The trip info was concise and correct, but.....
The trip info was concise and correct. I was happy with most aspects of the trip. The (Hotel Graphik) in Paris was the low point of our trip (don't always trust the photo's). Rooms were VERY small (We have travelled in Europe before and are aware of the room sizes). We would do this type of trip again, but would check out hotel options a little better.

Solo travel
I expected to be with a group of solo travelers but was pleasantly surprised to find myself solo! Santi was an excellent driver. Kawi was a wonderful tour guide.
The all inclusive experience was very helpful. I wouldn’t have known how to get around as easily without them. Learning the history of the country and culture was what I wanted and that was accomplished. The price and process for booking was easy.

Worst vacation booking experience EVER!
Flight was cancelled within hours of departure, No ONE from your company was available to assist! $800 later, we were finally able to rebook our own flight at our expense. The airline refused v to refund US because wed paid for our flight through you. So, YOU were reimbursed presumably for our flight. After getting in touch via messaging with our issues, we were told you would get back to us in 7 to 10 days!!! Due to our change of flight, our ride to our hotel was an issue too! On our return trip, flight changed 8+ times, again, no help from you regarding any part of this vacation booked by y ok u. We still have yet to hear from you!

This is our 3rd GVV vacation
This is our 3rd GVV vacation. We love that everything is included and that we get to stay in unique hotels that give us a flavor for the country. We also love that we can take the suggested itenerary or create our own. This latest trip was to Ireland. We really enjoyed the diversity of the cities offered and the activities. We've had very few issues on any of our trips. I recommend GVV to everyone!

Well-planned and no commision-driven shopping stops
Customer service was excellent, and our tour group had only 22 people. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable, and our driver got us safely from stop to stop through various weather conditions. I also greatly appreciated that the tour did not include commission-driven/forced-shopping stops, like Gate 1 Travel and Affordable Asia tours.

Very disappointed in the bus station…
Very disappointed in the bus station drop off and pick up to and from hotel. Had to walk through ice and snow. It wasn’t an actual hotel transport. The hotel was good and gave an early check in. I would have preferred a hotel with breakfast included like in the past. Breakfast was $38.00 if you were to have it.

Be prepared for mistakes
I liked the package price. However, Trip details for the flight was messed up with extra digit on passport and thus my passport did not match the flight details and I was detained, missed flight and personnel from the company took 3 days to respond to my emergency phone call. Messages received from agent with instructions to call back was frustrating because a new person would answer the call back, the person who left the message could not be found and I had to repeat all information yet again for the third time. Made me wonder if calls are recived in random order and personal follow up on situations do not occur.

Our third trip booked with GVV. This time was Italy. The trip was fantastic, overall. The only downside was the hotel in Rome. Not a great stay there. The trip was a four. Could've been a five if we had a better hotel.

Travel details were detailed, accurate, and easy to understand
Great ease of transitioning and checking into each hotel, prompt and informative drivers, travel details were easily understood and travel modes - train and car rental were completely accurate. The only exception was that the flights did not offer enough time ( especially in Paris) to connect to another flight - we had to run several times!

Wonderful vacation, wonderful hotels, convenient and easy to manage trains - it was a seamless experience. My only suggestion is for anyone interested to look into booking extra days - we wished we had a lot more time in Budapest and Prague!

Car was great. First hotel super and breakfasts were yummy. Airline connections terrible. Cost us more money. Iceland air must've overbooked and terrible service so we had to go Air France. Great flight but missed connection. Very difficukt v and cost is extra $600 and a night of sleep.
