Doubletree London Tower Bridge
Staff were very pleasant and helpful.
However, we felt the rooms were small and we faced in, so no view and based on yhis was dissapointed with the price
The drinks in the bars were extremely expensive and the sky bar is nothing to write home about!
Breakfast has excellent choice, but was manic and not very organised.
Also the hot food was luke warm, could do with better hot plates and the pancake machine is rubbish.
Lastly,the lifts are very temperamental and u have to use your room card to press the floor when going up, which from a security perspective is great if they worked! One day we were so fed up trying to get it to work to get out at floor 6, that we went to 7 with the other guests and decided to walk down, but the stairs are not well signed, we eventually found a fire escape and used that, but I did not feel there was sufficient sineage and did not expect to have to use the fire escape. God help guests if there was a fire!
Sorry Doubletree by Hilton Tower Bridge, you did not impress.

From a 4 star hotel you would expect a more clean room and a much better and professional service,
-As soon as I arrived at the reception I was greeted with a : “do you have a car in the parking as you need to pay for it to avoid a fine” (without even an Hi welcome!)
-on my toilet wall there were splashes of some drink, there was a spider web in one the corner of the ceiling, the first morning I barely could shower because the shower gel wasn’t topped up and the bottle was empty ( I texted the reception at 15:30 to get an answer at 17:40 saying that someone would come up and when they arrived they passed me this big bottle and said: there you go” and left) ;
-I had dinner in the restaurant on my last night and the staff service and behaviour was just not at level of a 4 star hotel (they would make comments on other guests requests, and all standing behind the till laughing and joking and eventually to talk to each other from one side of the room to the other they would raise their voices; they made me feel uncomfortable as it seems like they didn’t want to be there, one girl rolled her eyes to a customer request while leaving, while he couldn’t see her, I could).

Stayed at Hilton double tree in Brighton.
The hotel room was dirty. Found the previous peoples makeup in a drawer. The phone didn't work at all, and they left the last peoples toilet paper which was only half full in our bathroom. At 2 am it ran out, and we couldn't even call down to the lobby as the phone was broken. The swimming pool was a disaster. It is dirty and there was nowhere to sit. It was extremely busy. The spa was fully booked. I had come to the Hilton with the intention of using the spa and pool, and both were a disgrace. Would not recommend at all!

Great staff, all very polite and helpful.
Room was small and too hot, even with the air-conditioning set at the coldest setting and maximum fan. Breakfast was nice with a good choice. But as with all these buffet style breakfasts, the hot food is always allowed to go cold. So unless you get there when it's just put out, it will probably be cold.
All in all, I just think £230 for one night was expensive for what we got. The Hilton in Bangkok was a million times better for half the price.

I recently stayed at Double tree hilton at Hyde Park London..
I had been offered and paid for an upgrade to a king size room with Park view ..upon my arrival I was told my room wasn't ready and was offered a room overlooking the car park , I declined the room as I was told my room would be ready in an hour or so , so I went for a walk and look round the park. Upon my return to the hotel I was given my room key and when I got there it was opposite the 1st room I was shown, this time over looking the bins , clearly not a park view . I went back to reception and was told that they couldn't move me to a park view until the following day , which I found strange as an hour earlier I was told my room would be ready ..
I agreed to be moved the following day . So eventually sometime after 4pm the following day I get my paid for room , my luggage was still in the other room and I had to go back to reception to get someone to open the door to retrieve my luggage . I was moved to a room that was supposed to be a Park view , room 505 is most definitely not a park view . The shower didn't work properly, the toilet didn't flush properly and the room in general was pretty poor. I just couldn't go through moving rooms again as I only had 2 nights left . My whole experience of staying here for my partners birthday was pretty bad and felt like I was in an episode of Faulty Towers...

We had our wedding shower in the 356 Club and were treated with exquisite care.
Todd the manager was so helpful from the planning stages months before, to the setup the week before, the day of and throughout the event. No stress!
Guests raved about the bright well-appointed environment and about the excellent food choices.
As mother of the bride, I felt proud of the entire outcome.

Bad App and bad “Motel” quality stays
1. The electronic checkout was disabled for our last stay experience and the daily line at the hotel’s front desk was long, with only 1 desk staff on duty.
2. There’s a section of the app interface for local food, attractions and shopping. It was massively out of date for business location AND times. Almost everything was incorrect indicating a complete lack of any ongoing due diligence as some shops only ever had 1 location. (Meaning, don’t give a song and dance vendor reply about covid or something….you no longer have benefit cushions for customers for less travel nights since covid.)
3. Bad electronic information for available hotels. Our last hotel was so bad that I didn’t want to complain, but I also didn’t want to complete the week-long reservation. When I used the App to check rates and reservations for nights between the following night and the last night of the stay, it showed as having vacancies and said had a statement to call the hotel. I was using an app to book through the app.
4. The hotel description for the last hotel we stayed in really overstated its attractive location on the app, but we couldn’t tell until we got there.
5. On the App, I selected to pay more for a “relaxing” waterfront view. I could not see water from the room door, we could not see water from the bed, and we could not see water from the sofa. To see water a person had to stand about 6 feet from the window to the far left past an industrial brick building and a scummy parking lot and then you could see water only a little bit on the left angel when standing. This is an app for a hotel room, not a real estate show featuring a “peakabooh” view of water. First time being scammed on a view that costs more money.
6. In the App, after we checked into our room the balance for the room cost disappeared. Even though the automatic checkout was disabled in the app, no print out of the bill was under the door like is supposed to be the case when it’s not on the app. When I checked out at the desk NO ONE would give me a copy of the bill. So this is a reminder to see how much we were really charged for the cringy on-site parking situation.
Hilton lists way more hotel brands as being on the App and they simply are not on the app. That, combined with worse check-in times, abandoning leisure clients whose travel hasn’t picked up as much since covid, and many hotels simply being subpar means that I’m now going to be looking for another membership program. The Hilton App program now simply cons a person into throwing good money after bad hopping you’ll get enough nights to get good status back. And the app tries to get you to go down a rabbit hole to use partner services and stuff. It’s only been a frustrating experience of they get me on tracking cookies but I don’t get the promo.
Because the hotel property is so terrible I don’t recommend doing the Hilton App / Hilton Honors Program
The thin TP, thin pillows, and thin and scratchy bedding made for an abysmal experience too. Parking was at least $30 day + tip every time I took out my rental car. It felt like a contractor bought the parking lot AND was paying slave wages. It felt gross.

Won’t be staying here again
We were advised we could have an early check in, when we arrived we were advised that our room wasn’t ready and we had to wait 2 hours until we could finally check in. We had booked the kings deluxe room, it wasn’t that deluxe, very basic and the decor could do with an update.
The breakfast was probably the only best thing about our stay, good choice of food and the chef made good omelettes and poached eggs upon request. We went to the bar for a cappuccino as was advised by the restaurant staff we could get one, staff didn’t seem that interested and then advised that they had stopped serving coffee.
We enjoyed our stay in London but unfortunately we won’t be staying at the Hilton double tree hotels again

During the check-in, my wife noticed an unpleasant smell. He was not strong and we did not attach much importance to this. Moreover, we came to see Wroclaw and were not going to stay at the hotel.
But on the morning of the 3rd day of our stay, the unpleasant smell turned into a decomposition smell of decay. We contacted the receptionist Anna. A cleaner came to us and offered to spray an air freshener) We refused - after all, the smell of decomposition cannot be eliminated without finding the source of decay.
Of course, I understand that there were 3-4 hours left before our departure and it was easier for the hotel workers to wait until we left than to resolve the issue.
But, what was it like for us to spend the remaining time in the room smelling like a slaughterhouse? In general, the impression of the Hilton was spoiled(((
Don't bother - other places are better
No address of hotel on reminder email. Link to Google maps on confirmation email went to a housing estate. App to check on was difficult to use and key card on phone didnt work.
Room service menu on television wasnt updated so they didnt have my choice of food. Menu in the room was assumed to be the restaurant menu.
Ventilation fan worked all night and made a squealing noise.
Otherwise all was good!

Excellent customer facing reception staff as a first impression of the hotel.
Due to mobility issues I booked an accessible room which was larger than normal. You need to be aware that not all the rooms they class as accessible have wet room facilities. Some have baths with grab rails so make sure you specify if you need the former.
Super large comfortable bed with massive tv really spacious clesn room
Good buffet breakfast both hot and cold offerings with unlimited tea and coffee.
Excellent health facilities Gym,
pool and sauna. Faye the lady on duty during my stay couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful. Nice to be greeted by a smiley face in the morning really helpful lady.
I would recommend this hotel and will definitely be rebooking.

Excellent Hotel with Superb Customer service
This is by far the best hotel I have stayed in. The reason for that is the people who made the experience a very warm and inviting environment. I would like to single out two people for particular praise. Sophia at reception was delightful, caring full of empathy for my needs as a disabled person, who without prompting recognised my needs and assigned me to an accessibility room. Sophia made me feel very special, a great personality and without a doubt a wonderful human being.
The second person is Mohammed who helped me with breakfast, he again was empathic and without prompting helped me by getting my breakfast for me and continued to check I was OK.
These examples are a reflection on the training and calibre of persons employed at Double Tree Hilton Tower of London. The philosophy of a customer-focused service is clear and long may it continue. Thank you very much for a great stay. God Bless. Michael

This hotel is a disgrace while the interior is ok , they ignore their responsibilities outside the Hotel which the hotel is clearly responsible for !! They also owe a lot of fees to the community in which the hotel is based . This runs into tens of thousands of euro but they still trade !!!

Dejligt ophold på Double Tree Victoria i London. Rigtig god service! Vi blev altid mødt af smilende personale i receptionen, uanset tidspunkt. Morgenmadsbuffeten er rigtig god. Den har alt, hvad man skal bruge + at personalet altid sørgede for kaffe i koppen. Alt i alt en fremragende oplevelse. Kan klart anbefales!

I have a simple problem housekeeping couldn’t solve because of company policy.
There is no toilet brush in the rooms. I came here with a girl. I needed to drop a number 2. I noticed the absence of toilet brush. I called reception with my request and they called me back soon after telling me it’s their job and part of the service. I don’t think anyone wants to look at the marks on the toilet every time they go for a pee. It’s not just this hotel btw. I’m sure it’s hard to clean them after idiot costumers and they make the room unclean looking. I’m sure it too expensive to buy new one for every customer. I rather pay £1.50 extra for my room and buy Al the cheapest but new toilet brush. It’s a Hilton. This name used to mean something.
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE OVERALL
I ATTEMPTED TO SEND THIS TO THE HILTON, BUT IT WOULDN'T SEND. SO I NEED YOUR HELP. THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED.
I'VE BEEN A HILTON HONORS MEMBER FOR MANY YEARS AND WAS JUST ASTOUNDED ABOUT WHAT I EXPERIENCED DURING MY RECENT STAY. I TOOK PHOTOS AND WOULD NOT HESITATE TO POST THEM. -WE HAD TO UNPLUG THE REFRIGERATOR BECAUSE IT HUMMED LOUDLY WHEN PLUGGED IN.
THE ROOM DID NOT HAVE ENOUGH LIGHTING IT WAS TOO DARK. THERE WAS ONE OVERHEAD LIGHT, AND THREE LAMPS.
IN 2022, THEIR WERE NO USB HOOKUPS FOR PHONES, LAPTOPS OR OTHER ELECTRONICS. THEIR WERE 1990'S PHONE JACKS AND A/C PLUGS ONLY.
THE PHONES WERE FILTHY AND HAD CRUD IN THE SPEAKER CREVICES AN ON THE RECEIVER.
THERE IS RUST AROUND THE BATHTUB DRAIN AND PEALING PAINT INSIDE THE BATHTUB
ALL THE BATHTUB HANDLES WERE DIRTY WITH BUILT UP SOAP OR SOMETHING
EVEN THOUGH WE INDICATED THERE TWO OF US STAYING IN THE ROOM, THERE WERE ONLY ONE AND A HALF SETS OF TOWELS INITIALLY IN THE ROOM. WE CHECKED IN ON THURSDAY 12/1 AND WERE TOLD NO ONE WOULD CLEAN UNTIL SATURDAY. WHEN WE CALLED FOR ADDITIONAL TOWELS WE WERE TOLD HOUSEKEEPING WAS JUST CLOCKING IN. WE HAD TO CALL AGAIN TO ORDER TOWELS AND KLEENEX, BUT THEY DIDN'T BRING THE NUMBER OF TOWELS WERE REQUESTED AND NO KLEENEX. LITERALLY ALL THE TOWELS WERE DINGY AND HARD. WHEN HOUSEKEEPING ARRIVED THEY DIDN'T BRING KLEENEX. WE WERE TOLD WE HAD TO CALL THE FRONT AGAIN. WE CALLED AND WAS TOLD HOUSEKEEPING LIED.
THERE WERE NO LUGGAGE RACKS AVAILABLE OUTSIDE OR ON ANY OF THE FLOORS. WHEN WE CALLED THE FRONT DESK, WE WERE TOLD, THEY WEREN'T AVAILABLE. WE MADE 4 TRIPS FROM THE ROOM TO THE CAR. THE FRONT DESK WATCHED BUT OFFERED NO HELP. THE CONDITION OF THE ROOM AND THE SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE. REFUND $742.95

My wife and I stayed at the Double Tree Hilton on St Maurice's Road in York, England 🇬🇧 for 3 nights last weekend.
What an absolutely fantastic hotel to stay in.
From checking in to leaving the hospitality, friendliness as well as the courtesy shown to us by the staff was unfaltering and very complimentary to ourselves.
The room we stayed in, a disability access room, as usual satisfied our needs entirely and was very comfortable to stay in.
Any issues encountered were resolved immediately and to our satisfaction, so, no complaints with maintenance 😉 👌.
A perk we have come to enjoy staying at this hotel 🏨, as we have stayed many times previously, are the complimentary large warm cookies 🍪 🍪 🍪 🍪 🍪 ,mmmmm, they are so delicious. 😋
On this occasion we did not eat in the Yorkshire Bar and Grill, the hotels restaurant 😋, but we have in the past and it is well recommended as is the bar which remains open for residents until around midnight 😀.
Breakfast is fantastic as it is cooked to the standard you would expect from an establishment like this, and it is served buffet style too.
Although we are not the earliest of risers, so usually last minute for breakfast, we are still accommodated by friendly staff only too eager to serve our needs [coffee 😀].
As we are blue badge 💙 holders we are able to use the limited complimentary disabled parking spaces for the duration of our stay, which is most welcoming given the hotels brilliant location to the city centre within the historic city walls🧱 .
As we enjoy the hospitality of York so much, this hotel 🏨 is out preferred choice whenever staying in York.
A special mention to Ms Jade Seal, who, without her friendliness and down to earth 🌎 ❤️ character, the visit would not be complete as we have come to know this very pleasant lady through our many visits, which initially started at the Hamptons by Hilton in York a few years ago.
As the customer liason/hospitality manager who is responsible for the front of house reception staff, Jade greets us with all of her enthusiasm and expertise each time we visit, as well as ensuring our needs are met, given my wife and I suffer from many health issues.
From a customers perspective, it shows quite clearly the type of manager that Jade is as she is backed up and, in our opinion, complimented by the very efficient, professional and friendly staff who serve our needs throughout the duration of our stay 😀 😉 😄 😊 👍.
To sum up, a very pleasant, beautiful place that is very comfortable and very hospitable, which, in our view represents excellent value for money and a rewarding experience that we will remember 😀 😊 😄 👍 for a long time ⌛️ ⏲️ to come.
