When I moved into a new apartment and realised that the newly renovated kitchen had a place for a dishwasher, but no space to support even the smallest machine on the local (Finnish) market (too small by 3 centimetres!), I was at a loss. The lack of a practical consideration in the renovation really quite put me off.

Then I came across Bob. "Too good to be true", I thought, but honestly? Bob is fantastic. Bob fits on the countertop, next to the sink, just as they said he would. I did of course measure prior to my purchase, but was impressed either way. I ordered Bob with the tap attachment, and filling him up could not be easier.

Let's be real. Bob is small, but Bob does his job, and he does it well. The dishes are always as clean as they were back in my previous apartment when I had a bigger dishwasher. Also, yo, Bob is super stylish. He even plays music when he's done. I didn't think the sound of a dishwasher could actually be anything other than grating, so well-done, what a treat. Although, I do have to say, the best thing about Bob is that I can make bad puns about a Bob doing all the washing in the house while I lounge off.

Bob was packed very well when he arrived, the instructions were clear and easy to follow. The package was also delivered to my home which was unexpected, but certainly not unwelcome. The only slight negative with Bob's arrival was that the tap attachment and the bag it was in was a little wet, clearly Bob's parts had been tested prior to shipping which is good, but it made lifting Bob out of the box a little difficult since the water had made him a wee bit slippery. Nothing a towel won't fix, so this is really a minor setback.

Final negative note about Bob isn't really related to Bob, he's great, but when I was placing the order on Daan Tech Global's website, I would've liked to have bought the extended warranty, but was unable to do so. When I chose the option, it would just not let me move forward with the order. I wanted to make sure I could have Bob before the holidays and went ahead with my order, however, for anyone else not in a rush, you may need to contact support about this.

En cuanto a Daan Tech, hasta el momento, cada vez que me he dirigido a ellos (adquisición de las cassettes, que no me daba la opción por la página, quizá al ser de España), me ha respondido con rapidez y con un enlace para poder comprar.

Ahora soy de los que ha hecho la compra anticipada del horno Joe, cuya distribución se retrasa hasta el verano. También han sido diligentes, porque enviaron un correo para comunicar esa demora y, también, para ofrecer la posibilidad de reembolso.

En mi caso, prefiero esperar: si el horno ya me parecía bueno (confío en que el producto sea tan bueno como parece), con los cambios que se le están introduciendo me parece aún mejor.

J'essaie de les joindre par téléphone au numéro indiqué sur leur site depuis 2 jours et c'est toujours le même message "toutes nos lignes sont occupées". Le lave vaisselle a fonctionné une seule et unique fois et depuis plus rien!! J'ai voulu acheté français mais je le regrette profondément. Je vais le faire savoir sur l'ensemble des réseaux afin que personne ne fasse la même erreur que moi. Je n'ai toujours pas de réponse de leur part à ce jour y compris par mail. J'attends encore 24h00 et je dépose une procédure au tribunal pour non respect des conditions générales de vente

I didn't receive the tools to help installation , i mean the screw to close the water pipe outlet. So i had to buy one to install Bob.

I purchased the Bob Dishwasher by Daan Tech after initially hesitating due to the mention of taxes on their website. However, I decided to go ahead after seeing a recent Facebook post advertising no taxes to the UK. Unfortunately, I later discovered that this wasn’t accurate, as the tax-free arrangement wasn’t in place yet.

I ordered during a sale where all colours and finishes were priced the same (around £319). I intended to get the matte finish but accidentally selected glossy. I contacted customer service within hours to correct this, and while they initially told me I’d have to cancel and reorder due to a price difference (which didn’t apply during the sale), they eventually resolved it and switched my order to matte.

Upon delivery, I faced an unexpected £80 customs and handling fee, so I contacted them about the misleading Facebook post. They apologized, updated the post, and acknowledged the inconvenience. A few days later, I noticed their website had been updated to include taxes in the price, with a reduction in the overall cost compared to what I paid. I reached out again, and after some back and forth, they refunded approximately £30 to align with the updated pricing.

Now, after a few weeks of use, I can say the dishwasher performs well, and I’m happy with its design and efficiency. It’s perfect for a small household. The overall experience was positive despite the initial challenges, and I’ve since purchased cassettes from them without any issues.

Pros:

- Compact and efficient with a great design
- Customer service resolved my concerns professionally
- Excellent cleaning performance

Cons:

- Misleading advertising caused confusion and unexpected costs.
- Some back and forth was needed to resolve issues

Rating:
I’d rate this 3.5 stars if I could, as 3 feels too low and 4 too high. The product and service ultimately delivered, but the initial issues made the process more complicated than it should have been.

Machine arrived with a defective motherboard which was later fixed, but on top of this there is a dual product quality where some EU countries get a better Bob for the same price as everyone else, getting WiFi capabilities and the cassete system Beaware! Dan tech is cheaping out on the Bob’s!

I was very skeptical before buying Bob. My boyfriend and I did research on all types of different mini-dishwashers for our apartment. We found some nice and slightly cheaper alternatives but I am glad we ended up buying Bob. First of all, we read all kinds of reviews on Bob, we watched YouTube videos on Bob, we even asked ChatGPT to be devil’s advocate and consulted it about Bob. And we haven’t regretted a single euro we spent on Bob. We are a young couple that loves having everything extremely clean. But we both don’t enjoy doing dishes. If that is you, then Bob IS the solution. Is it small? Yes, but not as small as you think! After the first month we had found our tricks to fit more things in Bob and wash efficiently. Does it wash like a normal dishwasher? Yes! But again, you need some time to figure it out. At first I was complaining that it doesn’t wash nicely. But I didn’t have a piece of information that is extremely important. You need an ALL IN 1 dishwashing liquid. Extremely important. At first, we were using a cheap Lidl liquid for 2€. But after the kind customer support (which btw answer within a couple of minutes after I sent the email, kudos for that!), the glasses and dishes came out squeaky clean. I can’t even begin to describe how much Bob has affected my life, especially after a late-night cooking session. I just love waking up to a clean kitchen and not having to do the work myself! We’ve had Bob for 3 months now and I am confident to say to any of you still wondering if you need him or not: Do it! The quality is great (compared to many other options I found on Amazon et al), the design incredible and the results amazing. The only reason why I gave 4/5 stars is the heavy programs needed most of the time. If you’re getting Bob in order to save water, then go ahead! You’ll definitely save some money. But it’s not as energy efficient as you might think. Don’t get me wrong, it’s the best out there when it comes to kWh but if you think that you can wash everything with the 20’ program, you’re wrong. Most of the times you need the 50’ program after lunch and if the food remnants are dry, you need the 90’ program. For glasses or slightly dirty dishes, the 20’ program works fine. But for the rest, save your nerves and go for the long one.

Apparently outside of France they ship a different configuration that misses features. They sell dish washer detergent that is not compatible with this. It's not mentioned anywhere, so now I have useless detergent. Also WIFI is not included, so no updates possible. I returned mine after they could not fix this.

Appareil trop grand pour la place disponible de la vaisselle à laver, on peut y mettre 4 assiettes max et 2 tasses ou verres l'agencement intérieur n est donc pas top. Lave mal et ne sèche pas non plus. Bref, avec bob vaut mieux faire la vaisselle à la main!

Super produit! Cela fait cinq mois que je l'ai, je l'utilise tous les jours et le rempli à fond il marche super bien. Ma vaisselle est impeccablement propre. Je déconseille juste le bob cassette qui n'est à mon goût pas du tout efficace. À la place j'achète du détergent en poudre que je trouve en grande surface et dose par rapport à la saleté de ma vaisselle. Par contre sans le bob cassette l'appareil ne compte plus le nombre de lavages, ce qui est dommage car j'amais bien savoir pour savoir quand entretenir la machine.

Amamos nosso Bob, ajuda muito aqui em casa, serviço de compra e entrega, superou nossas expectativas, lava muito bem as louças.

The machine stopped working just after few months. Apparently this is typical for the product. Handling the complaint with the manufacturer has been really difficult. This product is not worth buying.

As there were no options to choose when I ordered, I expected to get a Bob with UV and wifi connection, but I got a basic model. There is no option to choose the upgraded model on the website.

I wanted to change the colour of my order and had a few questions about the delivery. Everything was answered and the staff was very helpful. I am very happy with the dishwasher and very glad I made this purchase!

Har brugt min opvaskemaskine i hvad der ligner 2 måneder og den oplever allerede fejl. Har ellers være så glad for den og tænkte at jeg hellere måtte skrive til deres kundeservice men selvom den sagde at det ville tage 5 dage fik jeg aldrig noget svar igen (den lå heller ikke i min spam) det synes jeg er dybt ærgerligt nu når den opvaskemaskine har været så piv dyr.

Opvaskemaskinen holder 2 år, hvorefter den begynder at fejle.

2 år skulle der gå og maskinen begyndte at fejle. Hjælpen hos Daan Tech er relativt begrænset, da garantiperioden er overskredet. Jeg har forsøgt at udskifte et komponent i maskinen, som jeg blevet rådgivet til i DaanTech. (Et lille kort til ca. 30€) det fixede ikke mit problem og nu er jeg så blevet rådgivet til at udskifte et andet kort til 35€!! Men her er det også uklart om det kan løse problemet.

Der er ingen udsigter til nogle former for kompensation. Det er meget belejligt for virksomheden at maskinen går i stykker lige efter garantiperioden. Dermed har de ingen juridiske forpligtelser ud mod deres kunder. Det er en skam.

Desværre har DaanTech ingen afdelinger i Danmark, så der er ikke mulighed for reparation - medmindre man er villig til at sende maskinen retur til Frankrig for en meget høj fragtpris (oveni kommer en høj pris for reparation). Det virker som en stor pengemaskine og kvaliteten af maskinen er slet ikke derefter.

Jeg vil ikke anbefale nogen til at købe en maskine fra DaanTech.

Mon BOB fonctionnait très bien, depuis quelques jours, il faut que je relave tout le contenu. J'ai vu que l'hélice était bouchée, malgré un nettoyage extérieur je n'ai pas résolu le problème. Je voudrais savoir comment démonter l'hélice pour mieux la nettoyer.
