We were naturally a little apprehensive switching from an existing provider to ClassForKids. Our onboarding experience with Jonny was faultless. He reassured us every step of the way, ensuring everything we needed was in place prior to the switch. Once we were set up and live, we saw immediate impact. Regular payments that were clear and easy to track, the knowledge base resources on hand to enhance our business have also been crucial. When we have had questions, the chat function and access to an expert has resolved our queries quickly. Finally,feedback from our parents has been nothing but positive, one even commenting of its ease of use in spite of the fact she is scared of technology. All in all one of best business decisions we have made to date. I couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

Very sneaky I used the service for my two child for tumble tots as this is what was recommended I paid for their clases and the memberships for the year the basket said one price I paid then extra money was taken out of my bank account abit of a joke!

I am a parent and used this site to find a suitable activity for my child. Great to locate classes. But the reason for the rating is that after cancelling my membership with the club 7 months ago, which the club accepted at the time. I am still being charged monthly.
... I noticed this during christmas period, have sent several emails, text messages and no response.
Class for kidz website has
1) No way for me to remove my card details
2) no customer support for parents. = it just says contact your club!!... well my club is not responding!
Really bad!

Worked great for the first year then went downhill. No customer support for our customers, no reply when we as admin contact customer support.
Total denial of any wrong doing and no willingness to help to try and solve the problem when they do get in touch.

As a business owner pls beware before signing up with Class for Kids.
Everything sounded perfect when going through the set up, platform fees explained as a once per month fee. I wasn’t however explained to about the huge amounts of money they would take on top.
I understand fully about integrating with stripe and extra charges however I wasn’t explained about the additional 4.7% that was taken. For 2 months I had over £600 taken by class for kids not including their monthly subscription fees,
When contacting them I was told that other users were only on 2.7% and mine should be 3.7% but yet 4.7% was taken and they should do me a deal if I explain I had come from another provider.
I emailed as their office contact number was out of use and the only way of contacting is via their website chat or e mail, I explained my concerns along with the fact I was promised 6 months half price subscription as was recommended and this hadn’t happened, they took the full price each month I was with them , I received an e mail which I wasn’t impressed with.
Firstly they took a day to reply to the e mail, which I wasn’t impressed with as if there was a problem with the system, a day to wait is too long. Further more the reply was more or less confirming that’s fine you’re unhappy we can cancel your subscription for you but if you’d like to speak with us then maybe a phone call better.
I responded with well actually yes I would prefer to speak with someone as cannot wait for a whole day to reply to an e mail , They didn’t respond and didint phone.
I cancelled all of my customers and told them to pay me direct in to account I then e mailed confirmation to class for kids that I’d like my subscriptions cancelled. They sent me the links back to go through .
I followed the instructions on the links , entered my business details etc so it could be cancelled. That was last month.
This month I’ve had a customer contact who was new and went through them to say her money had been taken , and again we’ve had £35 taken for the month for both my businesses as had 2 signed up.
So after multiple emails of not being happy, they choose to ignore and still take your money!
I’ve never known anything like it. The customer service doesn’t exist and I really don’t know how they have continued to run! They advertise how they can grow your business yet take a massive chunk of your profits.
I was with Class Manager and couldn’t fault them other than they didn’t cater for subscriptions. I’ve since moved to Pebble who have been great.
Class for Kids are the most expensive I’ve come across and do not care about their customers once they’re signed up!
As a business owner using Class 4 Kids for the first time, I find it extremely clunky, and not user friendly at all. But that's not the only issue.
I have an issue where my customers are struggling to set up a payment plan.
I have sent this through on the website 4 times (as you can't find a number to call) and NOBODY has come back to me, 6 days
There is no way you can find anybody to help, you simply have to keep logging an incident on their online portal
I've called the The Access Group (Class for Kids is an Access Company), but they don't even seem to know that this company is part of the group.
I am now going to find out who the owners are and try to contact them via LinkedIn, as I don't know where else to turn
** UPDATE **
Following the posting of this review I had a telephone call from the Head of Customer Success & Support who assured me that she would sort everything out and keep in contact with me. It all sounded very positive and encouraging.
It was all just talk and bluster, promises made and promises broken.
I've left several messages on the telephone number she gave me - no response. I've emailed her directly - initially I had responses (after a couple of chases) now I'm being completely ghosted!
I really don't know what to do anymore.
Just hoping that nobody else spends their hard earned money committing to this platform as it's not worth the money!
Having an on-demand team to help with any problem who responds quickly and professionally is what I like about the service the most.
The software is very simple to use and helps me run my tennis club programme.
Avoid this company like the plague. Use any other means possible to pay your club, and if the club use Class4Kids then beg them to use another method or you will regret it.
I signed up to pay £40 per month for my club and on checking my bank statement they had taken THREE x £40 payments instead of one. I contacted them and politely asked them to refund as its obviously an error - they could see on my account with them that I'd only agreed to pay £40 a month - yet they flat out refused to refund me and blamed the club. The club have nothing to do with this, they set up the payments at £40 a month and that's what I signed up to. Its the rubbish Class4Kids that have messed up and taken three payments, yet they couldn't care less as they have my money and won't refund it. I'm off to speak to my bank now to raise a dispute as that's the only way I'll get it back. You have been warned.
Booked a few sports classes through them. Great and easy to use. Clear communication about location/requirements for classes. Would recommend.
Wow it was a splendid experience for my Kids
I am writing this as a parent who used this site & if any parents read this, please consider it before agreeing to use Class4Kids.
Firstly, if you decide to book through Class4Kids please be aware you are pretty much signing all control over to the class teacher.
If you want to cancel, you cannot do anything about it through your account. You have to contact the teacher/organiser & hope that they cancel the subscription before the next payment is due. If they don't you'll be out if pocket & will either have to hope for a refund or report an unauthorised payment on your card.
The site has a inaccurately named 'Manage Monthly Payments' page but you can't 'manage' anything there, you can just see the payments & card you're using. You cannot cancel the subscription & you cannot remove your card so it cannot be charged.
You also cannot go to the bank (in the UK) & cancel the payment, as it classes it as authorised as you've willingly given them your card details. You can, however, report an unauthorised payment, as aforementioned, to hopefully get a refund but that is only after the money has already been taken.
Currently having issues with a dance teacher who I've now sent 3 messages to, 2 emails & 1 DM on Facebook, about cancelling my daughter's classes due to an injury. Yet, she appears to be completely ignoring me with no reply. I know she has used her email & social media accounts from other general communications so I do not believe she hasn't seen my messages. Also she was quick enough to respond to messages when I was enquiring about joining & signing up.
Payment will be coming off soon & I am helpless to do anything about it as it is completely up to her.
I know from a friend that she has a history of not cancelling on time (unfortunately I didn't find this out until after we'd signed up).
I have had issues with another dance teacher not refunding money & cancelling the subscriptions until I threatened her with going higher up to report her. The ridiculous thing is that she fell out with me & kicked my kid out of her class, so shouldn't have needed prompting to do it - she should have done it as soon as she made her rather unprofessional decision.
So yes this site might be great for teachers but it is not good for parents/caregivers because once you sign up, you have little control. Once this current issue has been sorted, I'll be deleting my Class4Kids account & will refuse to use again.
We run a kids musical theatre school and for the last 5 years we had the lengthy hugely time consuming and manual job of working between Excel, Email and Wufoo to try and keep everything under control, which was impossible and took days every month to reconcile, and we almost always had ommissions or gaps. This semester we used our Class For Kids system for the first time - ABSOLUTE GAME CHANGER! You can tell it has been created by experienced teachers who have faced every scenario - it's layout and user experience is fantastic, you can use your registration to track everything, from personalised invoice requests so people can't say they never received them ;) to instant balance updates, a one stop shop for birthdays, medical info and a very easy communications tool. It reduced our admin by days, literally - it took us 20 mins to do what would take days to do before. We can't thank the team enough - Jonny was a massive help in getting us started and !

Couldn't be happier with Class for Kids. Support is excellent and the software has enabled me to launch and grow from day 1 without having to worry about chasing payments all the time. The auto renew and re-run term elements make it so easy.
Class For Kids has really helped our club from a financial and Administration point of view. The system has reduced our missing membership payments by 90% per year, which has saved our club around £12k per year.
Administration time has reduced by 70% do to the ease of the system. The system ensures we have all the information we need accessible with a few clicks, such as parent detail's, emergency contacts, medical information, payment details.
