Lies on top of lies..

Lies on top of lies..
My 3 year old washer died..multiple calls to Centricity & I was told I would receive a $50 gift to compensate laundry visits..
I even received an email but NEVER received a dime..
Only reason the situation with the washer was resolved because the store where I purchased it, Grand Appliance, stepped in & said enough is enough & offered a full store credit for the purchase price..
Centricity does look at these reviews because shortly after I posted 1st review about the situation, I received a call from them...
I want my $50....

Update:Centricity replied but I have no idea what info they're asking for..no one has ever asked for it...again, lies...
Months ago, I received an email saying the $50 in form of a Visa card was being shipped to me...HA!
I still have the email & nowhere does it ask for any info, nor did the rep who offered it to me ask for any...Centricity jerked me around for weeks which is why the rep offered me this..
If whoever wrote the reply from Centricity had identified themselves, I'd happily forward the email to them....

Again, there is no info on who to forward the email too...
I called Centricity NUMEROUS times & during one of those calls, the reimbursement was offered to me....perhaps you can look in the notes for my case & see my info there..
I'm certainly not putting my phone # on a public site..
Again, your company is not trustworthy & this is why you're being dropped by stores..

Sharp

I have been waiting for my Sharp refrigerator to be repaired since January. Same story each time I call. I cannot even count the times I have contacted them. They say they have to contact the service center and will call me back. Almost never to hear back. Now they gave me the service center number to call myself. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I also work in retail selling this product which I now will never sell again. I left out a lot of details but 8 months waiting for a fridge to be repaired really tells the story. This fridge was less than a year old when This started.

DO NOT PURCHASE THEIR…

DO NOT PURCHASE THEIR WARRANTIES....EVER! We purchased a open box fridge 2 years ago along with a Centricity extended warranty. It stopped working last Thursday early morning. They had a technician come out who looked at it and then left. I reached out to folllw up on the fridge to see where we are at with a repair or replacement, they said they were still working on it. I called back a couple of days later and they said the fix was a major malfunction but according to them LG would fix it so they connected me to LG. I spoke with LG and gave them the serial number of the fridge and they told me it wasn't a covered serial number. I called Centricity back to let them know and the guy insisted for me to take it up with LG. I then asked for a supervisor and he hung up on me. I called back again and got a different guy with a bunch of dogs barking in the background and explained the same thing to him and he told me to call LG as well. I told him that I bought the warranty from Centricity not LG and that he should contact LG because the serial number is not valid for warranty that is exactly what LG told me. He kept trying to repeat the same thing to contact LG and I told him how about I call them on 3 way so you can hear exactly what they told me he then said that wouldnt do any good because he needs a letter of denial as well now. Nothing but a run around just so they dont need to do any work and not pay to fix or replace the item. Pure scam and unprofessionalism I would never reccomend. UPDATE 9/2/2025... NOTHING YET. Just the run around between Centricity and B&B Appliance.

Wow, AVOID warranties with Centricity

Wow -- AVOID purchasing an appliance warranty from this outfit, I'd give ZERO stars if I could. Warranty, maybe (after almost three weeks, I have yet to find out if they'll make good on it). Service... most definitely not, after spending many, many hours on the phone trying to figure out where my service order is in process over two weeks after calling for a repair. They are so bad, the local appliance retailer from whom I bought two appliances and extended warranties with Centricity (a.k.a. Epic Protect) told me it didn't take them long to sever their contract because the service was so terrible. The phone maze tells me immediately, every time, that the status of my service order is unknown (update: one month later, same thing). Centricity folks on the phone are nice enough, but they are never able to reach anyone at the service center to find out what the status is. They never call back, after they promise they will after they find out more. They don't say what the appliance store told me: the mechanic said the part could possibly take a week at the most, but in reality, Centricity won't even begin giving me answers or working on it until two weeks after the order. 2-weeks after the service guy took five minutes to tell me my 13-month old washer needed one part, I'm on a string of interminably long holds with the same run-around... can't reach anyone at the Whirlpool service center, and anyone I reach can't say, doesn't know, will call me back (they never have). When I press them, they all say the service center works odd hours and they never know when they'll be able to reach someone there (in the era of cell phones). It feels like they just put me on hold to take other calls, then come back occasionally and give excuses, then put me on hold again. They have given me the number for the Whirlpool Service Center several times so that I can do their job for them, but I can't make it through their maze -- I get rejected because my warranty is with a third party, not with them. A couple of times, the Centricity folks have warned me as much, that I won't get through (but give me the number anyway... to appease but not solve the issue?). I'm pissed off enough while I continue to sit on hold to write a review.

ADDITION, ONE MONTH AFTER REPAIR VISIT: still nothing. The part for a one-year old washer is back-ordered, indefinitely. I have no offer to do better or information about other options. I contacted another repair person, described the make/model and problem -- the Whirlpool washer motor runs without initiating a wash cycle -- and they said not an issue, they could fix it in no time. Centricity says that would void my warranty contract (which at this point seems somewhat useless, so I'm tempted to do it anyway). The warranty should reimburse me for time and costs of all the trips to the laundromat.

Filed claim for my TV not turning on

Filed claim for my TV not turning on, the morning of 7/18. As of 8/20 there is still NO RESOLUTION. I've called 30 times in 30 days and have been told anything from they assigned my repair to a Service Provider 2500+ miles from where I live to a company that went out of business in 2022, to the parts are on order from Samsung, tothey aren't going to repair it, instead they're going to provide a buy out or store credit. Thier stall tactics are mostly time delays. "I've passed this to my team, it'll be within 48 hrs" or someone will call you within 72 hours. That has been going on for 30 days now. This morning (8/20 Wednesday) I was told it was passed to "my team" and was given a time-line of 7-10 days. Monday I was told 24-48 hrs and the past Thursday I was told no more than 72 hrs. I believe it's time to file a claim in the courts. Breach of contract, fraud and just being a shi_t company comes to mind. I guess it's sadly typical of Warranty Companies these days.

DO NOT BUY. THEY DON'T RESPOND AND THEY WILL GHOST YOU

If you're considering buying the RazerCare Elite Mouse warranty, DONT, as Centricity, the company handling my warranty, has done the worst job imaginable. I made my claim over 2 months ago, and what I thought would be a simple I ship my mouse and they give me a new one back, since this is what the warranty says it will cover, has turned into what seems to me like a full-on ghost from the company. I have done many reports, and I even got a text back from Centricity saying my claim has been escalated to a "team of specialists" after about a month and a half of waiting for a simple replacement. It's been 2 weeks now, and I've heard nothing from these supposed "specialists". After reading some of the reviews on this site, it seems many people have had a similar experience, and I also noticed that, for whatever reason, they respond faster to these reviews than they ever do to any of the claims that people have made. I never make reviews, but it was for this exact reason that I decided to write one. This genuinely feels like a scam. Do not buy.

If I could give zero stars

If I could give zero stars, I would. Customer service with Centricity is extremely poor, and the wait time for service is unacceptable — over 15 days just for a tentative appointment. No one follows up within the promised 24–48 hours. Avoid purchasing extended warranties from any appliance store. This was my first time purchasing extended warranty from Big George’s— and definitely my last.
