I purchased what looked like a knitted ladies cardigan through a facebook advertisement from this company thinking that it was based in Birmingham , England. I ordered on the 7th of December 2025 8-12 days delivery. it turned up 23 days later.
It was made of a printed polyester material and not knitted at all as shown in the image. it was reduced from £80 to £39. You’d getter better quality in Primark for £10 . It was truly bad quality and nothing like the image advertised.
I emailed the company with no response and albeit they have a returns policy there is no way of doing so as they don’t provide an address or return label.
The one saving grace is , that if we ever go to war with china , their rockets and bombs and tanks are probably made of f***g cardboard !!

I wouldn’t even give them one star! I ordered a checked jumpsuit that I had seen advertised on facebook, no checks, the belt was such poor quality it made me laugh, raw edges inside the garment! I could have made this jumpsuit better myself and I can’t sew.
And obviously no reply when emailed about a refund, no address recognized. I have learned my lesson never to order from someone that advertises on facebook. Keep to what you know

Do not buy from this company. Also trading under Clara and Rose - Birmingham. They don’t reply to emails and so far there is no way to return anything.

Absolute scam ordered chunky knit cardigan and received polyester printed cardigan! Not able to return as won’t give me address to return item to !

Dreadful, scammers, DO NOT USE THEM. Bought a 'coat ' for £50 received a cheap, shiny track suit top. They will not give me a return address and say I have to pay to ship it to China. As advised, I have opened a dispute with my bank for a refund.

This is a complete scam I ordered two dresses one bears no resemblance to the picture it is not even hemmed and the material smells. The other is just cheap looking. Tried to return. They said it had to be sent back to china at my expense. Couldn’t even give these to charity the police should investigate this company

This is a scam. The company lied to me about delivery times. The items were shipped from China only once they had taken my money and then took ages to arrive. They sent fake style emails about local delivery claiming it would be Yodel - it was not - it was simply posted. All items are extremely poor quality and bear NO relation to actual sizes ordered. They then threatened me with no refund if the items had been opened! What how are you supposed to know something does not fit unless you can open it. They are trying to get me to pay the return postage. This has NOTHING to do with a mother and daughter outfit. It is totally FAKE. Do not use!

Absolutely shocking! Terrible quality - a total scam

Do NOT buy from this company - EVER! Everything bad that everyone has said about them is true. In my case I wrote to them before purchasing to ask if the garment was lined. They replied saying all of their jackets were fully lined, so I bought one.

It arrived weeks late and was too small (even though I had ordered a size larger than normal) made of cheap material and was NOT lined! The hood was ridiculous and when I put it over my head, it fell down to my chest. I immediately asked for a refund. They agreed to that, provided I sent a photograph of the UNOPENED parcel. How absurd!

Suffice to say I have had endless, platitudinous emails in response to everything I have said. It goes around and round in circles. They refuse to fully refund unless the garment is returned to China at a cost of £26.50 and they refuse to pay the return postage even after my sending them a copy of The Consumer Rights Act which clearly states that the seller is liable to pay all return costs if the item is faulty or not as described.

Today I contacted the fraud department of my bank and they have upheld my complaint and have opened a dispute with Clara and Rose Boutique’s bank. The money has been refunded to me through my bank and the matter is now in their hands.

I urge everyone who has been scammed by this company to do the same. I just wish there was some way I could alert Facebook to this fraudulent company so that FB no longer allowed Clara and Rose to advertise.

Report them. They have done the same to me and worse. They have no right to do this to innocent consumers who buy in good faith.

Very poor quality product received which looked nothing like the photo in the advert. I ordered a jumpsuit off Facebook, having been taken in by the supposed family story, which I now don’t believe. I’m advised to return the item to China which no doubt will cost more than the item cost…& I can’t find the returns address anyway as the link says page not found.

SCAM SCAMSCAM, From China, they have just changed there name again to Rose & James. Clothing doesn't fit, terrible quality and I have to pay to send back to China which is not feasible, so I'm stuck out of pocket £100, please don't make the same mistake as I did :-(

This store is a scam.
I strongly advise against purchasing from Clara & Rose Boutique. Their website presents them as a London-based boutique, but in reality, the products are shipped from China, and returns must be sent there at your own expense – something never disclosed before purchase.
The items I received were of extremely poor quality, completely different from the photos, and sold at UK-level prices. When I requested a refund under their advertised 30 Days Money Back Guarantee, I was met with generic responses, no clear return instructions, and offers of only 10–20% refunds if I kept the items. This is misleading and unacceptable.
Their entire online image and description are fake and deceptive, designed to make customers believe they are supporting a small UK business. I feel scammed, pages like this should be banned – it is disgusting how they mislead customers

Quality of product appalling, "Customer Services" do nothing but give you the run around. No way to return without paying shipping to China even considering the product had a hole in when it arrived. They are acting fraudulently. Will persist to chase but do not understand how someone is allowed to trade on this basis. You'll eventually get a message from 'Clara' in an attempt to make you feel special and like something is happening, its more like 'Sweatshop John' masquerading as someone credible and doing nothing.

Do not order off this website. The clothes are terrible quality and I cannot get anyone to answer my question about where I send the clothes back too. And the website keeps saying it’s work in progress.

Avoid this company. Very poor quality clothes, not as advertised. Was not possible to contact the company to request return as they have disappeared from their website / email address “page not found” etc. items took 6 weeks to arrive and upon delivery very poor quality, not worth the money, and one jumper ordered in XL was tiny.

Two items of clothing delivered poor quality, poor fit. Requested a form to return goods, three emails sent still no reply.

The website gives the impression of being a well established UK based womens clothing company. The dress I ordered was described as cotton blend. The dress that arrived was 95% polyester 5% spandex. Then you find out that a refund will only be effected after the product is returned to China.
