Cushon Workplace Pensions are so easy to use due to their amazingly simple App. I can log in to see my balance and recent transactions. I am alerted, by email, when a new contribution arrives. Plus I can easily see my Pension growth.

Their customer service is shocking. They take anywhere between 4-12 weeks to reply to one query, and repetitively get things wrong (such as sending me someone else’s pension paperwork, which I’m pretty sure is a data breach!). Seriously they are absolutely rubbish. I can’t believe others have left good reviews because I’ve never dealt with a company this bad, and I’m not usually a complainer! Will be transferring out ASAP.

Before transferring my funds and accessing my pension, I explicitly asked Cushon's customer service if their platform supported automated, regular monthly UFPLS withdrawals. I was assured it did. Only after making my first withdrawal was I told that their system cannot actually automate this process at all.
​Instead, I am forced to log in and request my money manually every single month. Because it's treated as a manual payment, they default to an emergency "Month 1" tax code on every single transaction, completely ignoring my actual HMRC tax code. This leaves me stuck in a loop of constantly overpaying tax and chasing HMRC for monthly refunds. On top of that, my first manual withdrawal request came through short due to system calculation errors. Also manual withdrawals take up to two full weeks to clear.
​Forcing retirees into complex workarounds just because their app lacks basic retail payroll technology is entirely unacceptable. It lioks like i have to transfer my entire pension pot to a modern provider that can actually handle automated payments and tax codes correctly. Avoid this platform if you want a reliable monthly retirement income when you retire. They want your money but make it complicated to take it when you need it. What a shame.

I have tried to contact the customer help desk by phone several times, you hang on for 45 mins then get cut off, i would have given less stars but there is no option to enter zero, waste of my time and energy, my company enrolled us onto this platform....big mistake..😡😡😡😡😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤

I have been working Ower 12 years, I have never knew or noticed anything about my pension, until few months ago.
Towards the end of the 2025 my company has been taking over by another company,
Than I received first time from Natwest Cushon, asking if I have any other pensions from the other companies, they could transfer them all in one place. I was quiet surprised, I gave them a list of my privious work addresses and they did, check and transferred all my available funds, from those old companies or organisation, to a single place, I couldn't never do.
I am so grateful what they did and they still doing asking me if any other funds somewhere.
First time I could managed to see my collected funds over the years, from the different companies.
I recommend to everyone, like my self, not been involved or interested with your past working history, or your collected funds, ower the years, may do help you, if you in any economical difficulties. I thank you for so much to Cushon support teams.

I raised an issue with cushion that hadn’t been dealt with, once I raised this issue again cushion apologised, went about correcting the problem very professional and sorted it out very quickly which restored my faith in the company
