow levels on this trip, but trusted that my trip was later in the year when there was no chance the snow would have 95% melted. I appreciate that the weather was warmer than everyone expected, but it was most disappointing.

I was struggling to navigate all the offerings on this site and used what's app to ask for help. I got a quick reply and a bespoke link to a range of holidays for the dates I had available. It was really good , responsive, friendly and ultimately helpful customer service.

I’ve booked with MBA a number of times. Great company, great adventures, like minded explores. I’m looking at another trip for later this year. Shout out to Lucy at MBA who has been super helpful with information today.

Unfortunately the trip to Jordan was cancelled. However MBA refunded with minimal fuss and were a pleasure to deal with. We will definitely be rebooking when the war is over. British Airways were a nightmare to deal with and won’t be using them again.
