5 years loyalty, no claims but Churchill won’t renew
Been a loyal customer for the past 5 years. Have just received a letter notifying me that they are sorry but they can’t continue with our home insurance policy which expires 25th October. However, they are pleased to say we haven’t made any claims in the last 5 years so don’t understand why they have cancelled us with no explanation. Customer service non existent!

Missing any customer service?
By now I’ve not received a renewal & nothing online. I’ve got several competitor quotes & I’m at home this week so I’m keen to finalise it.
Tried to contact Churchill & AI couldn’t understand me. Finally in a queue & after a wait i was about to be answered BUT call just dropped.
Tried online “help”, totally unhelpful - system generated blah, blah, blah. I explained I’m going away & would like to finalise this week. Was unhelpfully told I’d receive it after I left.
How difficult can this be???

The worst insurance company i have ever…
The worst insurance company i have ever encountered in over 50yrs of driving no customer service, no communication - they just hope you give up and go away. The complaint i raised was dealt with weeks before the actual claim, which they finally advised today 4months later they have closed, not actually paying me as a result of their mistake. I strongly advise you to go elsewhere…..

Excellent service at a value for money price
I was unfortunate to be involved in an accident where my vehicle was damaged beyond repair. Processing the claim was dealt with courteously, efficiently and informatively in every aspect: online, claims personnel, engineers and motor repair centre. What was promised was delivered speedily. I bought a replacement vehicle and had no hesitation in insuring this with Churchill: the person who arranged the insurance for the new vehicle was as positive and helpful as the claims and engineering personnel had been. Of course, not everything was perfect, but Churchill far exceeded my expectations and were very, very good. Therefore I have no hesitation in giving a 5 star rating.

This company needs to make great improvements to their customer service provision.
In my experience they very rarely answer the phone.
It’s very difficult to speak to anyone.

My car was damaged by hit and run
My car was damaged by hit and run. The engineer assessed it by looking at pictures while on the phone. He tried to say the lights were not working. I told him it was structural damage, i had checked the lights but he insisted it was to be written off. Other people looked at the car and clearly noted iy as structural I am self employed, so had to take a hire car of which I pay for Guaranteed hire plus as part of the policy. After 5 working days they taking the hire car back, leaving me with no car and go get another car ASAP. They saying if the car is written off, and payment accepted 21 working days does not apply, it's 5 days. What I want to know, is how do you assess a car using photos and assess its not road worthy? Why the policy is misleading saying 21 days hire car? Once you get the money, how easy is it to buy another car in 5 days?
