You book a flight, even trough third party sites like skyscanner or kayak, and after you confirmed your details and your credit card, you get a call (Indian guy) saying that they don't have the flight anymore and they offer you an "upgrade" with another company for "a couple of hundreds dollars more". Your e-ticket never arrives. You call again to claim that you haven't received your ticket yet and then they again claim the "airline had some issues" and that flight is not longer available. They offer another one for again "a couple hundred dollars more". It never ends. At the end you get charged what you originally pay and you never get a ticket. Then you request the refund, never arrives.
Total thiefs.

No compren en esta página, es estafa total, dudo de las buenas reseñas que tiene porque a mí me estafó con 7 boletos aéreos, te llaman para decirte que hay algún problema y te cobran extra prometiéndote que ahora si se hará la reserva, además te llaman gente con acento hindú. Total estafa, no devuelven el dinero y desaparecen por días y días. Si les pasa algo similar, pidan contra cargo a su banco para anular la compra y evitar que los estafen.

Es una estafa llame y dice que ya estaba sold out y que el precio se incrementaria 2000 dolares mas. El precio del website no es real.

I try to bye two airlines tickets and first they didn't issue them, when I called them they said that they're more expensive, when I agreed they debit my credit card $420 dlls, and never issue the tickets and they stayed with the money. They are thieves

We purchased four tickets from San José, Costa Rica, to Cancún, Mexico. Initially, everything appeared to be confirmed, but about 30 minutes later, we received a call informing us that the fare was no longer available. They told us we would need to upgrade to the next fare level—requiring an additional payment of approximately $700 for the four tickets—or keep the original total amount but reduce the reservation to only three passengers. They also claimed that we could visit the airline’s website and purchase the regular fare, which was around $1,000 per passenger.
The agent was yelling at us over the phone, trying to force us to accept "the deal". This company is a scam; they offer fares that are not available, so they can rip you off, forcing you to pay extra. Luckily, we were able to block the card before any charges could be made.

American Airlines canceled my flight because they were doing fraudulent transactions and they don’t want to refund me 322 USD. Which is very disappointing and they are rude when you call them. DON’T BUY WITH THEM

The worst experience on a platform like kayak, they sell “cheap ticket” but they do not do the connection with the airline, after they call to offer other options that are more expensive and it’s not what you order on kayak. Sincerely they should be banned from platform because their marketing is deceiving. So I DO NOT RECOMMEND THE USE OF FARESMOJO.

I went through a very bitter process with this agency, I bought a ticket for a price and in the end they called me that there was always a problem with my ticket that the seats for that flight sold out and they tried to sell me another one that was more expensive.

What I started with 773 was already charging me 1189 and they wanted to sell it to me in 1800, which I would like to send for cancellation of the reservation, I just hope that they will return the full charge value.

FOR MY VERY BASE EXPERIENCE AND I do not like the type of person who attends to you, their voice sounds like INDIA and they tend to make a lot of fraud. [-5*]

I’m sharing my experience so that other travelers can be aware before booking with Faresmojo.

On October 1, 2025, I booked a set of international flight tickets through Faresmojo (Booking reference FC409568) after being redirected from Kayak. I was charged USD 3,535.97, and their confirmation stated that my e-tickets would arrive within 4–6 hours.

However, despite calling their support line multiple times over the following two weeks, my tickets were never issued. Each time, I was told that they were being processed and would be delivered “soon.” Later, I received an email saying the booking was canceled due to technical issues, and only a partial refund of USD 770.51 was processed.

Even worse, during one of my calls, a Faresmojo representative requested my full credit card details, including the CVV code, over the phone — something that should never happen in a secure transaction. Shortly afterward, I discovered an unauthorized charge of USD 810 from Avianca, made on the same card. I have never shared or used my card with Avianca or any other party.

I have reported this incident to Kayak, my bank, and the Costa Rican Consumer Protection Authority (MEIC) for investigation.

Beyond the refund, I believe Faresmojo should take responsibility for the data security breach, the financial loss, and the lack of professionalism shown throughout the process.

If you are considering booking through this agency, please be extremely cautious. Always verify the authenticity and security of the transaction before providing payment details

Kayak brought me to these people I purchased my ticket thinking everything was confirmed half hour later. I got a text from an individual saying that my tickets weren’t confirmed trying to sell me upgraded tickets. They told me they only have three seats available out of five. From 3000 I was gonna pay almost 5000 because they didn’t have my seats! When I confirm my seats when I bought themThere are a scammers don’t buy anything from them. Stay away from kayak and stay away from this people. Charlatanes !! They’re gonna start calling you and emailing you, letting you know, they have some better offers. So when you buy from them, it’s not true! Scammers that’s why people don’t trust this horrible websites
