I have used this company several times and would 100% recommend them. Their clothes are beautiful and customer service can’t get any better! When I recently had an issue with a return, Maria was more than helpful and went above and beyond to resolve the problem.

Brought a dress for my wedding and it was amazing.

The quality of the dress was outstanding. The lace was soft and not itchy. Fitted lovely.
The customer service was brilliant and was posted the same day.

As a plus size woman I have been finding the current fashion trends do not match my personal style and do not make me feel good in my body. I know that a classic A-Line swing dress is flattering on everyone so it's my favourite go to! The issue I have is having larger boobs on top of that, so the line often doesn't flatter my body, or my boobs looks squashed.

I ordered three dresses in two sizes and was pleasantly surprised to find that the smaller size better fitted me without squashing my boobs. One of the bigger dresses I ordered I wanted to return for the smaller size so I can wear it at my best friends upcoming wedding, and so I processed a return and sent it off at the weekend not really thinking about the time frame of all that.

On Monday I received confirmation from the courier that the parcel was delivered but my return status on the site had not updated, now having realised the time frame I had to work with, I decided better to not risk waiting and reach out to customer services instead on Monday evening, to see if I could get any info on how long to expect the process to take and mentioned my reasoning.

The person who I spoke with, Maria, was very helpful and had swift replies. She explained the return/refund process is usually done within 7 days, which wouldn't normally be a problem for me but it does cut it a bit fine for the wedding and I really wanted to wear this dress to it! Maria helped me speed up this process and has confirmed I should receive my replacement dress tomorrow (Wednesday) or the following day (Thursday) which is in plenty of time for my besties wedding and I'm so excited to be looking good and feeling good at the event!

I really love these dresses, I can't thank their customer support enough and I'm absolutely looking forward to treating myself to more dresses from here in the future! Huge thank you to everyone over at Dolly & Dotty!

Fantastic customer service by a lady called Maria. I'm shopping for a 1950s wedding dress and she has kindly received one, if I cannot find one I like when I go wedding shopping next month. The price of this dress is amazing too.

I love Dolly and Dotty's dresses. They are high quality, inexpensive, comfortable and unique. Unfortunately, Brexit has made importing into Germany a bit difficult, but it's worth it and I'm very grateful that it's possible to purchase the clothes.

Dress was fantastic. Excellent customer service.

Disappointing returns service
I ordered several dresses for an event. I ordered a week in advance and was pleased by the 2 day delivery option. However the dresses were not delivered until after I had left. DPD are adamant it is the company’s fault but I do not necessarily agree with that. I was in full communication with the company throughout this time I returned the dresses unopened as soon as I got back and I know that my dresses were received last Saturday but have had no communication with the company since then, despite several emails and attempting live chat. I am getting increasingly concerned as my bank states nothing is pending to come back in either. I am pleased to read recent reviews stating that customer service is good. Hopefully this is just a blip and I will receive my refund soon, but the lack of communication is a big red flag for me. I am disappointed as I thought I had found a new favorite store - the dresses certainly look gorgeous online

I wish I had found this incredible shop sooner. I absolutely love vintage clothing but found it so incredibly difficult to find good quality vintage clothes. Dolly and Dotty was suggested to me by a friend and the quality is just so stunning.

Ordered a couple of items in my first order which were too big however it was so simple to return and the refund process was quick and simple.

So many incredible designs it is hard to choose the ones that are your favourite - definitely going to be using Dolly and Dotty for years to come... I sense a summer vintage wardrobe makeover coming on..

So many beautiful styles to choose from, with lots of great prints and patterns, with new lines added. There's currently one with otters on, or Labradors or dinosaurs!
The customer service is beyond excellent, they're respond quickly and happy to help with your questions, Maria in particular was a great help to me. Wonderful shop, beautiful dresses, with amazing customer service!

My dress arrived very promptly in time for Fawley Vintage Fair and it fitted beautifully and was very good quality.

Fabulous customer service. They go above and beyond to help and are interested in comments and suggestions. I love their retro style dresses and get so many compliments so always recommend Dolly & Dotty. The quality is always excellent and I love the fact that their dresses have pockets. I prefer cotton dresses as I dance a lot but do get tempted by some of the gorgeous polyester blends too as they are just so pretty!

I buy many vintage style dresses for different online company’s, but Dolly and Dotty have the best dresses out of all of them. The quality of the dresses are perfect and customer service is brilliant. You never have to wait long for your delivery, and, even though vintage shopping can be expensive, the prices are great and affordable, and the clothes are definitely worth every penny. My go-to vintage shop!

I had been really looking forward to my dress arriving.
My disappointment was mainly on my part, having assumed, given the style of dress, it would have been made of cotton. In fact they are polyester, and a rather cheap feeling polyester too. That being said it appeared well made.
The sizing is generous and I should have ordered a size smaller.

I will be returning the dress (which I have to pay for, having already paid £4.50 p&p to receive). I have checked the website and they have no automated returns system in which I can receive an address label so a little frustrated.

Purely because these dresses are not cotton I will not be ordering again. The fact that I have to pay for my own returns is just another payment I could do without.
