Daniella was very welcoming and our experience was amazing! Picked us up from our ship port so we didn’t have to get a cab. Informative in our tour answering our many questions in the market. Purchased fresh ingredients for our cooking experience. Her home was inviting and conducive for cooking. She set a beautiful table for our eating. Received recipes. Highly recommend this experience!

My daughter and I had a cooking class with Patrizia yesterday and she is absolutely amazing!!! From the moment we arrived at her home in Bellano she was welcoming, friendly, informative, and helpful. She even did our class gluten-free which was a blessing. There was attention to detail in every step!!! We ate our wonderful dinner in her backyard overlooking the lake and the mountains, including fresh flowers at our table. It was a 10+ experience.

This was a very unique experience during two weeks of touring Italy. Having a meal prepared with a local, and with the local's family, was special, and for most of us the highlight of the 2 weeks. Our group of five were all family, having dinner with a family of four in their home.

We had a cooking class in Bologna with Rosa Lucente. Having done many tours and cooking classes, our experience with Rosa will forever be our most memorable and cherished experience by far! She is an amazing cook and teacher. We learned so much. And I come from a family of italian cooks! We made pasta and filled it with the wonderful flavors. One of dishes we made was a ravioli filled with shrimp. Rosa added a simple tomato sauce and the dish was off the hook! The cooking experience was so fun and educational, but the time we spent with Rosa was priceless. She is a truly beautiful woman with a genuinely kind spirit. We fell in love with her. I highly recommend taking a class with her. You won't be the same after. Rosa, if you're seeing this, Grazie Mille! Ti vogliamo bene!! Susana & Marco

They are unbelievably unfair to the ladies that actually do the classes. They keep more than 60% of whatever you pay.

Moreover, Irene (from Cesarine) was incredibly disrespectful to one of the ladies that does the classes.

It seems they only survive thanks to the incessant ad campaigns and fake online reviews.

Oriane made it an incredible experience . She is a wonderfull person, very kind, with a lot of generousity and really a top host, spoiled us with a lot of antipasti, wine and home made food. She learned us the secrets of making tortelloni, tagliatelle, tiramisu … all of this in the wonderfull appartement of her family. Thank you so much for this beautifull gift for the 30th birthday of our daughter and also of her husband ! They loved it and we too! Mascia was lovely! The food was terrific and the whole experience was a great way to start our group's Umbria vacation. Her carbonara is amazing.

If we could give this experience 10/10 stars, we absolutely would. From start to finish, this was one of the highlights of our entire trip to Italy. We took a quick 5-minute train from Varenna to Bellano for the class, and Patrizia made everything seamless by providing multiple taxi recommendations that were easy to contact and book. Our driver, Luca, was incredibly kind and accommodating, making getting to and from the class stress-free.

The moment we arrived, Patrizia and her husband welcomed us into their beautiful home like family. It was such a cold and rainy day, but they made everything feel so warm and cozy with a fire going and even slippers for us to wear. Within minutes, we felt completely at home.

We were joined by another small group, and the five of us quickly became friends while cooking together. Patrizia and her husband were so patient, fun, and passionate while teaching us their family recipes and cooking techniques. Beyond the cooking itself, they shared so much about their backgrounds, the local culture, and life in Italy, which made the experience feel even more special and personal.

And the food… absolutely unforgettable. Everything we made was beyond delicious, and there was something so special about preparing it all together from scratch. We were already talking about recreating the recipes back home in the States for our family and friends. They made sure we had everything we needed the entire time, drinks, ingredients, guidance, and such genuine hospitality.

By the end of the night, we were sad for it to be over (and sad there wasn’t more food left because it was THAT good). This experience was worth every single penny, and we would do it again in a heartbeat. HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend this cooking class to anyone visiting the Lake Como area. Thank you for such an unforgettable experience!

Great experience - can’t recommend highly enough

Marco made us feel immediately like at home. We were greeted warm-heartedly and got to know each other very quickly. Marco was explaining all steps from making pasta dough to preparing tiramisu very well and with great detail. He showed us neat tips and what makes the italian cuisine authentic. We made cacio e pepe and tiramisu ourselves and were additionally surprised with two traditional roman dishes. During theevening, we drank prosecco and tasty wine accompanying the food. Marco is really a great host and teacher when it comes to cooking. We had a great time and laughed a lot. I am sure, we will be able to cook the dishes ourselves at home, even though they won't taste as good as when we were there!

The food/ cheese was great! And although we had a great time our expectations were different. In the description it says: cooking class. We did make the tiramisu ourselves, but our lovely host cooked the rest. So we didn't actually learn anything, we just had a nice time with great food.

I bought this course for my dad's birthday and they were amazed. Perfect program near lake Como.
