Aqua Plank Herringbone -Superb
I was potentially looking at an order for 90m2 for my kitchen/dayroom and garden room, which was a considerable amount of money so I was very cautious about buying floor coverings off the internet especially when I couldn't see what a small area looked like laid and all I had to go off was a small sample. The process for obtaining samples is very easy and efficient and the samples arrived within a couple of days
I placed an order for the Natural Oak Aqua Plank Herringbone and now I have it laid it looks absolutely fabulous, it looks as good as Amtico (which I've had laid on jobs previously) and is a third of the price and a lot less hassle. The quality of the Aqua Plank product is superb and so accurate and well made its unbelievable which makes the finished floor look spectacular.
The flooring is straight forward to lay as long as you take your time, think about what you are doing, follow the instructions and take care.
I am really pleased with the finished floor and would recommend it to anyone who wants a really high quality looking floor.
I dealt with Brian Merriman at Factory Direct and he was brilliant, so helpful and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble for him.

Damaged flooring, unacceptable delivery and disappointing customer service
Very disappointing experience from start to finish.
I ordered vinyl flooring for my business, and it arrived significantly damaged, affecting two layers of the roll. To make matters worse, the delivery drivers left the flooring outside on the street without informing us.
When I contacted customer service, instead of offering a proper solution, I was told that I could simply cut away the damaged sections during installation.
We had ordered specific measurements for our studio, so this was not a realistic option. Due to our business schedule, we had no choice but to proceed with the installation and attempt to glue the damaged section back together. The terrazzo pattern makes the damage less noticeable, but the product is still damaged.
Despite all this, the company offered only a 30% refund, which I do not consider reasonable given the condition of the product and the disruption caused.
I paid for brand-new flooring and expected it to arrive undamaged and be delivered professionally.
Extremely disappointing product condition, delivery service and after-sales support. I would not recommend this company based on my experience.

Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry that your experience has been disappointing, particularly regarding the condition of the flooring on delivery and the way it was left by the delivery driver. This is not the standard of service we expect, and we have apologised for these issues.
We would, however, like to clarify a few important points for anyone reading your review.
Our initial advice regarding trimming was intended to establish whether the affected areas could be removed during the normal installation process, avoiding unnecessary delays or inconvenience. This is common practice with sheet vinyl, where material must ordinarily be trimmed to fit the room. Importantly, we also expressly advised that if the damage could not reasonably be accommodated during fitting, the flooring should not be installed and you should contact us so that we could investigate and arrange an appropriate resolution.
Unfortunately, despite identifying the damage and receiving this advice, you chose to proceed with cutting, repairing and installing the flooring. While we appreciate the commercial pressures you have described, proceeding with installation in these circumstances significantly limits the remedies available, particularly as the flooring can no longer be inspected or replaced in its original condition.
You subsequently requested a full refund, or alternatively an 80% refund, despite having retained and installed the flooring. We did not consider this proportionate in the circumstances. Nevertheless, we offered a goodwill refund in recognition of the difficulties experienced, which we believe represents a fair and reasonable resolution.
We take our responsibilities seriously and always aim to resolve genuine concerns fairly. Equally, we ask customers to follow the guidance provided when damage is identified, so that we have a reasonable opportunity to investigate and put matters right before installation takes place.
We regret that your experience has fallen short of expectations and remain willing to resolve the matter on the basis offered.

We're never happy when customers are disappointed with our third party delivery services, however in your instance we don't feel this rating is fair.
Your order was placed on the 21st and you elected for the lowest cost delivery service of 3-5 working days, meaning your order can arrive up until 28th, so to leave this feedback for us before this time is slightly premature. The tracking shows your product is with the carrier at their Lockerbie depot around an hour from you, so there is every chance that this will still be fulfilled within your chosen delivery window. A named day service is available if you had selected and paid for this during checkout.
We fully acknowledge that delivery issues can occur on occasions, and if they do we will always work hard to resolve them for customers. We note that we have not had any correspondence from you regarding this particular order - as had we had we could have informed you of the service you had paid for and updated you on its current journey to you. And as with every carrier, standard delivery times are estimates where a timed service has not been selected.
We would kindly ask that you revise this rating, given that the delivery window you've chosen has not yet elapsed.
If there are any issues with your delivery, then we appreciate being contacted in the first instance so that we have an opportunity to put things right.
