On 26 March, we contacted you via WhatsApp to explain that the estimated lead time for this order would be 4 to 5 weeks, and as a gesture of goodwill we also applied a 10% discount to your purchase.
However, we appreciate your feedback and agree that clear communication is essential. An additional update in the meantime would have been good. We will continue working to improve the ordering process.

Ho acquistato un paio di occhiali Gucci che presentavano un piccolo difetto nella lente. Nel corso dei mesi, il difetto è peggiorato fino a rendere la lente completamente opaca. Li ho contattati (entro 6 mesi dalla data di acquisto), hanno sostituito la lente, ma ci hanno messo un po' a rispedire gli occhiali perché anche le lenti che avevano ordinato erano difettose. Solo il secondo paio è arrivato perfetto, MA non hanno coperto le spese di spedizione: spedizione iniziale, spedizione di reso e riparazione; ho dovuto pagare altri 60 € più 15 € di spedizione. Non mi aspettavo un simile atteggiamento da un rappresentante Gucci, e gli occhiali costavano 325 €. Non acquisterò più da questo sito web.

Grazie per aver condiviso la sua esperienza. Ci dispiace sinceramente per il difetto riscontrato e per il tempo necessario a completare la sostituzione della lente.
Nel suo caso, il processo si è purtroppo prolungato perché anche il primo ricambio ricevuto presentava a sua volta un difetto, e abbiamo preferito attendere una lente perfettamente conforme piuttosto che rimandarle un prodotto non all’altezza. Comprendiamo però perfettamente che, dal suo punto di vista, questo abbia comportato ulteriore disagio.
Ci dispiace anche che la gestione dei costi di spedizione le abbia lasciato un’impressione negativa. Apprezziamo molto il suo feedback, perché ci aiuta a riflettere su come rendere più chiara la gestione dell’assistenza post-vendita in casi come questo.
Siamo sinceramente dispiaciuti che l’esperienza complessiva non sia stata all’altezza delle aspettative e la ringraziamo per avercelo segnalato.

The worst
The worst, worst experience ever. In the age of online shopping, if you're unhappy with your order, you have to pay an extra $150 to return the item. I would stay clear of that website; there are plenty of others where you can buy and return for free.

For clarity, the amount in question was not a return fee charged by eye-oo, but import taxes and duties for delivery to Australia, which were not included in the order total. As stated in our Terms and Conditions, we cover duties and taxes only in selected markets. For other destinations, these charges are the responsibility of the recipient.
As the shipment was refused due to the unpaid import charges, the parcel was returned and the related carrier costs were applied accordingly. We understand this may have been frustrating, and we appreciate the feedback, as it helps us improve how this information is communicated during checkout.

A Bad Experience Overall
I purchased a pair of Tom Ford glasses from this retailer. They arrived in heavily worn condition. Most likely they were a display or return. There was no protective packaging on the frames. I’ve purchased probably 10 other pairs of designer frames - including other Tom Ford ones - and they’ve always come with crinkle wrap on the frames.
Customer service was quick to respond and after sending photos they promptly provided a return label. I really wanted these glasses, so I asked for a replacement. Unfortunately, today, the replacement also arrived with no protective packaging and have wear - scuffs, finger prints all on them. They do not look nearly as bad, but a new product should actually be new.
In the process of returning right now. Customer service once again responded promptly.
Honestly, would never use this company again. Huge time suck on me because they use DHL for return and there are few stores in my city. When I did go to return the first pair, the first store I went to was actually closed during hours they were supposed to be open. While this is not eye-oo’s fault, it just added to my frustration. To then receive damaged glasses once again and take even more of my time to deal with this issue has just put me off big time.
While customer service is great, clearly the company has potential for scammy behavior. If it’s a factory second or whatever, list it that way. Don’t try to pawn it off once delivered. I don’t want some little partial refund. I take care of my stuff and I don’t know that these glasses would ever end up in this condition the way I would maintain them. So having them look this way from the jump for me is just unacceptable.
