So far I have had a great experience with FreedomPop, if I had issues, the were effortlessly resolved with costumer care.

Ok price if you catch the right deal. Mixed experience with apps and service.

If you want to cancel, you are in for an unpleasant ride. You have been warned.

There is no way of cancelling the account - the instructions online are incorrect (there is no Cancel my account option) & the phone goes dead when you press 1 for customer service. Freedompop, you clearly read this, so cancel my account & refund me as you have given me no option to avoid charges short of stopping my credit card. You can see I haven't used your service for over a year

FreedomPop is a complete scam.
Make sure and check Google reviews and check the Better Business Bureau.
It will save you a lot of horrible frustration and money.
It's a scam.
They responded to my review pretending to care about my customer service experience. They were rude and horrible for a full year.

Been trying to contact freedompop UK regarding my refund but not getting proper reply from them seriously it's a worst service providers ever.

Very shady contracts and policies. Hard to cancel by phone. I was charged 40 dollars even tho I used it once. I want my money back. I cancelled it and I still got charged.

I signed up for their SIM kit but I did not activate the SIM upon receiving it. Yet I got charged a $100 dollars. When I was chatting with their tech support person about this charge, I was told that the service starts the moment I sign up. It is so absurd. Please stay away from them.

Update 10th March, 2020:
I provided my email id and phone number in the private message as requested below. But till now no action has been taken. Please don't believe in FreedomPop. Better go for some other service.

Ordered a trial SIM to try the service for my daughter. When I went to downgrade to the free plan as the trial was ending, the website would not allow you to downgrade unless you paid them $20 for "credit." I did so. Then when I tried to turn off the auto billing for overages, it forced me to pay $6.99 for a "service" to be able to turn off auto billing. Then 9 days later they billed my credit card again for $6.99 with the only description being "MONTHLY CHARGE." When I emailed and asked what that was, the only response I got was that it was for a service, but I didn't have any services selected. There was an option to escalate the issue to a company rep, which I did and then they cancelled my service and never responded.

The company is a scam, stay far away.

UPDATE: I exchanged 10+ emails with this company. The company continued to send me stock messages that came word for word from areas of their website, but none of what they sent actually addressed the issue of a monthly charge without description. They continued to say the service was stopped because I refuted the charge with my credit card company, even though I tried to refute the charge directly with them for multiple days with no response. Luckily, I was able to refute all of these charges successfully. I would highly advise not doing business with FreedomPop. They will randomly charge your credit card. When you catch the illegitimate charges and question them, they will ignore you until you are forced to refute the charges with your credit card company, at which point they will cut off any service you have left. I don't know what else to call this but a scam.

It's affordable, good for people who don't consume too much data, but the only cons are that I can not call or text without data

FreedomPop seems to provide adequate to good phone and data service at a reasonable price, but I wish calls were direct cell calls, not routed over the Internet. Messaging is also slower to start than with other carriers.

Freedompop has been real good to me. I have used it for 2 years and this inexpensive service has been all that I need and im5satisfied with their service.

I upgraded from a free account to a bi-annual unlimited 1GB account and it is perfect for my use.

So far has been smooth. There was 1 time when my account all in sudden does not work and I was at the airport urgently needed data connection. I could only write to customer service and got the issue resolved the next day. It's not a reliable service but for my usage it's good enough. If i use my mobile more frequently, I will switch to t-mobile or AT&T.

Wish I could give negative five stars.
This company is classic bait and charge. They advertise "free" service of 200 min, 500text and 200mb data per month. However, to start they charge you 0.99 to activate, and take your credit card. Then they will charge you for $20 as automatic top up even before you know that you crossed 200mb data.
To disable this non sense, you pay 6.99 per month.
Classic bait and charge fraud.
Stay away.

So far it has been great. I use this for my kid to play Pokémon Go. My primary phone is ATT and honestly, this is the same service. Never have a drop in quality or coverage area. I have recommended a ton of people to freedompop! Love the service!

Using data only for GPS navigation - Waze and Google Maps apps. I don't use voice and SMS functionality.

Freedompop charged me $106 for no reason (I didn't go over the usage limit). I have paid them the $20. Trying to reach them with no luck. So, I called my credit card to dispute to try to get them to call me. Instead, they just turn off my service !! What a SCAM !!!
After seeing Freedompop reply on Feb. 25...
I contacted freedompop & they just told me my account will not be turn back on once disputed is filed with credit card company.
Eventhough, I was charged $106.36 for no reason.
Also, the billing feature & account for private message is no longer existed when they cancel my account.
It's all a SCAM !!!

So far everything‘s been pretty good with the good prices and the reliable network I would use that little bit more if I had more data

Do not waste your time with this offshore company. You will be miserable. They have the worst customer service in all of cellular history. They only take sales calls if you are buying a plan, if you need tech support, it's only online through community forums. Truly horrible. You have been warned. Also, check out all of the other reviews on how charge people. Class-action Lawsuit coming.
