Det började med att vi fick vänta på upphämtning i två timmar!? När hämtningen äntligen dök upp så var den bilen full och föraren lovade oss en ny transport inom 10 minuter, det tog 30 minuter. Bilen som hämtade oss hade trasiga säkerhetsbälten!? Allt kändes osäkert och oseriöst.
Vid hämtning av bilen så tog jag fotografier av skador på bilen precis som jag brukar, tyvärr så missade jag en liten liten repa på en backspegel. Vid återlämnade så var personalen väldigt noga med besiktningen av bilen och dom hittade en liten repa som jag tyvärr inte hade tagit ett foto på. Jag har haft bilen stående i ett parkeringsgarage och vi har tagit en biltur helt utan missöden eller skador. Vi är alltid försiktiga och tar hand väl hand om hyrbilar. Dom debiterade mig 190€ för den skadan!? Se själv på bilden, denna lilla repa fyller man med ett lackstift och en snabb polering, den kostar inte 190€ att laga! Rent bedrägeri för att lura folk på pengar i min mening. Bilen var full av skador och repor överallt. Akta er väldigt noga för det här oseriösa företaget!!! OM ni beslutar er för att hyra bil här så var extremt noga med att ta bilder och filma hela bilen innan ni åker därifrån. Jag har aldrig varit med om att något annat hyrföretag lägger ner en massa tid på att hitta småskador för att kunna debitera extra, dom brukar bara fråga om allt gått bra och om det tillkommit skador.
Jag kommer definitivt aldrig att hyra här igen och jag rekommenderar att inte du heller gör det. Det finns många fler företag.

Centauro Athens Intl airport was great, the only thing you must know is to wait for the agent at gate B' they don't look after you in other gates.
After I found the agent everything went wonderful, less than 10 minutes ride to the office with the minibus, excellent new car, very clean, very polite service, and the price was unbeatable!!

Prebooked a car with Centauro Athens airport. Price very reasonable. Picked up at airport no problem. in the office when trying to collect the car, the agent insisted on us purchasing extra insurance at 27 Euro per day ( total cost 378 for a fortnight). We already have such insurance as an extra on our annual travel policy. Told us the system was down and couldn't process the booking unless we paid for the extra insurance. Bizarre that couldn't process the booking but could process the purchase of extra insurance!!!
Told us system may be back in 5 mins, 5 hours or a day. We cancelled and went across the road to alternative provider. Some customers were paying the extra and then others joined us in walking across the road to book with Auto Union. Much better all round, good service and nice clean car.

Good car with no issues. Rented from Athens airport. Booked through holiday autos for £55 for 10 days... Super cheap BUT... Expect the hard sell for the excess insurance etc.. hardly surprising at this price... I had excess insurance bought in the UK for around £60 for a year so was happy to ignore all the hard sales from the very pushy bloke... He wouldnt back off despite me refusing many times the 270 euro excess insurance. The car had damage above other than that stated on the contract but they refused to note it on the contract; just told us to take photos... We took photos of EVERYTHING, including interior, the smallest scratches, wheels, range on the odometer etc etc etc... about 20 in all... Had 10 days trouble free motoring, with no damage. Washed the car outside and brushed out inside before returning... returned car clean expecting a battle about 2 hrs early.. agent came round the car to inspect promptly... we showed a number photos when queried about damage not on the contract and these were accepted by him. I got the guy to accept there was no damage he signed back the 110 euro for full to full fuel and the 1100 euro block for damage... I await to check that no unauthorised payments will be taken from my card.. I'm hopeful nothing will be as sign off process seemed pretty genuine.

Do not book them! Company that rips you off. Because I did not take their expensive insurance at Alicante airport, they claim damage (although I have prove with dated pictures of the existing damage)
Plus centauro do not pay you back the fuel (again have proves that I returned it full)

Do not go there. Chania airport. First booking was void as we arrived later than expected due to delayed flight- office closed and no provision been made.
Made a new booking next day. Very pushy to pay for extra insurance.
At drop off they wanted to charge me for scratches on the wheel cover.
Luckily I had made a photo to prove that it was preexisting.
A small stain on back seat apparently required the charge of a deep clean ( I removed it with some water in seconds).
So don't go there.
And if you do anyway- TAKE PHOTOS- in- and outside!

Ils m'ont escroqué de 138 Euros en ne rendant toujours pas la caution prise pour l'essence.
Ils ne répondent pas au mail et je suis toujours dans l'attente du remboursement de la caution.
Une arnaque bien rodée ! Je déconseille fortement

We were told we would be picked up from the airport, despite 8 calls to the head office and local office and over an hour waiting in the airport we resorted to getting a taxi.
On return the customer service as shocking!! Kept waiting for over 30minutes on a cramped minibus to return to the airport, fellow customers were shouted at by the staff for questioning how much longer the full Minibus would be waiting. Would certainly not recommend to anyone.

El responsable de la oficina próxima al aeropuerto de Atenas es un maleducado, prepotente y extorsionador. Se llama Manos y no sólo lo digo por el trato que recibí yo, sino por el trato que observé con el que atendía al resto de clientes, especialmente otros dos españoles en los que puede entender toda la reclamación.
Inicialmente la persona que me atendió iba a hacerme el cambio de conductor que había pedido sin cargo alguno.
Seguidamente pasó otra persona que informó que el cambio debía tener un coste de 70€
Finalmente el responsable de la oficina intervino y dijo que había que hacer un contrato nuevo pagando para ello el importe total del alquiler.
Iba con mis hijos y con otras familias, me hicieron desesperar durante 2 horas y al final no tuve más remedio que aceptar la última propuesta que me hizo:
Me obligó a contratar un seguro a todo riesgo por 300€ para aceptar cambiar el conductor del contrato.
Su actitud fué desafiante y mediante chantaje.
Lo que ví en otros clientes fue aún peor, especialmente por la actitud desafiante y sobre todo por la intencionalidad clara de buscar los fallos en la devolución del vehículo para poder justificar cobros extra sin justificación alguna.

not recommended !!! When we landed, we waited about 45 minutes for a representative. In the end, we took a taxi for 15 minutes and it cost €20. We arrived back early in the morning. The place was closed. There was no representative and no one. I had to find a solution and in the end they also charged me €75. If your arrived/departure when office close you can't return car between 23:00-07:00 !!!! take a car at the terminal less p.s. They don't recognize the insurance you made through booking and start -- taking out a credit limit -- taking out 136€ in case if you return a not clean car or not full tank

Never got my car because of rigid rules, lost my money. No flexibility, bad service, really pushy for extra insurence.

They accepted payment for renting the car through mastercard Revolut but they did not accept the same card for the insurance of the car at Centauro pick -up the car-lol. Also they did not accept my other solution another debit card visa this time. They wanted credit card only which i do not have in particular. In the end they didn;t even canceld the res and they are extremely rude here in Athens department saying it is none of his business, which it is to cancel my res if he could not or would not wanted to fullfill. Especially the manager in Athens Centauro was unhelpful,rude and even offensive!

Rented a brand-new car in Malaga Spain but as a result of my inexperience with driving on the twisty maze of roads in the city, I decided to bring the car back after about an hour. Although I paid for the non-refundable insurance, Centauro refunded my payment. They didn't have to do it - legally I was responsible for the total amount of insurance, but they took care of us. Very grateful, cool people & would definitely rent with them again.

Do not accepting VISA credit card because it was Revolut. Prepayment was made, they also refused to cancel the order.

We booked a car through booking.com and it was cheaper than anyone else. There probably is the lesson. We booked and took out the extra insurance with booking.com which would cover any claim on the excess which was clearly shown as up to €1100.
On arrival,met by friendly staff, all cars like new. The staff then asked if I had insurance that would cover the standard excess of €1100. I said I did and showed them the paperwork. The lady then said that it was very difficult to claim the money back on this insurance and that you would need a police report covering any damage found etc. she said that the police rarely attend most incidents and definitely wouldn't attend damage found etc. she was quite adamant that my insurance was no good. By this time it was 1130 pm had been travelling all day and I didn't have the energy to go through all the small print on my insurance. The lady then offered me their full insurance for €300 extra which would cover me for everything . I took this up and paid the money as I didn't want to risk it. The next day I checked the insurance that I had already bought and it was rubbish that you needed a police report. All you needed was an invoice from the hire company showing the amount that they were charging on the excess. The final price was more than I had been quoted from the other companies that came with full insurance. I will say that the car was very new, clean and reliable and the staff on return were very pleasant and got us straight to the airport.
Just felt that I was misled in regard to the extra insurance.

I booked a car less than 48 hours for Athens airport, through bookings.com,I read the terms agreed the price booked and paid, on checking my booking the night before leaving I opened my voucher only to read I have to pay an extortionate €1100 deposit, this is an absolutely unacceptable amount, on cancelling the booking they now charged me £25 n only refund me £8 in 7 days,
This is awefull service, unless you’ve got shed loads of cash to leave as deposit, avoid this lot, and as always no one’s answering the phone n no other contact or message details,available I’m absolutely livid you lot have taken money for nothing, absolutely nothing, typical

This is a scam. I was waiting for someone to pick me up in Athens airport and nobody was there. I tried to call in the office but nobody pick up the phone. I just lost my money without any explanation. Never going to do it again and I will never recommend anybody to use this company. Is a fraud

Hace 16 días que después de quejarme por una atención al cliente inexistente la empresa me contestó que en el plazo de 12 días me contestarían …seguimos sin noticias.
NI CASO de la respuesta automática que pone: "sentimos su mala experiencia póngase en contacto con nosotros" ...nadie contesta.
Una lástima que no haya personas al otro lado , pasamos a denunciar con la OCU

You would do well to avoid this company at all costs! Their staff are rude, bare-faced lying scammers! We booked a car for €188 a week through booking.com; pick-up from their office at Chania Airport in Crete, to be returned to Heraklion Airport..
It took forever for the mini-bus to collect us from Arrivals after we had called, even though we were assured it was on its way.. once at the office it soon became clear that the staff were interested in one thing only, selling additional insurance and making life as difficult as possible to force you to buy full insurance.. Whilst waiting I listened to various customers telling the desk staff they had their own full insurance and showing proof of this, only for this to be refuted by them and forcing the customers to have theirs at €27 a day if they wanted to drive a car away!
Also, the desk staff lied repeatedly on the phone to customers waiting to be collected from the airport, again saying that the mini bus was underway.. one staff member got quite irate with a customer who called twice over a 20 minute period asking where their pickup was! All the time they were in the office trying to extort extra money from unsuspecting customers..
When my turn finally came, I made it very clear from the outset that I was not interested in any extra insurance.. I was told I had to pay a one-way fee for returning the car at a different airport, which I totally understood and agreed to.
I was then told I had to pay €152 in advance for petrol costs, to be refunded only when the car was returned with a full tank of petrol...
Then when it came to pay, all of a sudden my credit card, which I have used all over Europe and have used extensively since, didn't go through.. my brother offered to use his, but this was declined, as only the main booker can use their card.. contacted my bank in the UK, who said all was OK, but still it wouldn't go through..
What to do? Oh wait, said the desk staff, there is one way round it; you can use your debit card, but only if you agree to buy our full insurance!!
Dirty tricks or what, that was the intention all along, force you, along with everyone else waiting whilst we were there, to buy their full insurance!
Our €188 car ending up costing us over €500!! At Heraklion Airport, the staff member came out shouting KEY before we had even had a chance to unload, explained that the promised refund on petrol would be done in the next few days by bank transfer and spirited the car away with no check-ups at all, other than looking at the petrol gauge.. we were then hoarded into the minibus and dropped off at the airport... Never Again!!!
