Unreasonable wait time
I ordered a custom controller that was taking longer to assemble than the site predicted. When I called to inquire about it, they were honest about being behind and gave me a new estimate. I waited several more weeks, and they are out of stock for a part for my controller. They anticipate it will be done the next week. At that point, I had already been waiting over a month. The customer service rep was very matter of fact and non apologetic. When asked if he could do something to make this right and help me feel excited about the controller again, he said no, he's not able to make me feel excited and wasn't going to try. I got a refund and won't be using them again.
CATASTROPHIC company!!!!!
Been 3 months since i made the purchase, it was a ps5 dual edge controller with like super simple touch ups nothing crazy, paid for rush processing but seems that it takes longer than regular process,
Rush Processing cuts you to the front of the line and cuts this time in half! Any orders with Rush Processing should expect to be built and shipped within 1-3 business days, but mine took 3 months and still waiting for a response from them.
Matt is a good customer service representative
Matt had been a big help in customer service. I give Matt 5 stars, has been very helpful in the process of my controller being built and the lighting of metaphorical fires under the process of it being done. Their airbrush department gets 2 stars... if it wasn't for Matt, they would get .5 of a star or none at all. Their airbrush department needs to reconsider their manufacturing process in order to insure timely delivery. If they don't, I hope they step on Legos, barefoot. Otherwise the process has been interesting. Matt you get 5 stars, keep up the good work.

Horrible customer service and I still don’t have a product. I ordered three controllers April 2, 2023. It is now July 1 and I still don’t have my controllers, they haven’t been shipped, and customer service has stopped responding to my inquiries after saying they were gonna be shipped the end of May. their website says that they shipped an average of 7 to 14 days, when you don’t get your merchandise and you ask them they then tell you could take 35 business days, excluding holidays and weekends and even if you account for all of that they’re still two months late. very expensive product, if you can’t get it.

I just got my controller in, I have to say I am very impressed, You can tell these are not stickers with the design looking amazing. I thought at first it was not clear coated but when I called I found out they do a matte coat. I did not think it had the clear coat because it feels so natural. I absolutely love the controller and recommend them highly!

They advertise 7-14 business days for a fully custom product, but 1-3 business days if you pay them for rush processing. After you place an order and receive your confirmation email, you won't hear anything from them for months. When you finally reach out and get after them to do the work you paid for, NOW they'll tell you about how terribly backed up and understaffed they are, and that your order is projected to ship in a month. Keep in mind, you paid for rush processing and they sold you on a production time of 3 business days. Maybe it's because you ordered a super heavily modded controller? Nope, you ordered a basic airbrushed one that they already designed.
I'm sure they do fine work, but you'll likely never see it. Two month processing time in May WITH rush processing. Don't even think about ordering anything within 6 months of the holidays.
Communication is terrible.
Value is probably fine, but again, you'll never know.
Refunds are quickly processed when you finally give up on receiving your controller.

Controller chaos is the worst
Controller chaos is the worst , I bought a à GameCube controller and the one they sent me had a defective very hard to press Z button. i sent them the controller back and they said nothing was wrong and sent me the controller in the same state it was and tried to charge me money for repairing the issue that they didn’t fix at all and I had to pay a lot for shipping.The customer service was terrible I tried explaining the issue on the phone and it felt like they never played with a GameCube controller before. They didn’t test it in a game from what I understand. I’ve been playing smash for over 20 years this is by far the worst controller I’ve owned. I would go as far as call controller chaos a bunch of amateurs and scammers. Oh and the paint on it is peeling off and since the controller doesn’t work properly I haven’t been using it.it’s been gathering dust since.

I see many reviews on here complaining about the time to paint/create/ship, but in all honesty it is 100% worth it. Besides, the time it takes isn’t even that long! I got my controller in after a few weeks just as they said! While it did have a controller drift, CC gave me good advice to fix it and it wasn’t their fault at all! They responded to my question and gave me a straight answer with a detailed explanation. I HIGHLY recommend using CC for all your controller customization needs! This is my 2nd controller from them and I am absolutely in love! Don’t pay any mind to the negative reviews, they’re all about how long they had to wait for it. Overall, CC is a great business, has an AWESOME support team and they will give you an answer that will help you with any question or issue you may have!!!!!
It's been over 3 months, hasn't shipped.
It's been nearly 4 months since I ordered from here. Ordered on Jan 1, and it's now mid-April. My order is for a normal controller - no mods or anything special, just a colored shell. I have been emailing and asking since February why it hasn't shipped, and the response is always, "It is someone else's fault that it hasn't been dispatched but it will ship next week." Well that's been the case for months now, and still nothing.

First the customer service here is terrible they will ignore you if you try and get consistent updates with your order. I gave them a reasonable amount of time based off of what their timeline is from their website and then some more time before reaching out. I placed my order on February 22 and did not receive my order until April 8 all while having no update on what was going on. Once I finally received my order the button customizations I selected are not even the correct ones in accordance with the preview image on the website, and there’s sloppy white paint on the back. In addition to all this one of the buttons is recessed into the controller and instead of protruding like it should it is flush with the controller. When I order something at this price value I’m assuming the customer service and quality will be top tier however it was not.

I love it. I cheat to win and It makes me feel good. I know it’s pathetic to do with one of my favorite hobbies. Kinda like golfing with my buddies using corked clubs. But who cares. Once a pathetic cheater, always a pathetic cheater, right?

I ordered January 20th 2023, its March 11th 2023 and im still waiting for it to be finished. 3 weeks in a row I called and was told it will be shipped out the following week. I EVEN PAID FOR THE FAST SHIPPING OR BUILD! For about 4 years iv been debating on getting a controller from them I will NEVER do it again even if the controller actual comes

If you gave 4 or 5 star you're lying
Over 4 weeks. No update on the status of controller. Asked about what part of the process my order number was at and received nothing but excuses and no timetable.
When emailed repeatedly I found out my controller was 1-2+weeks untill it's sent. Not delivered but finally packaged. It's been over 4 weeks and I'm just now finding out it's going to be longer than advertised. I'm seeing reviews about product condition and quality and if it fits that standard I'll be sure to come back and share more about this wonderful experience

Disappointed
Start to finish was over a month I liked the hydro dip graphics on the controller but I ordered the hydro dip with blood smear which was an up charge I get it I agreed to it and I also understand I didn’t order the one in the picture but that served as a guideline that being said I liked the picture but in real life the blood looked like a 4 year old painted it very disappointing but as for the rest of the controller the color combination I ordered was spot on I also ordered the 9mm buttons which I’ve had on several controllers but this on (Xbox controller) there was a large difference in button height enough to where using the B button my finger often hits the A button first so just wanted to say as far as $200(almost) controllers go like the title says disappointed
8 weeks to receive bad paint quality
It took almost 2 months to receive my order. Had to email to ask about the delay and then they marked the order on hold for 2 weeks. When we finally got it, one of the controllers isn't painted in the crack so you can see the previous neon original controller color. Also, weird texture on a spot where it was sprayed badly. So disappointing! :(
Don't believe their turnaround times
Don't believe their advertised turnaround time. It took a little over 40 business days to receive my one controller. The controller was only custom painted from their options, no other changes. The "customer service" team blamed turnover and gave lists of excuses. Avoid this garbage like the plague or COVID, not worth the hassle.
