FEMME FATALE FINISHES Anmeldelser

Kate transformed our tired wooden banister - looks amazing. Looking forward to having her back to transform our wooden floors!

Kate has restored two very old wooden chairs that were my grandmothers. She removed all the old dark stain and restored them back to a glowing natural wood. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her work.

Today we collected our table top that had been refurbished for us. It had a few children knocks and white stains. It’s a fairly old table we have had it for over 30 years but we cherish it. On collection we were amazed at the finish all marks gone shines as if it were new and we were extremely impressed. A great piece of work and thank you.

One large and extremly heavy dining room table and a matching smaller one in need of some love and restoration ! We finally decided that Kate was the right person to bring them back to life. There were concerns on both sides of how the heavy beast of a table would be transported to and from Kate’s workshop, With a little help everything went smoothly. The table well protected for transportation and the finish was exactly what we were looking for.

The due diligence we took leading us to Kate’s website paid off and she comes fully reccomended.

Kate’s skills and ability can transform any, treasured aging piece of furniture into just like new. In these times when everything is so expensive to replace and update , Kate can transform your kitchen ( I know because she did mine) , dining furniture , hall furniture as in my case much needed repairs to both my Consoler table and Dinning table , I was astounded how good the finish on both tables were. I would highly recommend Femme Fatale Finishes and the exceptionally talented and very experienced Kate.

Kate has transformed my console table in my hallway. Solid oak refinished in Farrow and Ball Skimming Stone. Stunning. Completely lightened the hallway. Thank you Kate. Another job well done

Our dining table and chairs were refurbished to an excellent quality and Kate was so professional

The table and chairs were collected and returned completed in just 2 weeks

We would highly recommend FFF

Kate did a fabulous job restoring a coffee table and sideboard 5 years ago, so we had no hesitation in asking her to paint our pine wardrobes and headboard to match our new bedroom decor. Kate didn't disappoint, she did a fantastic job and colour matched perfectly, I would highly recommend. Thank you again Kate !

Lovely restoration of a writing desk by Kate. She's done a few jobs for us now, some on furniture, some on flooring, and we've been 100% satisfied each time.

Dining table and chairs restored and re-sprayed. Kate was excellent. Service first class and the set turned out brilliantly. Would highly recommend.

I am absolutely blown away by the transformation of my timber table! What was once a sad, dark, and dated piece is now a radiant masterpiece bursting with rich, golden warmth. It’s like the table has been reborn — the grain practically glows, and the matte finish is so smooth and luminous it looks like something out of a high-end design magazine. I honestly can’t stop staring at it! The skill, passion, and artistry that went into this renovation are next-level. If you’re even thinking about restoring a piece, do yourself a favor and contact Kate. Worth every single penny!

Kate did an amazing job restoring a walnut kitchen worktop and butchers block to its former glory. It was an absolute pleasure to have Kate doing the work, from initial contact to completion the whole process was seamless. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend FF Finishes and I don’t think Kate has the last of us !!

This is the second time of using Femme Fatale Finishes.
Words cannot express the excellent high standard of workmanship from Kate. The attention to detail and professional finishes are second to none. Anyone wanting a outstanding class of work look no further than Femme Fatale Finishes. Nothing too much trouble whatever it is wanting a new lease of life. Till next time Kate.
Many Thanks Carol.

Kate restored 2 inherited pieces of furniture for us that were sentimental but really not our taste. She did a wonderful job replacing the paper and repairing defects in a glass fronted cabinet, but blew us away with the results on an old oriental carved cabinet. This was so darkly stained with ingrained debris after 100 years of use that we thought we may need to paint it to get it looking suitable for a modern home. But the results were outstanding, the cabinet has been stripped and restored to its former glory and we are so happy with the results. Kate is a true perfectionist.

Kate is a true craftsperson. She and Pete have finished renovating our old, wooden, water stained kitchen worktops and they are now unrecognisable. A treat to watch professionals at work, sanding the sycamore back to the original surface, applying 3 coats of oil and finishing as only perfectionists know how!. They were both great to be with, knowledgeable, sharing experiences and indulging Luna our lively labradoodle. Absolutely recommend their work. Liz and Clare

Kate did such a good job with my inherited oak day bed I asked her to take on these 2 ‘steamer’ chairs (I think they were from a steamship) that my late mother secured at an auction in the 1970s. I loved their style and comfort but they had been stained dark and Kate undertook a labour of love to transform them, I just need to find suitable cushions to do them justice…

Kate renovated 2 small tables for us She has done an amazing job on them. We are thrilled to bits so impressed with her skills and professionalism. Kate was friendly and very helpful. Would certainly recommend Kate.

Kate was great to work with from start to finish. She not only did a great job with the floors, but also sourced extra tradespeople for jobs that we discovered along the way.

I used Femme Fatale Finishes to restore a wooden trunk and a bookcase. They were items of great sentimental value to me. Kate listened to what I wanted and did a superb job. The trunk was in a poor state and she has turned into a beautiful and very useful piece of furniture.
Kate agreed a price before starting the work and there were no hidden extras. She went out of her way to help me collect the items at a time to suit me.
Excellent service and I happily recommend.

Kate replied promptly to our request and arrived on time and was efficient in doing the staircase. It was well done and she kindly took away the banister which was not attached and finished it at her workshop.
