Shady business practices. Buy 1 get one 1/2 price. Tried to buy some cushions from Lane Bryant Home. The order came about $100 higher than it should have. Why the difference? Because they take the 1/2 price off the cheapest items. It states buy a cushion for 89 get the second one at 44.50. But the order also had two pillows :buy one at 25 second one at 12.5..so they "tried" to give me the 1/2 off for the two pillows only. uhhh NO way Jose! They also run sales in multiple catalogs but do you get the lowest price for the item?? Not unless you order from the specific catalog with the lower price. Shady Shame on you for not giving your customer the best price being presented to the public. I hate that and can see you going into the dumpster. Even with your Shady business practices you can't stay afloat for long.

Marjorie Johnson caught me off guard, Marjorie went above and beyond, and then said take your time. Let me explain! Im always trying to save and work a coupon. I called to asked a specific question about buy one get one and other question. Marjorie said yes give me your item numbers.....I wasn't ready. Take your time she said. I have to look it up, its ok Marjorie said. As I nervously pull it up still in shock thinking "Really" Wow! Marjorie did the mathematics and gave me my best route. Fremont location review. Clean store. Helpful staff that goes the extra mile. Brittany helped me put together my order over the phone to keep my shopping time down to fit my schedule. It was better than online. It was amazingly convenient and even better than mail order because I picked it it up right away and didn't have to wait or dispose of a bunch of packing materials. She is awesome and I appreciate the extra effort.
I ordered some clothing online
I ordered some clothing online, received an email with shipping information with a date Receiving date corresponding With what was stated when I ordered it. However the package was never received by the shipping carrier I was sent a tracking number for and the date passed For it to arrive. The shipper updated the tracking number to state “ information will be update when the package arrive at the shipping facility of origin “. I called Lanebryants customer service and stated what was going on. The service agent was rude refused to listen to the issue. Kept saying USPS has updated. According to UPS tracking number (not USPS) that the package was never received for shipment. This is the 2nd time this has happened. They offer no customer service for online orders, no discounts for their blatant lack of service. The service agent was unprofessional kept reading the same script over and over then had the nerve to hang up on me because I asked him to locate the package. I’m done with their online store all items will be refused and shipped back.
WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE !!
I just moved to Eugene/Springfield, Oregon about 3-4 months ago and decided to go into Layne Bryant at the Valley River Mall in Eugene. I was having the worst week ever until I walked in and was greeted by the amazing Makaya, *thee most wonderful sales/stylist girl I have EVER met !! She welcomed me, asked me if I was looking for anything in particular, and showed me around the store and immediately helped me with my sizes. What I thought was cool as well, was that she told me the history of how Layne Bryant came to be, and was so enthusiastic explaining it to me. Normally the sales girls in other stores ask if they can help you and say, 'ok let me know if you have any questions,' and then walk away. Not her, she was absolutely fabulous !
Then I met Laura, the manager of the store, and she was so incredibly wonderful as well ! She explained that they are all about positively, and told me that they were so glad that I came in and that I got to have a good time because my week had been so awful. She made sure to ask me if there was anything else I needed before I left the store. Both of them were very accommodating. I literally cannot say enough about these two ladies.
Layne Bryant is now my new favorite store, and now when I go in again, as I will a lot, I know I am treated like a friend.

Horrendous customer service
I've been a lane bryant customer for as long as I can remember but not anymore. Other than them dropping their best made bras for cheaper made... Their customer service or lack thereof of horrendous. Literally placed an order and realized I ordered the wrong size. I tried updating the size and was told because the order has already been placed I couldn't make any changes since they're so on top of getting orders out. Funny thing is I also received a notice stating because of high order volumes my order will be delayed about 5 days before a tracking number will even be generated. So, not that they couldn't they just didn't want to. I was advised to wait for it to be delivered which like like is going to be delayed quite sometime then contact them for a return. Such bs. They're obviously not there to help their customers only themselves. Time to take my business to a company who appreciates their customers.

I will never make a purchase from them again!! I haven’t shopped in the store or online in years but decided to give them a try.WOW was I surprised and extremely disappointed I have never had such a bad experience with a company like I had with them. I was looking for jeans as Catherine’s curvy jeans that I brought for years have so declined in quality and sizing is up and down from one pair to the other and now you can only shop online. That being said I decided to try Lane Bryant online with the Covid and not wanting to go to a crowded mall. So I looked and found they had curvy jeans since I had never purchased from them I looked at the chart and after still not being sure used their live chat line the person was very uninterested in helping me and told me I would basically have to decide which size on my own since their sizing is quite strange and runs oddly I decided to go with what I thought would be the best and was very close to what I measure. Bottom line was way to big and so far off from the chart I called and asked for an exchange for a different size she told me it would be $5.95 to send them back and then a shipping fee for them to send them again I didn’t think I should be charged to send them back as the chart is so off in sizing and she put me on hold for a long time then got back on and said they couldn’t do that and proceeded to tell me to go to the store that is about a half hour away and they could be returned free I said that was ridiculous with Covid and I told her it took over a week to get them as it was she said there was nothing she could do and just to order the next size down so I said if they didn’t fit I would be loosing more money and be getting nothing she just said she couldn’t help and told me to just send them and they would deduct the postage from my refund. Do yourself a favor avoid them at all cost they are not helpful and don’t really care if you loose your money. I was told to be careful with their sizing because it was so erratic and I should have listened in this day and age with what’s going on financially do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere.
What Happened Lane?
In the early 2000's lane bryant would had gotten a 5 Star🌟 from me. Overall their clothes were amazing in style, material, and sizing. Expecially when their sizes in jeans only ranged from a 1-6. Definitely gave a BIG girl alittle bit of confidence. Made me feel just alittle bit better about myself, unlike now when you have to go into the stores to purchase that BIG two number size. So unfortunately now lane bryant only gets a BIG 2 Star🌟. They only get that extra star because their intimate brand (cacique) is amazing in almost every category. Unfortunately cacique's sizing is alittle off too. Just like Lane Bryant's clothing is. Cacique's cup sizes run a size bigger. And the band size runs a size smaller. But other than that I've never been unsatisfied with Lane Bryant's intimate brand Cacique. So just like Cacique, Lane Bryant Unfortunately also has a sizing issue. The fitting of their clothing is ridiculous. You can not order online unless you get a particular item that you have already tried on in the store. My regular size is a 18/20 at lane bryants since they started their new size chart 10-15 years ago. But these past 4 to 5 years their clothing style, material, and sizing has been absolutely Terrible. First off the styles are so old fashion looking. I thought that's why lane bryant bought Catherine's to accommodate The much older clientele. But I guess not!!🤭 Sorry that was funny. Anyways we covered style, now let's move on to material. The worst ever!! You might as well go get your outfits from family dollar. Lane Bryant should be ashamed of themselves for marking up the prices of their cheaply made clothing. Makes me so mad😠 when companies do that. YES, "Let's make our products cheaper so we can charge more for the crap."So sickin🤢 Okay last but not least "Sizing". Oh my goodness, where do I begin? I have never ever in my 41 years came across a clothing store where my clothing size fluctuates so much until now. Even after lane Bryant changed their sizing chart 10-15 years ago I would always be a size 18/20 until 4 to 5 years ago when something seriously went wrong with the sizing of their clothing. Example: In my closet I have two pairs of cari pants. Both are the same exact product. Only difference is I purchased a size 20 for me and a size 24 for my mom. I try on my size 20 at the store and they fit amazing. So I purchase them. I knew my mom would wear a size 24 in them because we always are 2 sizes apart. Well I go to her house and she tries them on and guess what? You got it, They are 2 sizes to small for her. So I try them on and they fit exactly like the size 20 in the same pair of cari pants I just bought with the size 24. In my closet you will find sizes in lane bryant ranging from 18 to 28🤯 (all these sizes can be worn for the current size I am right now.) What happened Lane? Why would any Big girl want to shop in your store when you are just going to take their size 18/20 and turn it into a 26/28. If your going to do that atleast make it odd numbers so I can pretend the sizes are in Juniors and not Plus size. Yes I have been to thousands of clothing departments and been a size bigger or a size smaller. Not all brands are made the same, I get that. But 3 sizes BIGGER? NO THANK You Lane. Ill take my skinny Ass to Torrid from now on.😁
Unhelpful staff/Awful Policies
I placed an order online that still hadn’t shipped. I contacted customer service because I realized it wouldn’t fit. First rep I spoke to asked me to wait so they could assist me and I waited. They then disconnected me without speaking. I tried again and got someone else who started with copy/paste advertisement as soon as I connected. I asked if I could simply change the size of the same item. They said I could not. I asked if I could cancel the order. They said I couldn’t. I asked if I could return it for a full refund. They said I couldn’t. They offered zero help and then proceeded to ask me if I’d like to place more orders with sales and if I’d like to make an account with them. Absolutely not. I don’t think I’ll shop with them again. So I’m getting an item I can’t use and won’t even get all my money back if I return it. Other companies would do their best to help the customer but this one didn’t. They just tried to get me to spend more money after telling me they couldn’t help me. Shop somewhere else. You’ll get better service.
Shady Dealings and Terrible Merchandise
Stopped by one evening to find my size. I was given some help and then told they didn't carry those in store so I'd have to order it. I ordered two bras and the sold me on getting a credit card because they said I'd get $20 off my order. I got the credit card in the mail and it came with a 40% off coupon. When I attempted to use it they said it can't be used on sale items, even though nothing on the coupon said anything about sale items. The customer service people were rude and incompetent and I couldn't understand them. One took about 40 minutes to resolve my call only to tell me I couldn't apply my coupon. In addition, I returned the bras and found something in store, when I wanted to pay cash, she told me I had to use my cc. That bra now has a broken underwire only after wearing it for a week.I have scheduled to pay my bill ahead of time and I will go ahead and close my card after that.

I have been a faithful Lane Bryant shopper for over 20 years and have spent countless thousands of dollars w them however when I visited their store on McKnight Rd in PA I was told to leave bc I didn’t have a mask on. I walked in and was ordered to wear a mask and I explained I have a medical condition that does not allow me to wear one . the associate then got her manager and she told me I would not be able to shop in their store. Let me tell you one thing Lane Bryant .. YOU have lost business from now on !! I have a right to not wear a mask and I have a medical reason not to ... thumbs down on the handling of the situation and thumbs down on your policies !!

I personally love Lane Bryant. I find their brand to be a little more dressier than casual, but I love their pajama sets as they are so comfy! They are a little pricey, but my clothing always arrives in a timely manner.
Consistent experience
I’ve purchased in store for years and this was my first time online. Shipping was slow although the website tells you that in advance. I was delighted with my items when they showed up. I got a pink skater dress that fit like I expected and some biker short/tank top pajamas that were sooo comfy. In my new world of online shopping I’ve not had the best experience and was relieved my in store and online expectations were the same at Lane Bryant.
False Advertisement of Promo Codes and Discounts w/ Deceptive Trade Practices
In an attempt to utilize my RealWomenDollars while taking advantage of the terrific sales that were being advertised online, I declined to proceed with my purchase due to my negative experience with your "customer service rep" chat line. I had more than $155 worth of items but was having difficulty getting my RealWomenDollars and AprGift promo codes to the purchase. Your representative then informed me that I wasn't able to use my RealWomenDollars if an item was or had a sale price. She then told me that I wasn't able to use the AprGift promo code. My comment to her for both remarks was that I can't make a purchase on the site as 99% of everything on their site had a "sales price". I advised her that bait and switch is illegal and those types of advertising techniques are not acceptable, especially in the State of Texas. Your representative pretty much told me oh well and sorry about your bad luck, that I have until April 16 to use the RealWomenDollars - I told her I was canceling my account and order - the representative didn't care so I canceled and disconnected the chat. This is the 2nd time I attempted to use the promo codes advertised on their website as well as additional coupons received through previous purchases without any success. This is fraud, deceptive trade practices and false advertisement.

Bad Credit Card
We love Lane Bryant clothing, but their business practice is questionable. We want everyone to know about it and to warn everyone not to get their credit card. We paid our first bill in full of over $400 through our bank 5 days before the due date on the bill. Lane Bryan said they did not receive it for 9 days. They gave us a late fee then continued to charge us late fees for 2 more months. We did not see them because we believed we paid the bill in its entirety. They refused to remove the charges despite proof from our bank that the bill was sent in advance of due date. Lane Bryant did this to someone who has a pristine credit record and pays every bill in entirety and on time. It was our first use of the card as well.

They charge more for international returns then the clothes are worth! Worst, their website does not state that they charge fees for returns! When you call them, their rep just keeps on repeating the same thing and does not listen. Tried to explain that the policy is different on the web site, but rep did not care.
