No 24x7 claim support

No 24x7 claim support. I waited 4 days to claim and that also online as the claim department was not working in holidays. GiG Garage partners in Abu Dhabi not doing good work and not professionals. For a simple front bumper change they need more than 3 weeks.

GIG gulf is the worst company to deal…

GIG gulf is the worst company to deal with when it comes to customer service or any sort of follow up when you have had a car accident.
Even when you report a claim there is not much point.
Stay far away from this company as you should not trust them for any service!!

Avoid this provider

Avoid this provider. Insurance quotes are excessive and major hospitals are excluded. The level of support is only there when you sign up for their services, and the fees quotes are excessive. Avoid and search for better services with other providers.

Worst insurance ever

I have crohns disease and rumatoid arthriturs. I have pain in my abdomen which the doctor believes is bike duct related. GIG refused an MRI as zi had a separate MRI for my arthritus. They are 2 different things. GIG is worst insurance ever. Standard Life was much better@! AVOID.

Axa Gig Health Insurance in Dubai - Extremely Disappointing Experience

I am deeply disappointed with Axa Gig Health Insurance in Dubai. As a 44-year-old woman, I expected a basic reliable coverage for my medical needs. Instead, my experience has been a nightmare.
Rejected Tests and Lack of Diagnosis - When I saw a dermatologist about skin issues and hair loss, the doctor requested blood tests to check for thyroid problems or infections. Axa Gig rejected most tests, leaving me undiagnosed.
Denied Angiologist Consultation - I then I went to see a doctor to give me some diagnoses for some veins in my legs. The doctor recommended an eco doppler exam to determine the best course of treatment. But to my despair, Axa Gig denied both the consultation and the requested exam. I was forced to pay 500 AED out-of-pocket for a 5-minute appointment, which was extremely disappointing and embarrassing.
Refusal to Cover Gynecological Care - Most recently, I experienced severe abdominal cramps and pain, prompting me to visit the hospital. The gynecologist performed a quick scan and determined that further investigation, including an MRI, was needed. However, Axa Gig refused to cover both the consultation and the requested MRI exam. I was left to deal with the pain and uncertainty, unable to receive the proper medical care I required.
Diagnosed Myself - Frustrated by Axa Gig's repeated denials of necessary and basic medical tests and treatments, I decided to pay for comprehensive blood tests on my own. The results showed that I have hypothyroidism, a condition that requires further medical attention and treatment. This is information I should have been able to obtain through my insurance coverage, but Axa Gig failed to provide.
My experience with Axa Gig has been disastrous. Their denials of essential care - blood tests, consultations, exams - left me let down, out-of-pocket, and undiagnosed. I strongly advise against Axa Gig. They failed to fulfill basic coverage to customers like me. I urge anyone considering them to choose a more reliable insurer.

The most terrible health insurance…

The most terrible health insurance company ever!!!! Avoid at all circumstances!
They kept Patient for 12 hours in strong pain without any answer in Emergency! Refusing to approve needed test and not approving the required treatment by the professional doctors of the Hospital saying that they did not receive needed tests! Which they refused themselves!!!
Breaking their own policies and rules, when they have maximum 2 hours in emergency to respond!!! After 12 hours we still dont have an answer! Called the helpline, which refused to give any comments or feedback on this case!

I have long day with the medical board…

Dr. Erika very bad service from medical board I have long day with the medical board team,
Erika she give me hard time as I’m patient we give her the medical report she let do it for tree time and I called her more then 4times to answer me!!! Ever time to get something new in the report she is not help full at all
This not the service I’m expected

My doctor approved for 8 weeks with home intensive therapy
She approved only 5 sessions it’s only for 5 5days at home then need a new report from my doctor which is I’m in wheal chair unbelievable abou doctor Erika

Avoid

No point in buying health insurance with GIG. It is useless!
Even for the basic blood tests and prescriptions they will automatically decline the application, no mater what a professional Doctor requests.
I would hate to think of the consequence if it was a serious medical case.

Hope you all are doing well,if you guys UAE residents kindly dont buy any kind of insurance from gig gulf insurance very bad behaviour and mostly branches are closed in UAE they use fake landline no in different state but all branches are closed no one is there even there is no office available they chat you and not provide you a proper service specially in car claims or vehicles insurance very bad try to buy somewhere else but dont buy gig gulf insurance.

Disgraceful service

A huge disappointment. There Medical Board barely approve any claim. The doctor prescribed the test for a 10 year child to check her level of ferritin and her two thyroid tests due to complaints on tiredness, appetite and hair growth. They approved only general blood test and one thyroid test explaining this to see first the results and then decide if to approve others or not. The board is not the doctor is not who examines the child how could they decide on it. If there are symptoms they must care follow the doctor prescription. So they literally prevent the doctor from comprehensive analysis and diagnose by approving only parts of some tests. They want a child to go back and forth to the hospital, to do repeated blood collection and the doctor not being able to have a complete understanding of the situation. All this to save 400 aed after we paid for the insurance 15,000 aed. Clear indication that they don’t respect a patient and don’t honor doctors evaluation.

I have lived in different countries and…

I have lived in different countries and made health insurance with others. GIG-Gulf is the worst health insurance company I have ever seen. They always gave trouble instead of giving a good service. They almost accused me having a chronic disease that I did not mention it in the contract. Later, I paid and made my controls, funnily there was no chronic disease which they referred to . The doctors i visited also know failure of GIG and frequently ask how I failed to choose GIG. I don't recommend to anyone. Do not waste your money.

Excellent claim settlement

Excellent claim settlement. I had insured my cars and friends cars as I was trusting AxA and now GIG. RECENTLY due to heavy rain and hailstorm in uae my car got damaged and I got the cheque in less than ten days and temporary car for 7 days .No words to say about the settlement of GIG gulf .

NEVER AGAIN

FRAUD. AVOID the scammers.
I needed travel insurance compensated for delayed flight and lost baggage, they don't care and are useless, first I couldn't reach them, couldn't file a claim (imagine!), when I reached them, they IGNORED all proof and asked for something unattainable just to reject compensation.
GOD FORBID you need health insurance from them, NEVER AGAIN I will deal with them.
Also their rude and vague communication just to make you feel small, such a gasslighting.
HORRIBLE. Find another insurance

Just NEVER!

Sadly, I find myself reading all these negative reviews after having already signed the corporate contract with this organization. For every little thing, even the smallest confirmation, you have to wait ages for approval. The medical department is very mean, unfriendly, and even rude. Although my broker was very nice and professional, he couldn't help me overcome all the barriers. Just save your money, time, and health. DON'T DO IT, PLEASE! Organizations like AXA/GIG just shouldn't exist on the UAE market.

GIG ruined good old AXA

I was dealing with axa for years until it became gig, since then this insurance company became absolute garbage. I have already switched to different company for my 3 cars that were previously insured under gig.
As in Bahrain the procedure after an accident is to take the car to workshop where insurance companies staff visit every day to inspect the car and approve the quotes, however, you would see all the insurance companies representative staff except gig staff, they take many days and weeks before showing up and approving the work,all other companies visit workshop early morning but gig, they arrive late . All workshops gave me the same feedback. It's a pattern of lazy and unprofessional staff who clearly have no accountability so they just don't like to do their job. As result my car repairs were delayed for more than a week in all three occasions. I feel so bad because axa was soo good but I guess all good things come to end. That's why GIG happened to AXA.

The insurance company did not link my…

The insurance company did not link my insurance with immigration department accordingly i am not able i renew my visa i called the customer service on 30/1/2024 and inform them the case and inform them that i have emergency case in my country till date done nothing. You will get excellent customer service till you pay the insurance fees after no employee will listen to you or try to solve the problem
