Fast visit and easy had all parts in great condition ready upon arrival and at a great price and loaded them into my vehicle

Like many other reviews, initial communication with this company starts well but soon deteriorates when problems arise at which point they become defensive and ignore requests to put things right.
I ordered a pair of replacement headlights for my BMW in October 2024.
They were delivered in December 2024, and were professionally fitted and programmed using ISTA software.
However, the DRL on the left headlight was considerably dimmer, which I reported to German Parts, and to their credit, they sent out replacement DRLs.
The beam pattern thrown out by the lights was also erratic, which I reported to German Parts.
I made an appointment to visit German parts and
I visited them in January 2025 for the DRL to be replaced and the beam pattern rectified.
I met the owner Joe, who I found to be very friendly and personable.
The errors with the headlights could not be rectified, so Joe agreed to order replacements for me.
However, these never arrived.
I made many calls to German Parts as well as emails and WhatsApp messages which were ignored.
A BMW dealership inspected the headlights and confirmed that the beam pattern was erratic and tried to correct them but without success and suspected they were probably for LHD models, and would fail an MOT.
I pointed this out to Joe, but by now he was not responding to any emails/WhatsApp messages from me.
I then had the headlights replaced by BMW for new OEM ones in order that the car would not fail its MOT.
I asked for a refund from Joe - again this was ignored, so as a last resort I applied for a CCJ against German Parts on the basis that the units were faulty. The onus lies with the retailer to prove that they were fit for purpose within 6 months of purchase, which German Parts did not do contravening the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
They did not respond to the CCJ application and the CCJ was successfully issued against German Parts.
German Parts have ignored the CCJ.

Firstly, I would like to thank German Parts for responding to my review very speedily...
I would address the points raised By German parts as below:

1. Fit for Purpose – Nature of Purchase and Warranty Terms
Response: Joe was aware from the outset that the car already had retrofitted LED headlamps. I have email exchanges confirming this.

2. Customer Complaint and Inspection Findings
Response: Yes, I agree that the car had a front end collision, but this was in 2019 before the initial retrofit of the headlamps. They were installed professionally using the correct programming software and passed every MOT since. German Parts have provided no evidence of the damage they refer to, nor any evidence that the headlamps supplied by them had been fitted incorrectly.

3. Attempts to Recover Funds and Replacement Request
Response: I agree that I lodged a claimback via the funding source. This was in response to not receiving any replies to the numerous emails/phone calls/WhatsApp messages sent to German Parts. Joe had agreed to supply replacement units, but these never arrived… As a result of the chargeback I lodged, Joe pleaded with me to retract the chargeback – again I have WhatsApp messages confirming this.

5. Lack of Product Return and Harassment from Claimant
Response: This point interests me… why would I want to return the products if German Parts is not honouring a refund? Again I have email exchanges offering to return the products in exchange for a refund. I even offered to accept a reduced refund, but no response was received from German Parts.
In no way were my emails to German Parts either aggressive or threatening – they were polite and informing German Parts of my intentions. I have these in my sent items.

In conclusion, Joe, please refund me and I will return the products to you and have the CCJ set aside. We can then just shake hand and agree to disagree…

Reached out to Joe as I was stuck for a part for my W204 C63. When I tell you he couldn’t have done more for me, it’s an understatement. Literally sourced the very last part in UK and got it to me in 24 hours!!! If you’re in need of any parts, LOOK NO FURTHER Than these guys. 10/10 service end to end. Visited yesterday to get a parking sensor and number plate plinth fitted (which I ordered previously) Everything was done quickly a professionally. I was informed when the parts arrived and painted and ready to be fitted. I am extremely happy with the service provided and highly recommend German Parts!

I strongly advise against purchasing from this company. I ordered a headlight that was guaranteed to arrive within 3 working days, yet more than two weeks later nothing has been delivered. The tracking number they eventually provided shows no activity, raising serious doubts about their reliability.

This delay has caused significant disruption to my work, as I have been left without a car and forced to rely on taxis for the past week. When contacting customer service, the responses I received were defensive and unhelpful, rather than solutions-focused.

Based on my experience, this company does not deliver on its promises and demonstrates poor customer service. I would recommend looking elsewhere for a trustworthy supplier.

I used German Parts again after my recent great experience to get some more parts.

Joe as always proved to be super helpful and very competitive in pricing and also got my alloyed refurbed and tyres fitted !!

Even helped to diagnose and get a replacement parking sensor which have been behaving erratically.

Once again, great customer service! Highly recommended!

Second visit to replace some body parts that had discoloured. All done seamlessly bringing the car back to showroom condition!

First class service and very competitive pricing. Part was rare & unusual, so had to be manufactured by Mercedes and adding a small delay. I was kept up to speed and they chased the part on a regular basis. Due to the above we were concerned about the part getting damaged in transit, so the guys at German Parts hand delivered it to me. Can’t fault them and 110% recommend.

Met joe a few months back and made a list of mods id like to do on my c63s, prices were given and very fair and we are gradually making our way through, no pushy sales techniques or rushing, always informative and sends update pics of works being carried out, secondary decat done today along with new facelift grill, springs and steering wheel next, they have it all! I contacted Joe for a lot of technical information and prices for multiple items before deciding what I was going to buy. Most companies wouldn’t want to waste their time when there’s no guarantee of a sale. Joe was very polite, knowledgeable and came back with everything I needed. I then ordered a GTR full rear wing upgrade which was way cheaper the through MB and arrived in perfect condition on the day it was meant to. Throughout the process I was given regular updates and I can say this is a very professional company to deal with.

Ordered a set of OEM discs and pads for my AMG GTR. Items arrived quickly and for a good price. I had shopped around and they were the cheapest for the parts I needed. Will defs be back for any other parts I need.

Great customer service. They helped me check that the headlight was the correct one before ordering, and gave me an approximate delivery timescale as the part was located at their German warehouse.

There was a bit of a delay with the part arriving in the UK, and it ended up taking 5 days longer than expected, but each time I queried the order, someone got back to me within minutes to give an update.

Overall the price was about £200 cheaper than any stock I could find in the UK, and £500 cheaper than our local garages could source, so having to wait around 2 weeks for delivery wasn't too bad.

Telefonisch überhaupt nicht erreichbar. Per Email wird was versprochen was nicht eingehalten wird. Für fehlende Teile einer Bestellung warte ich noch bis heute .Also der Kundenservice ist katastrophal. Sehr schade
