Absolute nightmare. They cancelled my stay without telling me, and I only found out when I showed up at the hotel. Thankfully the Hilton was good about it and managed to get a room for decent price.

After writing them it took about a week for me to get my refund. Since I had booked a month prior, the currency exchange rate had shifted and I lost about 10% of the money I spent. Currency exchange is not their fault BUT the slow processing is.

I am extremely disappointed. This cost me time and money and could have been a huge problem if I didn’t get lucky in other ways.

Avoid this company.

I received the cancelation notice and refund only after I complained.

I recently tried to book a room through GoSplitty, and that evening I found charges on my card for 3 separate bookings for over $900 plus tax! They charged my card a total of $3000, and when I called to dispute the charges they kept deferring me to another department. Nobody speaks English, nor cares about the mistakes they make. I got emails saying I would receive a call shortly to settle the matter, but nothing. I never authorized the charges and had to file a dispute with my bank. STAY FAR AWAY!!!

I've made a reservation through Traveluro (same as GoSplitty and Holisto) and did not receive any confiramtion with the Hotel Reservation number.
I've contacted the Hotel and they said there is no reservation with my name !
I've contacted Traveluro several times by email to request this hotel reservation number or a refund and they never replied to my email !
I feel I've been scamed and do not recommend this platform!

I stayed at Embassy Suites by Hilton Tampa Downtown Convention Center on Aug 17th. I seared my hotel discounts and Go Splitty came up with a better rate for my one night stay. I asked the rep over the phone was this the only rate I will be charged and was told yes so I paid in advance for $164.99. When I checked out the next day on the 18th i didn’t pay attention to my invoice cause the bill showed zero balance well at least that is what I thought. It was really early that morning at 5am cause I had to catch my flight at 6:30am. The next day I called Go Splitty and they took my concerned and told me someone would reach out within 24hrs. Well they did but I was told they couldn’t credit my account cause either I already left the hotel and they can’t credit a hotel charge beyond what I already paid. I called the hotel and they said third party companies don’t tell their customers there might be an additional charge outside what was paid to them. At this point I mad cause I clearly asked the rep at Go Splitty if I would be charged anything at the hotel and was told no. I would like get my credit of $28.34 for hotel destination charge that I was not aware of otherwise I would have just booked on the hotel website. My trip number is 9017115.

I booked my stay in Bournemouth about 4 weeks previous, and luckily for me I never read the reviews before hand because there was so many bad reviews about gosplitty. and after I booked I then read the reviews, so thinking I may of been scammed I phoned the holiday inn immediately, they confirmed my booking and gave me a confirmation number. so I'd like to say a big thank you to gosplitty for saving me a bag full of money 💰

When I arrived at the room there was an extra fee of almost $80 that was not mentioned when I booked the room. Part of the fee was for booking through a 3rd party and part was for things in the room such as 2 bottles of water and coffee.
It would have been less expensive to contact the hotel directly to book.

I recently booked a hotel through GoSplitty, but when I arrived for check-in, I was denied my stay due to the hotel’s policy against local guests, citing previous incidents of property damage. As a result, my stay was immediately canceled, and I was given a confirmation number to expedite the refund process with GoSplitty.

It’s now been a week, and despite numerous follow-ups, GoSplitty has done nothing but forward my request to their refund department and mark it as “urgent.” I’ve received no emails or calls regarding my refund. This company is a scam, lacking proper management or accountability. They should be avoided at all costs. I’ll be filing a police report to address this matter further.

I booked two rooms for four nights on Reunion Island, only to discover upon arrival that my reservation was made under a rate I didn’t qualify for.

GoShitty had booked a cheaper “honeymoon package” without informing me. This resulted in an additional charge of €33 per room per night payable directly to the hotel.

Despite emailing GoShitty, I have yet to receive a response. Consider this a warning to avoid similar issues.

We booked a last minute one-night stay at a hotel near an airport because we had a very early morning flight. The hotel was poorly rated, and those reviews were not wholly undeserved (carpets very stained) but the room was fine, the staff was great. Served the purpose we needed it to. I called the hotel company after making the reservation to ensure that it existed, and was able to get their confirmation number.

I booked a hotel and wanted to change my reservation later. I wrote many mails to their customer care but, never got a reply. Their customer care number does not work. There is basically no existence of their operations. I wouldn’t ever recommend using this website again. Worst experience ever!

What a bad experience. I booked via phone a room at the Halifax airport hotel on Wednesday for today. I payed and got a confirmation mail. Today I woke up with an email that the couldn’t book the hotel room, which already was confirmed. I am flying out of Halifax with a 1 year old and a 3 year old. We are traveling with no car and by bus. Go Splitty suggested a hotel room 42 minutes away. No shuttle to the airport and most taxis do not provide car seats. Not an option.

One phone call to the Hilton directly and the room was reserved for tonight.

Traveling with two little ones made me already nervous. Having no room all the sudden didn’t help.

This company is a Scam, I was making a booking for a hotel in London, after making the payment, got a message OPPS! SOMETHING WENT WRONG, so i made the payment again, thinking the payment had not gone through, but the company made 2 booking for the same hotel and was charged twice, sent 10 e-mails to the company did not have the courtesy to even reply to 1,

Avoid this company, never ever use them

J'ai réservé une chambre à l'hôtel Ramada à Trenton, Ontario pour le 3 août. Arrivée sur place, j'ai eu la mauvaise surprise de constater qu'aucune chambre n'avait été réservée à mon nom malgré une confirmation et un reçu. J'ai dû payer pour une nouvelle chambre alors que Gosplitty m'avait déjà facturé pour la chambre réservée. Je leur ai écrit, j'attends des nouvelles.

This place is a scam when you call they tell you want you want to hear. They ask for your information put you on hold transfer you to their escalation department and get told you'll recieve a email and don't. I asked to speak to a manager and come to find out there is no managers to speak with. ALL THEY DO IS SEND YOU FOR A RUN AROUND

We paid for a last minute stay in a hotel in Golden BC using this apps on July 18th. The hotel stuff refused to accept our reservation upon checking in and sent us away saying they don't know who is this company. Their reservation system did not have our reservation. So we had to leave and filed a refund request to this company after our trip. They refused to refund our money. So we had to file the dispute with Visa. You are thinking this kind of invalid charge should be refunded easily and smoothly.. No.. not with this company. Don't book anything from this company. They will not look after your interest.. Only here to scam people's money.

Épouvantable ma carte passait pas sur internet donc j'ai appeler ont ma fait comme réponse trop de tentative probablement ok je donne le numéro de mon autre carte en plus il m'accorde un 20$ de plus en rabais j'obtient mon reçu 275.00$ voici l'arnaque j'ai été facturé en américain 390.80$ méchant crosseur il se défende que c'est un site américain je réserve une chambre pour Ottawa et je demeure à Québec et rien n'est indiquer sur leur site aucune loi nous protège vive le Québec mais je en réserve une j'ai un amis qui est en journaliste il vont avoir une belle annonce je vous le promets mais s.v.p faite aucunement affaire avec c'est bandit.

Hatte über GOsplitty ein Wochende zu einem fantastischen Preis in einem wunderschönen Hotel gebucht und wisst ihr was?

I had a highly disappointing experience with GoSplitty and want to warn others about their services.

I booked a 3-night stay at the Hilton in Boston, but due to significant problems with my room, the Hilton refunded one night directly to GoSplitty. Despite this, GoSplitty never issued the refund to me. Attempts to contact their customer service were futile, as their support number is inaccessible from Canada, and they did not respond to my emails.

In the end, I had to dispute the charge through my credit card company, and shockingly, GoSplitty fought the dispute and even charged me again.

Avoid GoSplitty, especially if you are in Canada. Their customer service is unresponsive, and they failed to process a legitimate refund. I would not trust them no matter where you live.
