Made an enquiry for a large order for fire detection for several properties. A very competitive price came back. I asked if the 10 year battery life is guaranteed. They responded to say they give a 2 year warranty. That looks quite short, even if they lasted 5 years reliably you would offer 3 years surely? Asked for a phone contact. Was ignored and now they seem to have blocked my e-mail. Have now ordered the detectors from another company in England for a price somewhat lower (sorry misread prices in previous version of this post). (Response to reply posted 15/12/21) I note no response to the absence of telephone contact, nor to the short guarantee. Alarms have now arrived from the company in Alford.

I ordered a full set of smoke, heat and carbon monoxide alarms for our house. They were a very reasonable price and were delivered quickly. We had an issue with one alarm not networking, but Fireguard Plus sent a replacement straight away. Customer service was excellent. The alarms themselves are of a good quality and work brilliantly. They are very straight forward to install and use.

My alarms arrived in 4 days, very fast delivery.

Recently bought a standard bundle from Fireguardplus, the order arrived well within the timescale quoted when I made the purchase. The linked smoke alarms and heat sensor were extremely easy to set up ( it took me longer to unpack the items than to pair them ). Having a remote control unit included in the system is extremely helpful as it means I can test/silence the units without having to find something to climb on to gain access.

Excellent - ordered a pack of various smoke/heat etc alarms for the new scottish legislation - a piece of cake to turn on, link together and fit - simple instructions! The package also arrived quickly - I would thoroughly recommend this company!

Delivery on was received in five days. Instructions were easy to follow. Installation was quite quick and easy. I would recommend this product.

I ordered a standard bundle and also a full bundle. I installed the full bundle in my own house. This was easy to install and the instructions were easy to follow. As to the standard bundle, I ordered this to install in my mothers house. As per instructions, I tried to pair them and test they were working. I could not get them to pair. On returning home, I tried to use my own remote and it worked. I emailed Fireguardplus about the faulty remote and a replacement was dispatched that same day. I installed it in my mothers home yesterday and it worked perfectly. 1st class customer service and a great product. I think that an improvement on the remote could be beneficiary for blind/partially blind people, where a braille nodule could be put on the test button.

Ordered 2 smoke and 1 heat alarm from Fireguard and received them within a few days . Easy to fit with simple instructions and great product. I have noticed a few negative reviews which are mostly caused by the courier not the quality of the product.Due to my own experience i must say the service was first class.

I have had a similar experience to an earlier review. I was told my parcel would be delivered 12/11/2021. When I track it, it is still at the depot and is stated to be delayed. I cannot use the ‘let me fix this’ button as my order number and email apparently don’t match. This seems to be a problem with the courrier parcel2go. I have contacted fire guard plus and initially received a quick response but have not had a response since.

Edit: I have now had a response from Lauren at fire guard plus who have informed they will resend the items special delivery. Appreciate the quick response and solution.

Ordered Standard package on Friday, delivered on Tuesday, and installed on Wednesday. Easy to install just follow the instructions. Really pleased with this product, speed of delivery and cost. A lot cheaper than getting an electrician to install. Would certainly recommend product.

Prompt delivery. The alarms look neat, modern, come with clear instructions, and are easy to install and set up. One query I had was dealt with almost instantaneously by email. I recommend these products especially if you need to comply with the new Scottish regulations coming soon.

Ordered the middle pack to meet the Scottish Government requirements that are being introduced in February. Great service from the company. Very well packaged with a leaflet giving clear instructions. The alarms are easy to link and attach to the wall with adhesive circles, plus there are also screws provided to attach to the ceiling. I would highly recommend this product.

The alarms are easy to set up and pair wirelessly . They look good, but are unobtrusive at the same time.
It’s probably better to use the screws and ceiling plugs to secure them as the sticky ring didn’t work on our kitchen ceiling , with the result that the alarm fell and broke irretrievably .
However , the company ( thanks Peter) replied to my email the same day and dispatched a replacement heat alarm . Simply superb customer care.
I can recommend this company and their products to anyone thinking of upgrading their smoke and heat alarms.

I bought the fire alarms as soon as they were available and am delighted with the product from Fireguardplus. Their written instructions and a useful video made it simple to start and synchronise the alarms, including the Heat alarm. The adhesive ring is much simpler than drilling holes but may not be a benefit if your ceilings are not smooth.

We thought that the instructions for setting up and synchronising the alarms were clear. The most difficult bit was re-attaching the alarm to the base plate. Initially I was applying too much pressure and switching them off. We are very pleased with the appearance of the alarms as they're very unobtrusive, plus the ease of setting them up as we had been questioning whether we'd manage to do it.

Great product and value for money. As we are over 80 our son installed them and incurred no difficulty. Have recommended to family and friends. Thank you
