Disappointing aftercare
We had a beautiful wine cooler delivered less than one year ago. The service was quick and professional. However, within the first 12 months, the fridge has already broken. In reporting the fault nearly 4 weeks ago, we are still waiting for an engineer to come and fix it. The parts have only just arrived directly to us but no engineer! Slightly disappointing service after a good start!

Hello,
In the rare case where there is a warranty issue with a wine fridge we have to follow the processes of the manufacturer for the fix, in this case La Sommeliere.
That involves getting the serial number and a photo of the unit in situ, we then sometimes have to fill out a questionnaire to diagnose the issue if there are further questions from the manufacturer. In some cases, like this one, then parts have to be sent from France to you and then an engineer is arranged, all of this can add up to two weeks to a fix.
The retailer acts as a go-between to help the customer with warranty issues but we can only move as fast as the manufacturer acts and while we did push, call and re-email on your issue many times we are limited to the manufacturers SLAs. I feel, and think you agree, that we at Coolersomm have been helpful and pressing to try to get your issue resolved and I do understand that it feels like it has taken too long but a technician will be with you now this week subject to your availability.
I am at least glad you liked the product initially and am sorry you faced an issue with your wine fridge. Thank you for the review. We will see what else we can do to help speed up after-care processes with manufacturers and pass on your comments to the manufacturer themselves.

Ordered a wine fridge on the Monday
Ordered a wine fridge on the Monday, delivered by Thursday with a free bottle of Bolinger champagne too. Vestfrost looks good, delivery team were helpful but arrived a few minutes later than the call they left. Looking forward to using it.

Delivery not completed timeously
After receipt of my complaint that delivery had not occurred within the timeline advertised, I was immediately contacted by Coolersomm in order to address the issue with their delivery agent.

I am so sorry we faced this issue with the delivery day arrangements. As it was a London delivery we absolutely could have delivered within 2 days but from our conversation it sounds like a lack of training on the logistics company's behalf here has caused this delivery to shift into a second week and that is not our service level.
Steps will be taken to ensure the deliveries of this brand of wine cooler in particular happen as fast as they should.

Fantastic experience from ordering to delivery
Good product- what we wanted at a more affordable price point than many places I looked at. Looks fantastic and has all the features we wanted. Great communication from the company about delivery. Fast delivery by a very courteous duo who brought the fridge to the room I wanted and removed all packaging from property without any prompting. Highly recommend.
