Awful and Shady
Awful and Shady! No stars! I’m a Canadian and Booked with Algotel for two days, good and called them back within 20 minutes to add another day, they connected me to Splitty, without telling me they were a different company but owned by Algotel, and charged me in US funds for extra day. They did not tell me the charge was in US funds, I complained to Splitty and Algotel, and they ignored me saying my room was non refundable. I had added a room stay cancellation policy and was told still my room was not refundable.

I got to the hotel and GoSplitty had emailed them and cancelled the booking for no reason. I got no email and no refund so had no idea there was anything wrong until i turned up at the hotel. Spent over 2 hours when I got to the hotel on the phone to get it sorted. It was their mistake, so they sorted it, but it took hours! Do not recommend!

I had a very bad experience with Go Splitty,
Booked a hotel, immediately realised the dates had been entered wrong.
To contact you have to phone a very expensive premium rate number and they repeat questions before changing department to drag out the call. They then don't give any conclusive result.
Later they emailed saying they might be able to get a refund but you have to PAY a fee for them to try and get a refund. Having read all the bad reports on this company there is absolutely no way I'm going to do this. Time to cut my losses and warn others. Thankfully it was only a cheap overnight stay, could've been disastrous if a whole expensive holiday was booked with them
Book somewhere else

Do not go with Go Splitty
I booked a reservation at the Arden Hotel in Birmingham UK for a mate and I with this company as it seemed great value. Boy was I wrong. I booked for a twin room with them for me and a friend, I checked along the way to make sure it was a Twin Room. When I had paid and got a confirmation I checked and it said a double bed. I contacted the hotel themselves and they said they never heard of go splitty (there was my first insight, to how bad this company must bed) however they had my reservation. They told me they couldn't change to a twin room as 1 it would be changed back to a double due to not booking it with them, but 2 because they had no more twin rooms available, which explains why Go splitty put me into a double. I checked online for their number which stated it was free to call so I called them. Go splitty weren't helpful and told me they'd call me back. I asked to email me instead. This phone call cost me £43 due to it being a US phone call, though it stated free. I emailed asking them to no longer call but to email me which they didn't (which is why it got upto £43). They eventually got the hint and emailed me and told me they'd try to change the superior double room into just a standard twin room (which would cost less). I asked to changed into a superior twin which was the same cost as a double. They said they'd see what they could do. Eventually they got back to me and said they weren't able to. I called arden and explained the situation and they said they'd add another bed but for an additional £25. Due to me not even being able to cancel my request anyway, I had to accept otherwise it'd cost me more money for a different room. I explained this to go splitty and they said they will cancel the order but won't get a refund. I had to explain that I didn't want a refund for the order but for the cost of phone calls and the extra bed. I still have yet to receive an email or refund about this.
Do not use go splitty, just go through booking.com or directly with the hotel.
This has cost me a further £68 on a room that should only be £88, due to GO splittys error. They've not apologised or even offered anything as a good will gesture. I'm extremely annoyed and now, an extra £68 out of pocket.
This Company is a complete SCAM
This Company is a complete SCAM! I literally just booked my reservation and was sent a confirmation form Splitty, but something told me to call the actual hotel and they are not able to find my reservation. When calling there customer service I was told they would email me for a concern that is urgent. I am calling my bank and letting them know this is a fraudulent transaction and I have been bamboozled.
Took money without booking a hotel
Do not use this site—they have fraudulently taken my money without booking a hotel. I have sent them six emails and have only received automated responses. My bank is attempting to recover the money, but they are blocking this as well. They took my money on December 6, 2024, and now, on February 18, 2025, I still have not received a refund. Return my money! I am asking this company—why on earth are you doing this?
Go Splitty has the worst customer service!
Working with Go Splitty to change our hotel reservation was the worst experience I've ever had traveling. Their customer service was not helpful at all and each time I called in they said they would call me back with a solution and they did not call me back one single time. Instead, they would send an email with no resolution or help. After spending hours on the phone trying to get some help I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told that is not an option. My husband and I ended up having to work with the hotel ourselves. Luckily, the hotel was awesome and had amazing customer service. The hotel solved our problem in under 5 minutes when Go Splitty gave us the run around for almost two days. Do not use Go Splitty; it will waste hours of your vacation.

If you are planning to visit the Orlando area to explore Disney or other parks, it is advisable to exercise caution when considering the Maingate Lake Resort in Kissimmee, FL, as there have been reports suggesting potentially misleading advertising and subpar facilities. Additionally, it is essential to confirm the resort fee that will be charged separately, as verifying this fee may be beneficial in potentially leading to a refund due to a breach of contract, of which the establishment may be aware. Furthermore, it is recommended to approach with caution when utilizing goSplitty.com for making travel reservations. They sell you a non-refundable reservation, paid in full up front, with a notification that upon check-in, you will pay a resort fee of 48.00 dollars. However, when you check in, the clerk states that the resort fee is 104.00 dollars. You may spend the next 4 hours with their support department, with only 2 disconnects, and numerous apologies, but no resolution. It is strongly advised to avoid using them for making travel reservations. Here are a few photographs that were taken showing the current state of the resort. I am currently staying here for 4 days on a non-refundable reservation. Please share this with your friends and family so they do not have to deal with this during future travels here.

What a scam!!! Dont not use this company. I got to the hotel I booked via gosplitty to find the hotel was over booked. No one informed me of this intill I got there after a long drive! Had to book alternative accommodation and still haven't had a refund!!! Dont not use at all costs

Booked a hotel in Madeira for 17th January to 24th January. A little concerned after reading reviews but checked in and got the Half Board and sea view room which I booked with no issues whatsoever.

Despite agreeing to provide a refund in writing they then backtracked and said they weren't going to even though I'd got the hotel to agree to refund charges. Now in chargeback battle.

When I arrived at my hotel in Montreal, Canada, the desk attendant could not locate my reservation. After 25 minutes of searching, they discovered that my reservation had been canceled. I tried calling their office for assistance, but no one answered. As a result, I had no choice but to book and pay for another room. I strongly advise against using their services!
Horrible Experience - Booking Cancelled Without Notice
Upon arrival at the hotel, we were informed that there was no reservation under our name. Gosplitty had apparently cancelled our booking without any prior notification. This left us stranded and scrambling to find alternative accommodation at the last minute.
We were forced to pay double the original price to secure a room for the night, causing significant financial and emotional distress.
Gosplitty's lack of communication and customer service is unacceptable. I demand a full refund for the original booking and compensation for the additional expenses incurred due to their negligence.
I strongly advise against using Gosplitty for any travel bookings. Their incompetence and disregard for customer satisfaction are evident.

Like many others here, I was initially skeptical about the claim that the hotel price they quoted was 56% lower than anywhere else. However, I can confidently say everything went smoothly, and I had no issues.
For those who have experienced problems, here’s my advice:
1. Double-check your booking details before making any payment and carefully read all the terms and conditions.
2. Avoid making changes to your booking unless absolutely necessary, as that’s often when issues arise.
3. After booking, email the hotel within 48 hours to confirm the reservation—I did this, and it worked perfectly.
