Avoid. Happy to take your money, keep you in the dark about deliveries, when you call it goes to someone’s mobile phone, not a call centre. Then out the blue you get a cheerful upbeat email saying “You will be pleased to hear our Christmas sale was such a success that it’s resulted in a back log and your sofa is going to be delayed by 4 more weeks”. Just take your money to a legitimate company not this shambles.

We needed a sofa bed for an area in the house to allow for guests to have somewhere to sleep when visiting. We found Cocoon online and felt that the way they had approached the mattress looked comfortable, whilst also not compromising on the sofa. We ordered the Charlotte Three Seater in Micro Weave Royal Blue, and we have found it to be excellent. It's the most comfortable sofa bed I have slept on (we added a mattress topper for extra comfort, when in bed mode. This topper can be stored in the sofa when in sofa mode) and we have had many compliments from guests who also found it to be very comfortable. It is also a very comfortable sofa - it's rare to find a sofabed that functions well as both, usually either the sofa or the bed is compromised, but not so with this Cocoon. We've had the sofa bed for 3 months now, and we use it often. It's very easy to open up to a bed, and put away again for a sofa. So happy with it in fact that last month we bought another one (went for Yellow this time) to go into the garden office, so that the office has a comfy area to sit, and will also provide another area for guests to sleep. The new one hasn't arrived yet, but we are expecting it to be as great as our other one. I do feel that they are good value for money, but worth pointing out that we bought both when in the sale. At time of writing, the sale is still on, so worth a look if you in the market for one.

I took the opportunity to book a virtual appointment to see the sofa beds online and most importantly how they worked. I live in Scotland therefore a visit to the showroom would be a challenge. The set up of a virtual appointment is ideal.

Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. I was able to stand in the room where the sofa bed will be located and staff gave me some options that would fit perfectly well. This helped me decide the sofa bed which will be a best fit for the room.

I called Cocoon for help with an unsightly stain on my 4 year old sofa bed. The MD himself contacted me via video chat and suggested a fix, which worked! Excellent service. I am also very pleased with the sofa bed which, unusually for sofa beds, is very comfortable and practical both as a sofa AND a bed.

Its august 24, i purchase this two seater it have not made 12 months but 6/month and problems i called customer service to highlight what's happening to the sofa bed, squeaking both left side and right side some time you think the spring will come out from where it sits, the backrest keep getting a line across when you opening after sleeping my weight is 180-lb not big and fat but slim,i called the company twice expecting someone to call me back am still waiting on this phone call the service is very poor,i paid £1800 for this... that's quite a lot of money for a 2 seater.
the accountant made sure to call for there money but to get a service from them is a pain in the butt.
will never recommend this to anyone to buy.

I initially found this sofa bed to be firm but comfortable for its function. However, after just a year of use, the structural design proved to be flawed—the wooden frame snapped at the edge of the metal hinge, making the bed completely unusable.

I reached out to Cocoon, providing my order number and noting that the product was still within warranty, but I have received no response whatsoever. A better customer service experience could have salvaged my opinion of this product, but as it stands, I cannot recommend it. Disappointing quality and lack of support.

I have had this sofa for since 2021. This is the second time I leave a review. As far as I can tell, my first review was removed. I cannot explain why. This is a honest review. I am not angry with them, but I simply wouldn't purchase this product again. I also wouldn't want to recommend to anyone. Why? It looks, good and it was very comfortable. However, after using the sofabed for a while the back rest completely bent and not it isn't comfortable to sleep on it anymore. When I asked to replace that part alone, I was given with a quote of around £400. This just isn't right. For something that cost that much I would expect it to last longer and REMAIN comfortable. It did not and the quality over time deteriorate hugely rendering the bed unfir for use.

Really comfy as a Sofa bed, but not great as a sofa, the bottom part where you sit is too long and you need to lean quite far back to reach the cushion (I'm 6"3 so very long legs) causing us huge back pain. Not worth the ridiculous price paid, we've had ours for 2 years and will have to replace soon.

From order to delivery the service was impeccable.

On the date you suggested we only requested a sample fabric swatch. I don’t know what you can say about that except - thank you it was fabric.

Amazing company to deal with. Very efficient, helpful, polite and patient. We had an order placed and due to personal circumstances we had to cancel the order before the sofa bed had gone into production. Laura was very understanding on the telephone and quickly processed a refund. Five star service …… a safe pair of hands …. Would highly recommend.

I ordered the wrong sized sofabed for my body size. Craig at Cocoon was brilliant, he suggested the sort I should look at. Cocoon would have made me one that was suitable and in the colour I wanted but on Craig's advice I looked at their store and found one. With in three weeks they swapped my sofa and I had a refund as new sofa was smaller. Brilliant service. Cannot fault them.

As advertised- the chair easily opens to a spacious single bed. The delivery was unevenful - came on time with plenty of notice and the two men delivered it to an upstairs room successfully without causing any damage. Very friendly and helpful.

Fantastic product, comfortable as a sofa or a bed. Even better customer service. I would highly recommend.

The member of staff we met at the showroom was friendly and fully conversant with the product range spending a lot of time explaining quality features, e.g. the stable, sprung base design, the range of arm widths and styles, available fabric types and colours. Several add-ons, e.g. bolsters foot stools with storage space were available enabling the sofa bed to be tailor made to suit personal requirements. Ordering was straight forward, delivery was prompt and we are extremely satisfied with the product and customer service

Bought the Harry Sofa, in Micro Weave in Stone Colour. It is HUGE which is just what I wanted. It looks great, very deep comfortable seat area. Quickly and easily turns into a bed which is very firm and comfortable.
Definitely NOT like an Ikea sofa as one reviewer left. True it has wood underneath and the draw inside has cardboard backing like Ikea but the depth and comfort of the Mattress/Seating Area is far superior. Trust me on that as I returned an Ikea sofa as it was too uncomfortable and thin cushioning to be able to sit on. No screwing hundreds of pieces together either.
Bad points.....The company relies on manufacturers making these sofas and delivery companies delivering them. I was promised on 2 orders, delivery and dates and times and both times they could not deliver. The last time was Christmas just past I was promised delivery which did not happen, and to say I wasn't happy would be an understatement. So I had to sit on rattan garden furniture over the holiday.
However the staff at Cocoon, Issac, Laura, their bosses and especially Craig in Customer service who was so funny and made me laugh so much, all went out of their way to help me. They even paid a different company at their expense to deliver to N.I asap (who also were unreliable with time keeping and refused to put the sofa together) and it arrived on the 3rd January. (again out of their control, they even offered them more money and they wouldn't help.) On that point you will NEED 2 people to fit this together. I'm 100% sure Cocoon try their best but life is not perfect and neither are humans. So bear that in mind if you need this is a hurry. But for the way they dealt with it and me I'm giving them 5 stars ***** and as a customer who ordered online without even seeing the sofa, have confidence that the sofa is just as advertised and is a great product so don't hesitate to order, and don't worry that they don't care because I do believe that they do.
I love the sofa and so far am very happy with it, so I would recommend 100 % as I say just be aware of the time it takes for delivery.

I placed my order well before Christmas and was assured I would receive it in time. Apparently there was an error in processing my order, and I was informed by the carrier that it would not be delivered in time. I complained by email to Cocoon and initially there was some degree of buck-passing. After a follow-up email, significant action was taken. Because of the error, and the initial reaction I would have given a rating of 2. The action taken after my 2nd complaint was outstandingly good and deserves a rating of 5+++++. The bed did, in fact, arrive before Christmas thanks to the supreme efforts of the Cocoon Logistics team, and the product itself is high quality and very comfortable so I have decided to give a top rating! Everyone can make mistakes, but the customer service error on the part of Cocoon was not to keep track of what was going on with the carrier when they realised there was a problem, and then not to take immediate action to sort it - perhaps they can learn from this as all other aspects of my contact with the sales people was excellent, and as I said earlier the product itself is very good

Awful customer service. Placed an order in October 2024. Delivery attempted in December 2024. The delivery was unsuccessful because the sofa arrived damaged. No attempt of contact from Cocoon to redeliver; they passed the responsibility/blame to the delivery company. The delivery company informed that sofa was returned to Cocoon in December and had received no further communication from cocoon. They haven't replied to emails or phone calls. To this day; no sofa or attempt to communicate with customers. Do not buy from here.
