Excellent shopping experience. Due to a mix up with Fairfax and Favor they dispatched 2 pairs of boots to Chelford Farm Supplies for me to try at my request. Communication was good and the service great - I managed to get my correct sizing after being able to compare both sporting and regular. The shop has a fantastic range too of Fairfax items but they didn't specifically stock the shearling lined at this time so it was a special request which was accommodated in consultation with Fairfax customer service. Later, another family member who had come with me also spotted a pair of Fairfax boots she really liked which they happened to have in stock and we purchased today - again excellent service and help in store. Great range and fairly local too. Have used this store in the past but can highly recommend.

I needed a stihl leaf blower repairing as it was not starting. Instant reply once I informed them was, oh, it needs a new carburettor, even without any inspection. I gave them the blower and all contact details. After nearly two weeks of hearing nothing, I went back to collect it as I presumed nothing had been done. The work had been carried out (new carburettor) at a cost of just over £93.00 plus VAT. As I had not been contacted over the cost. I refused to pay so the old parts were put back. I pay a minimum charge of £20 + VAT.
The service I received was to put it bluntly shocking, and disappointing.
I then took the same stihl leaf blower to another company in Leek, less than one week later. The blower was serviced a retune of the carburettor and all working for just over £30.00.

Chelford Farm Supplies, you need to rethink your service policy. Stop trying to sell new products when there’s actually nothing wrong with the old.

So u know what is actually in stock. Or coming in stock. Or quantity In stock.

As driving over 20 miles to collect items you have paid for. And need in an emergency. To be told isn't in stock.

Then a big job like agricultural fencing. I spent £300 on posts for emergency fencing. I know its not the end of the world.

But now all my posts are different sizes/lengths/widths and it looks a mess.

If it continues to happen I will be shopping elsewhere.

As this is on 3 orders now similar has happened.

The first time i had an issue over an order, i was informed before hand by phone straight away. So I chose items matching instead.

The last 2 orders when collecting after paying.

I was told by them, Half my order was given to another customer that morning due to me not collecting straightaway they said.

( I collected as soon as I could - I ordered Saturday afternoon - was going to collect the next day as i was working - which I then found out were closed sunday- so I collected at 10am Monday... and they told me my order had been given to another customer that morning due to me not picking up Saturday! )

I think this is not good. And needs to be addressed.

We are currently in the process of doing all boundaries to the land so I have been and will be spending thousands of pounds. But my business is close to going elsewhere due to issues stated above.

In future I may do what I did before click amd collect. and go to the shop and buy whilst I'm there, rather than using website. As I like the quality of materials and staff friendly

From the moment I spoke to them, to when my parcel arrived, they have been brilliant. I needed a fence energiser urgently and though the delivery was Monday or Tuesday, it arrived next day, so clearly they had listened to my plea and dispatched it straight away. Thank you

Lovely service from a young lady called Daisy. We arrived only 15 minutes before closing time on a Saturday, (didn't realise they shut at 4pm), but were still warmly greeted. The Hunter wellies I wanted didn't fit, but Daisy recommended Ariat Burford, she said they were very comfortable to walk long distances in and warm due to the neoprene lining, just what I needed for river and beach walking in Ireland. She was right, they look good and I had a great 2 hour beach walk with very happy feet. Thank you Daisy for your recommendation and fabulous help.

Found a pair of Barbour shoes £48 cheaper than high street. Ordered at 9.30 on Saturday, received shoes at 10.30 on Sunday. Highly recommended

My daughter has just started her first year at Reaseheath so called into chelford for boots & overalls etc .. customer service was excellent really helpful friendly staff ….Also recommended a few local farms for her to try for work experience which is part of her course so very much appreciated… Thankyou we will definitely be purchasing again .

Excellent range of equestrian ware; items arrived as expected; was updated (via email) and refunded for one item not yet in stock.

This was explained in a hand written note along with an apology, that arrived with my delivery.

Very good customer service - id definitely use this company In the future and would recommend.

Chelford Farm Supplies what a bunch of muppets can't even deliver a pair of safety boots avoid at all costs. I try to support local businesses but I have had enough of crap service from local companies so that's it from now on the big boys get the work.

Ordered my item and it was delivered next day by dpd. There was also a little extra treat in there for my horse...happy days.

Excellent service, bought a Husqvarna accessory on the Friday, delivered next day, Saturday by courier (DPD, who give regular delivery updates and a time slot) before 10am (at no extra cost, it was free P&P as well), helpful staff, especially Ben who sorted out the item and got it away so quickly, obviously a busy store but took the time to deal with my purchase and order. Recommended, especially if buying via the website.

Can't recommend this company enough, lovely staff and delivery is so quick , my daughter loves all her le mieux bits thankyou so much

Excellent Service. Boots bought Saturday before mother's day and up pops a txt saying the delivery was due today ( 1 day ).

Awful shopping experience all round.
Damaged order which I had to return myself after hours of answering questions and paying up front myself for an order which arrived in a terrible condition.
Customer service attitude was appalling.
Will never ever shop here again and advise anyone else to avoid.

I learned more about wormers in 5 minutes on the phone with John Richardson of Chelford Farm Supplies than I have in the 9 years of animal care! What a knowledgeable, experienced and friendly guy and happy to pass on his knowledge too. Thank you John very much not only have you re-educated me in the art of worming, fluking and de-miting but you have saved me money too! 5 star service

Really really disappointed with the service and goods that I have recieved from Chelford. I ordered a VERY expensive pair of Dublin River knee high boots and one of the laces was badly frayed, and because I had already worn them for two minutes in the garden before I discovered, they would not do anything about exchanging them. VERY poor, and all I got was a measly £10 back, not much compensation on a £126 pair of boots. I am appalled that there is not kind of guarantee on their high priced wear. Please do not order from this company.

Used this company for the last few years for animal feeds and equipment for my smallholding. The staff always go the extra mile to be helpful.
