Deliciously Guilt Free is a small, family-run British chocolate maker on a mission to prove that giving up sugar should never mean giving up great chocolate. We make artisan, no added sugar chocolate for people who love chocolate but want less sugar in their lives. Whether you’re living with diabetes, following a keto or low-carb lifestyle, or simply trying to cut down on sugar, we believe you still deserve seriously delicious chocolate. And we mean proper chocolate. We use high-quality cacao, real cocoa butter and carefully chosen ingredients to create rich, smooth chocolate without adding sugar or using palm oil. Our chocolate is made in small batches, stone-ground for days and carefully tempered by our team before making its way to you. Deliciously Guilt Free started in our family kitchen when founder Dan began creating low-carb treats for his wife during her pregnancy after she developed gestational diabetes. What began as one husband trying to make something delicious for his wife has grown into a family business serving thousands of chocolate lovers across the UK. We’re still small. We’re still learning. And we still care enormously. Every day, our little team strives to make the very best chocolate we possibly can… for you.

Only tried orange chocolate VGOOD
Only tried orange chocolate- I soon got used to less sweet taste and like it very much. Have bought another two boxes so it must be good

Buying another two boxes is probably the best review you can give us 😂
I’m really pleased the less sweet taste grew on you too... we really want the chocolate and orange to come through.
Sounds like the Orange Chocolate has definitely earned its place!

Lovely chocolate plain and simple
Really nice chocolate worth every penny. I won’t be buying Cadburys any more it’s disgusting.
Keep up the good work Dan and your team

“Lovely chocolate plain and simple”... that’s a brilliant way to put it, Chris 😊
Really glad you feel it’s worth every penny, and saying you won’t be going back to your old chocolate is a pretty huge compliment.
Thanks for the encouragement too... it means a lot to me and the team.
Dan
Fabulous chocolate
Fabulous chocolate - ordered several times now and for diabetics like me, it's a little bit of indulgence without the nasty ingredients. Always hand made and fresh in batches - it really it was it says on the label - delicious and guilt free.

Several orders in is always lovely to hear... thank you 😊
I’m especially pleased it gives you that little bit of indulgence without feeling like you’re compromising on the chocolate itself. Handmade in small batches and using proper ingredients is something I care a lot about.
And “delicious and guilt free”... that’s exactly what I hoped we’d create!
Dan
Really delicious chocolate
Really delicious chocolate, it tastes like proper chocolate that a few chunks will keep you happy! Although i could eat it all in one go! And it does t raise blood sugar! Result! Thank you.

“Proper chocolate” is exactly what I want people to think when they taste it, Dawn 😊
A few chunks keeping you happy sounds very sensible... although wanting to eat the whole lot in one go is a review I’m equally pleased with 😂
Really glad it’s working so well for you too. Result indeed!

Delivery too long
Delivery too long, chocolate doesn't taste nice, I've tried four flavours, chocolate without sugar just isn't palatable. Not for me.
22. september 2026
Svar fra Deliciously Guilt Free
I'm sorry the chocolate wasn't for you, Christopher, but I really appreciate you giving four different flavours a fair try.
Taste is incredibly personal, and if you're used to conventional chocolate with a lot more sugar, ours can certainly taste very different. I deliberately let the cocoa take centre stage rather than trying to recreate that very sweet taste... but I completely understand that won't suit everyone.
On delivery, we do quote 3–5 working days before dispatch because we make our chocolate fresh in small batches rather than having huge quantities sitting in a warehouse. I appreciate that can feel longer than ordering from a large retailer though.
Thank you for trying us, Christopher. We may not have converted you, but I genuinely appreciate you giving my little chocolate business a chance.

Service and delivery is fast and efficient. Each bar has a unique taste of its own helping us to enjoy the chocolate treats without sugar .

I love that you've noticed how different each of the bars tastes, Mechelle... that's exactly what I want rather than every flavour just tasting like the same chocolate with something added to it! 🍫😊
And being able to enjoy a proper chocolate treat without all the sugar is, of course, the whole reason I started making it in the first place.
Really pleased the service and delivery have impressed you too. Thank you for such a lovely review!

“Hard to resist” is exactly the sort of problem I'm very happy to be responsible for, John! 😂🍫
Really pleased you're loving the chocolate... and even better that you've found something that fits with your keto lifestyle without feeling like a compromise.
Thank you for the lovely review, John... I'll keep making it, you keep trying to resist it!

This is my third order and was for my…
This is my third order and was for my wife’s birthday. I was concerned it was running late as I had not received notification of dispatch. However I was not to worry as I contacted Dan via WhatsApp on a late Saturday evening and assured me he would deal with it personally first thing Monday which he did. It arrived for my wife’s birthday and she loves it. She’s prediabetic and so this brand gives her confidence to enjoy the chocolate, which she does very much.

I remember this one, Jonathan... and I was almost as relieved as you when I knew the chocolate was going to arrive in time for your wife's birthday! 😂🍫🎂
Birthdays don't move just because we're busy making chocolate, so once you messaged me I wanted to make absolutely sure we got it sorted for you.
But the best part of your review is hearing how much your wife enjoys it. Knowing that, as someone who is prediabetic, she's found a chocolate she feels confident including as a treat means an enormous amount to me.
Third order too... so clearly we're doing something right!
Thank you for coming back to us, Jonathan, and please wish your wife a very happy birthday from me.

This is my second review of deliciously guilt free my first review was the milk chocolate which was very very nice but the second is the milk chocolate orange and i have to say its absolutely stunning in my last review I said how I've cleaned chocolate tankers out for well over 20 years and safe to say I know good chocolate when I taste it and how the chocolate industry has sadly declined well dan and his team have thrown a massive spanner in the works for the old chocolate makers and i have to say hand on heart there chocolate is the best I've had in a long time and im sure this will not be my last order from them thanks guys 10 out of 10

Robert, coming back to leave a second review means a huge amount... and somehow you’ve managed to top the first one! 😂
I loved hearing what you thought of the milk chocolate, but the fact the milk chocolate orange has now earned an “absolutely stunning” from someone who has spent 20+ years around chocolate tankers is pretty special.
Thank you for taking the time to come back and write again. I’ll happily take that 10/10... and I’ve got a feeling this might not be your last review either! 🍫

Gorgeous taste no blood spike
Service is first rate, efficient and prompt. But more importantly the chocolate is delicious, I especially love the dark chocolate, and doesn’t spike your blood levels. Great to have when you fancy a sweet treat!

And it’s great to hear it’s been working so well for you personally too. A proper chocolate treat without loads of added sugar was exactly what I wanted DGF to be about.
Thanks so much for the lovely words about the service as well.

I'm not entirely sure whether Rsg is your name or you've decided to remain a mysterious chocolate connoisseur... so I'll play it safe! 😂🍫
What I do know is that you clearly appreciate proper chocolate and good ingredients, which makes your five stars mean a great deal to me.
I couldn't really improve on your advice either... just give it a try and let the chocolate do the talking!
Thank you, whoever you are! 😄⭐

Fantastic chocolate
Fantastic chocolate. Having diabetes and recently having to take insulin I needed my chocolate fix and came across this amazing company. Super fast delivery, chocolate tastes beautiful and doesn’t spike my blood sugar. I took a bite of Cadbury chocolate recently and it tastes horrendous after eating such a good quality well made chocolate. I am a returning customer and will be back in good time. I fully recommend this product to everyone.

you get used to chocolate where the cocoa is doing the talking rather than loads of sugar, your taste buds definitely notice the difference! 😄🍫
More importantly, I'm so pleased you've found something that gives you that chocolate fix while living with diabetes and taking insulin. Hearing about your own experience with your blood sugar after eating it is exactly the sort of feedback that makes what I do worthwhile.
And you've already become a returning customer... that's possibly the best taste test of all!
Thank you for recommending my chocolate to others, Andrea, and for such lovely words about the quality. I genuinely appreciate your support.

I thought chocolate would be a distant memory after recently being diagnosed with Diabetes type 2 until I discovered Deliciously Guilt Free! After sampling my first order the chocolate tastes better than the chocolate I had before! Pleased to say you now have a regular customer. The communication is excellent too!

Going from thinking chocolate was a thing of the past to saying ours tastes better than the chocolate you ate before... Stephen, that's a wonderful thing for me to read. 😊🍫
One of the reasons I started making DGF was because I hated the idea that cutting sugar should mean giving up something you genuinely love, or settling for a disappointing substitute.
So I'm delighted you've found us after your type 2 diagnosis... and even more delighted that the first order has already turned you into a regular customer!
Thank you for mentioning the communication too. However much we grow, I want that personal connection with customers to remain part of who we are.
Welcome aboard, Stephen... we'll keep the chocolate coming!

Worth the money. Great chocolate.
Underwhelming start. Milk chocolate bar pretty tasteless. However, orange bar and mint bar are phenomenal. Nice flavours and textures. Dark is nice too. Also you are supporting and up and coming small business, good luck to you.

Well, Dan... fellow Dan here! 😄 I'll take “phenomenal” Orange and Mint, even if the Milk didn't quite win you over.
Taste is such a personal thing, and I really appreciate you being honest about which bars hit the spot and which didn't. I'm especially pleased you enjoyed the textures too... getting that proper cocoa butter melt right is something I care a lot about.
But the last part of your review means just as much. Every order really does support a small, growing British business and the people behind it.
Thank you for giving us a chance, Dan... and for wishing us well. I'll happily settle for keeping you supplied with Orange and Mint! 🍊🌿🍫

“Such a joy”... that's a lovely way to describe it, Janet. 😊🍫
Being diabetic shouldn't mean that one of life's little pleasures has to disappear completely, so knowing you've found chocolate you can genuinely look forward to makes all the work worthwhile for me.
Thank you for giving my chocolate a try, Janet... I'm really pleased you found us.
Dan
The chocolate is superb
The chocolate is superb. I bought the 4 Chocolate Bars Box which has a selection of flavours, all are lovely. It's for my teenage daughter who was recently diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and this gives her a sweet treat without her levels going sky high!

This one really means a lot to me, Helen.
A type 1 diagnosis as a teenager must bring so many changes for your daughter and for the whole family, so knowing my chocolate can still give her something that feels like a proper treat is incredibly special.
I'm really pleased to hear about her own experience with her blood sugar levels after eating it too... and, most importantly, that all four flavours have passed the teenage taste test! 😊🍫
Please send my very best to your daughter. I hope the chocolate brings her a little bit of normality and plenty of enjoyment.
Thank you for trusting us, Helen.
