Excellent printer, dependable and reliable

I pre-ordered a Centauri Carbon and got an estimate ship date. The machine was a month or so out at that point. The whole time I received updates to let me know the status. Once the machine arrived it was quickly inspected for damage, and none was found. The packing of the part is very robust and kept the printer safe.
The product itself is great. It makes beautiful prints right out of the box and doesn't require the tinkering and trouble shooting that my old Frankenstein of a Tevo machine required. Overall great experience and would highly recommend for both the new hobbyist or anyone coming from an early generation printer.

My review got flagged by Elegoo because I told the truth and now Elegoo and trust pilot want to take it down I’m telling the truth no refund no item I’ve been robbed and Elegoo keep sending me Chinese links to random websites to confirm something but I don’t read Chinese if I’m not being truthful post the confirmation of delivery or a refund trust pilot want me to put more information by give me no way of giving more information and if you don’t agree with the flag it tells you not to respond to the flag and your review will be taken down anyway

The Elegoo Centauri Carbon is a fantastic printer.
So why not 5 stars?
Because the way they're handling the promised "AMS/MMU" It was promised and is the reason many people bought the printer.
Now they're just ghosting us on it.
Let us know it's coming or not. Either way.

This is actually my 3rd resin printer, and I wish I could have started with this one. My previous ones were bargain-level printers that didn't last long, maybe a year before their screens became useless. This Elegoo Mars Ultra is my first mid-range printer, and it's fantastic.

What really makes it great are the features that make it easy to use without any surprises. The autoleveling was perfect right out of the box, which is an absolutely fantastic feature as I hate manual leveling. The print quality is fantastic, and with that screen, I can get some extreme levels of detail.

The software side is a huge plus. The printer comes with a lifetime license for the Elegoo version of Voxeldance Tango, which is a very professional and capable slicer. It's stable, the auto-supports are usually sufficient, but the ability to customize supports is essential and it's fairly intuitive here. You need this slicer for the WiFi connectivity to work, and the setup was very much a 'connect and go' experience. Sending a print directly from the slicer to the printer without messing with USB sticks is a feature I love.

My first print was just a calibration cube, and it came out perfectly with the suggested print settings for the abs-like resin I was using. Since I print miniatures for gaming, I'm developing a resin blend for durability, and adjusting the print settings was easy enough in the slicer. The printer has performed beautifully. Now whenever I need a new monster for the table, I can just slice and print.

I'm using this for both personal use and my business, and I'd definitely recommend it as a first-time printer for anyone new to the hobby.

Das ist der Elegoo Neptune 4. Mit dem neuesten Firmware Updates und verschiedenen Slicern. Nach nunmehr vier verschiedenen Supporttickets, die bei jedem Mal mit Mühen, jedoch nicht dauerhaft behoben werden konnten...
- 1. Verbaute Schrauben sichtlich beschädigt, Filament pupst unkontrolliert aus dem Extruder
- 2. Druckkopf bleibt urplötzlich stehen und fördert bis zur Stromlosigkeit das Filament
- 3. Stützstruktur wird im Slicer sauber geschichtet, aber wie eine ripped-jeans gedruckt und bricht nach 9/10 Stunden im Druck weg
- 4. Z-Offset viel zu gering (-2.3mm), dennoch zu viel Abstand zum Druckbett, niemand hat eine Erklärung dafür - Druck haftet oft nicht
- 5. Neue Probleme nach einem Supportfall (aus Blobs wurde Ghosting, nach dem dritten Bed-levelling hafteten die Objekte noch schlechter. Verflucht.

Und noch so viel mehr. Schätze 70% des verwendeten Filaments (Original Elegoo PLA) liegen im Müll, es geht ja immer etwas schief.

nach ziemlich genau einem Monat und vielen, vielen E-Mails später wurde nun der Fall bei PayPal eröffnet, es besteht das Recht auf Nachbesserung nach 437 BGB. Würde den Kaufvertrag am liebsten sofort widerrufen und zu einem anderen Hersteller wechseln, das Geld ist dort wesentlich besser investiert.

Meine Erfahrung: maximal schlecht.

meine Empfehlung: keine 3D-Drucker von ELEGOO kaufen.

Ich finde das sind die besten Drucker,
die ich bis jetzt hatte (Mars, Centauri Carbon, Neptune 3 + 4). Ich habe sie noch!!! Das Filament ist auch spitze.
Bin ein großer ELEGOO-Fan!!!!

I have nothing but a good experience Elegoo. From tech support for my Neptune 4 plus to the quality of the filaments. I don't think you can go wrong with Elegoo.

I only have experience with there PETG CF. I love it!!

I only bought this because of the promised multi-color printing. They have since removed all mention of the multi color from the website. False advertisement is disgusting. I will be removing all elegoo products from my print lab because of false promises and lack of support from Elegoo. Spend the money anywhere else. They're already making the Centauri Carbon 2, instead of delivering on promises.

The ordering process and the delivery went flawless. The product itself is much better than expected. Awesome product, god job elegoo

Quick and extremely helpful response.

They responded with incredible speed to a query/issue I had. They provided me with the quickest and most effective solution I could have hoped for and went above and beyond the initial consultation, offering me advice on how to check the equipment and components (including a video). They also reassured me by telling me that what happened is common when it comes into contact with resin and gets soaked, but that it has a solution and can be prevented. Everything was great, 10/10.

I have literally gotten 1 and only 1 good print off of this printer. Glad I paid for a huge paper weight. It constantly needs service and yes, I have gotten help and go through ALL of the check lists. The 3 max has left me completely stressed out! Got a lemon for sure and I can't even make lemonade!!

Sprzęt tego producenta robiony jest chyba z używanych części albo przerabiany że zwrotów. 2 drukarki kupione u nich i obydwie wadliwe. Pojemnik w jednej i drugiej przeciekał. Kluczem jest to gdzie się kupuje. Więc czasem żeby walczyć o swoje trzeba dać te parę groszy więcej. Sprzęt wogóle sam się blokuje dzięki czemu uszkodziło mi wyświetlacz. Oczywiście elegoo nie widzi problemu wysyłają jakieś filmy żebym sobie podkręcał śrubki a wyświetlacz kup se nowy. Nigdy więcej syfu elegoo. Odradzam każdemu przereklamowanego g....a

I have bought the Saturn 4 Ultra about a year ago and it has been a solid printer. Setup was easy and most of the failures I have experienced have been orientation issues. Would recommend.

I purchased a Centauri Carbon and it was money well spent for a 3D printer. I have had two other 3D printers and neither could match the Centauri for speed or accuracy. It worked flawlessly right out of the box and the print quality is outstanding.

Elegoo has been very responsive regarding orders I have placed, for the Centauri and for accessories.

I am very satisfied with my purchases from Elegoo.

My elegoo Centauri carbon has only done three prints and I already have a nozzle clog.
