Wir haben eine Hotelbuchung über 2000€ gemacht, sie wurde prompt bestätigt aber im Hotel ist nie eine Buchung angekommen.

Mi experiencia con Splitty…reserva aquí y tendrás una lección

Mi experiencia con Splitty (gosplitty.com) ha sido absolutamente desastrosa y una completa estafa.
Hice una reserva y, tras el pago, jamás recibí un correo electrónico de confirmación, ni en mi bandeja de entrada ni en spam. Inmediatamente, intenté contactar al servicio de soporte o servicio técnico de Splitty, pero fue imposible. No responden a los correos electrónicos, y las llamadas son inútiles. Intenté verificar mi supuesta reserva directamente en la página web de Splitty.com usando mis datos y el número de referencia que tenía, pero solo aparece un cartel frustrante y revelador que dice: "Lo sentimos, no hemos encontrado su reserva". Como último recurso contacte al hotel, le proporcione los datos y me llevé la peor sorpresa: el hotel me confirmó que no tenían NINGUNA reserva a mi nombre ni a nombre de la agencia. Había pagado por algo que no existía.

Don't book with them! Deceptive practice...

I strongly advise never booking with Splitty (GoSplitty / Holisto Inc.).

I booked a hotel reservation through Splitty for an event in Chicago. The event was later cancelled, and the hotel (Hyatt Regency O’Hare) confirmed in writing that:

They never received any payment from Splitty

My reservation was cancelled with zero penalty

No refund was issued because no funds were ever collected

This means Splitty kept 100% of my payment, even though they:

never paid the hotel

did not provide the room

incurred no cost at all

When I contacted Splitty for a refund, they repeatedly hid behind a “non-refundable policy,” even though that policy does NOT apply when the event is cancelled and the hotel charges nothing. Splitty also made statements that contradict what the hotel confirmed directly to me.

I had to file disputes with American Express and complaints with the Attorney General just to try to get my own money back — money Splitty had no right to keep.

This company practices unfair, misleading, and unethical business behavior.
If your event is cancelled or something goes wrong, they will not help you — even when they themselves did not pay the hotel.

Save yourself the stress, time, and money.
Do NOT book with Splitty.

Non-existent customer service

Non-existent customer service; the phone is answered by a bot that opens a ticket they never respond to. Highly discouraged.

December 6, 2025: They responded to me after more than four days (4 days and 9 hours to be exact) without even reading my ticket, an automatic response. I reiterate my advice not to trust this company.

I paid them - they never paid the hotel

My brother was coming to town so I offered to make reservations for him using my credit card. Gosplitty charged my card for the reservation but never paid the hotel. My brother paid the hotel again. We tried to call customer service but you can't get through - they have you leave a message and don't call back. My credit card company wouldn't give me a credit because GoSplitty claimed I didn't cancel according to their terms.

I'm calling hotels directly from now on,

I REPEAT!DO NOT BOOK with GoSplitty! They will take your money and leave you stranded.
When we arrived at our hotel, the staff told us they had never received any booking or payment from GoSplitty – despite the company claiming otherwise. We sent them 37 emails and called them 55 times (which resulted in huge phone charges). Every time, they just said “rest assured, we’ll sort this out,” but nothing was ever resolved.
We spent 20 hours trying to fix this nightmare while on our trip. The stress and frustration were unbearable.
This company and from our experience, they are dishonest. They will lie and say payment has been made when it hasn’t.
Always call your hotel directly to confirm if payment has actually been received before you travel.
This company’s behavior is disgusting and unethical. They are scamming people, taking hard-earned money, and causing unnecessary stress and headaches.
Save yourself the trouble – STAY AWAY from GoSplitty!

Comme la plupart des avis postés à propos de cette soit disant plateforme, il s’agit d’une escroquerie bien organisée et comme il ne semble pas exister de service clients…les sommes payées sont perdues car la prestation n’existe pas. Fuyez et partagez autour de vous.

Beware. STAY AWAY

Beware. They advertised a room as a double bed room, and tried to tell me that it was supposed to be a double occupancy room with one bed - that was a lie. Stay away! Terrible horrible customer service.

SPLITTY IS A SCAM

I called Travelocity to extend a stay 1 nite and without advising me they booted me to Splitty. They booked and charged me for 2 nites and sent me a confirmation showing only 1 nite. When I arrived at resort they confirmed I was charged for 2 and neither Travelocity, Splitty, or even my Capital One card would issue a refund. I cut up my card and although Ive usef Travelocity successfully in the past, this was the last time. Splitty is a thieving SCAM! AVOID AND BEWARE!

Please do not use this company

Please do not use this company. I booked a hotel room, and our travel company changed the date by a week. We asked to change the date, not receive a refund and they refused 3 times. The hotel was willing to change the date and tried with no luck (gosplitty controlled the date change).

Avoid this company

I booked a hotel through Splitty and specified that I needed a business invoice. When I called, I was told to request this at the hotel counter. However, as a European traveler staying in the U.S., I should not be charged local tax due to tax exemption rules (tax redemption).

Despite this, I was charged around $50 in taxes. The hotel advised that Splitty was responsible, as they processed the payment. I have repeatedly tried to contact Splitty by phone and email, but have received no response.
At this point, I am very disappointed with the lack of support and transparency. I strongly advise others to be cautious when booking through this company.
I will update this review if my issue is resolved.

Avoid - it’s a scam

We booked through gosplitty.com 5 hotel nights in Mindelo, Cabo Verde. One week before flying there, splitty sent a message saying “we’re sorry, the hotel cancelled the reservation, there’s nothing we can do”. We found alternative accommodation. When there, we went to the same hotel and they told us they never work with splitty and they never got a reservation in our name. But at least splitty refunded the money we had paid.
We had also booked another night at the same hotel one week later, again with splitty. This reservation was non existent at the hotel, we complained to splitty, but never got our money back. This website is so bad they should be put out of business through legal action.

Extremely Poor Customer Service – No Resolution After Repeated Complaints

I booked a stay at the Crowne Plaza London Ealing through GoSplitty. During my stay, I experienced serious issues, including a completely non-functional shower for three days and dangerously hot water, which resulted in a minor burn injury. I contacted both the hotel and IHG multiple times (seven emails and phone calls) but received no meaningful response or solution.

Despite providing photo and video evidence and escalating the issue immediately, neither GoSplitty nor the hotel took responsibility. GoSplitty initially offered a mere £20 as compensation, which was already inadequate under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 – but they later withdrew even that without resolving the matter.

As a booking platform, GoSplitty failed to ensure that the accommodation met even the most basic standards of habitability and safety. Their lack of response, failure to follow up, and overall mishandling of this matter have been extremely disappointing and unprofessional.

I would strongly advise others to avoid using GoSplitty if you expect any form of customer service or accountability when things go wrong. I am now escalating the matter to the relevant consumer protection bodies in the UK.

Booked a nights stay, NO GOOD.

Booked a nights stay in San Antonio and received a credit card message that said I was charged for two nights stay at same hotel for same night by Go Splitty. Called them immediately and they said it was unrefundable even though it was not my fault. To make matters worse when I go to check in, both “unrefundable” rooms were canceled on me so I had to pay a third night. NEVER USE GO SPLITTY
