Bought a clock spring for an Audi with a 1 year guarantee, £218. When fitted was faulty as the horn did then work, however wiring on the unit then meant no other buttons on the steering column functioned, after 6 months stopped working altogether. Offered a 10% refund and told it was now out of warranty and to take it somewhere to be repaired. Absolutely fuming!! Avoid at all costs. If you paid by credit card you might be able to claim cost back.

Bought a rear seat cowl for a 2007 -2009 z1000. Absolute garbage its not even a bad fit its worse I had to ajust it just so it would locate the gaps are ridiculous first bit of air and it would pull clean off the bike. I'm honestly shocked this is even being sold I've emailed them and zero response luckily I payed through PayPal so should eventually get money back, DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE ,,,,, CHEAP NASTY CR*P

Brought a clock ring for a VW Sharan. Part was faulty. I emailed and was continuously asked to return to mechanic for more and more proof (pictures + videos) of it being faulty. After threatening with taking the case further and contacting trading standards I was offered a 40% compensation and full refund. I returned the product and had to pay for recorded delivery, first class. They received the product and then responded that they couldn't issue the refund due to the PayPal case I had opened against them!! 😡

Avoid this company at all cost!!

Purchased a front brake master cylinder for my motorcycle, it made a grinding noise when in use and would not build any pressure. Contacted customer service and sent a video as requested. They said it was the wrong part and was not faulty, refused to send a replacement.

This company is a scam you have been warned. My parcel was not delivered by evri and I contacted both evri and them to inform them it had not been delivered they both keep telling me to contact the other. The delivery picture wasn’t even my address it was next to a tree and a shoe box . It doesn’t take much intelligence to see that wasn’t a property or my product.
I am disappointed in this company customer service. It’s not the risk to take when ordering from them since if anything goes wrong with delivery or product they basically will send you round in circles. And never give your money back.

Ordered an item but it turned up faulty. It took 3 or 4 emails which included video as proof that their item was rubbish. After all of that, they said they'd agree to refund if I write a positive review???? Get your customer service sorted.

I don’t usually waste my time writing reviews but this company has been so poor that I don’t want someone else to have the issues I’ve had, reading the reviews I should of checked them prior to my order as clearly I am not the only one effected.
Ordered a rear reversing camera for my car, CA checked with my VRM and VIN number. I fitted the camera to find it doesn’t work and affects other parts of the cars electric system, such as display screen and heating controls. I was offered a 15% refund for the inconvenience and advised to take it to a mechanic. I have done this and they have confirmed the camera doesn’t work with the car, CA refuse to acknowledge this even with images to prove the issues and faults. They are refusing to provide a full refund but have advised they will give me another 15% refund and for me to keep the camera as a “spare” or to sell the camera privately.
I have disputed the charge with my credit card.

Rarely write reviews but appalled by Component Authority. Tried to return a product under the 14 day distance selling rules but was offered a 20% discount instead. I pressed for a fully refund and was given 20% refund. Rejected this but still refused to refund the full cost of the product.

This company is a waste of time

Placed an order for an oil stick. Had to chase several times as it did not arrive. Have never received it. I would not recommend this company.

This company is an absolute joke do no, repeat DO NOT trust them, took my money and then told me they have no stock and if I wanted the item I would have to pay more to ship it over but then it would take an additional 2-3weeks so I refused this and demanded a refund where I was told that would be issued within 3days and then again after the 3days saying it would be another 2weeks before the refund was issued and now no response atall! Scammers scammers scammers! Joke company

Site is selling used and damaged goods. Will do everything they can not to give a refund will offer all they can to not give a refund. I got my money back using tracked return and credit card dispute via bank. Best to spend the little extra and order from a more trusted site. This is just a Chinese drop shipping site who don’t care about you. I ordered some solenoids for a gearbox, they arrived damaged and used !!! Apparently they are A* grade used, but was damaged ?!?? Nothing wrong with the delivery, they posted them damaged. Save yourself the headache and just avoid them!

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.
I purchased clutch and brake reservoir covers for a BMW motorbike for approximately £18.00.
The items arrived but the brake cover was so badly damaged due to four screws being in the same packet as the cover, there were multiple dents and scratches all over the item. On a motorbike these reservoir covers are highly visable.
I sent CA an email including photographs requesting a replacement cover. Their answer NO. They said the functional integrity of the item had not been affected, and I should accept a few scratches and dents. After several emails they offered the following, "write a good review on Trustpilot and we shall refund part of the costs, I can keep the parts for stock".
I prefer to warn future customers how this company Component Authority operates / treats its customers, ZERO customer service, ZERO respect for the customer. There is a lot of choice out there, so find another company who respect the customer, and offer correct levels of customer service.

I ordered and received my part within a couple of days.
I found the website easy to use, the price was good and included free delivery.
All along, I was kept informed about the process and it duly arrived very quickly, well - packaged and labelled.

Part ordered and arrived in a few days. Excellent packaged and labelled. Part was a straight swap and easy to fit. Very easy to negotiate the website and would highly recommend.

Ordered an item and thought everything was sorted.
When i received no dispatch.email, i contacted them.
They came back and said I lived on a remote part of the country and would not be delivering the item. They asked me to provide them with an alternative address. Absolute shambles of a company

Delivery is very slow (and with EVRI). And then when the order (over £100 worth of parts) finally arrived, it wasn’t complete.

Don’t waste your time or money. Go elsewhere.

They advertised 3day delivery, acknowledged order and said they would inform when shipped so when no notification arrived I queried only to be told they had no stock, but if I waited they could supply, or I could cancel the order but no instructions as to how or when I would receive a refund.
Pay Pal issued a full immediate refund when I opened a case
Tread carefully folks price is not everything!

Not a trustworthy company. I bought an EV charger cable from them in August 2023. In June 2024 it blew up whilst charging my car and could have started a big fire. Luckily it didn't. I contacted CA to notify them of the issue and ask for a refund for the faulty product which was still well within the 12 Month warranty period. They tried to pin the blame on me for improper use!?! Despite having no evidence and me using it solely for charging my car.. which is what it's for! After much back and forth they offered to pay a maximum of 30% of an alternative product or to send me a new charger cable (which I've refused as I don't trust their products- oh and they said I'd have to pay for the £30 postage if I wanted them to send it). I rarely write review posts but I would steer clear of this company if you want peace of mind about the products you're buying from them.

I've now had a CCJ put against them. Terrible, unreputable company
