UNACCEPTABLE BUSINESS Catherine's
On August 7, 2023 I placed an order online with Catherine's $280.00 Worth of an order at that. I also had recieved several coupons for 40% and 50% off. When it came time to check out, I could not use either coupon so i called customer service. I was told that I cannot use them because I had an item on back order, I changed item and still was unable to use it. I Was told because I have a third party vendor item in my cart(how does one know that you have a third parry vendor item if you are shopping on catherines website) all these stipulations for a coupon. I just chucked it up as a loss of discount but I needed these items. I received a confirmation order email which said thank you for shopping with us and you will recieve a follow up email once your order has shipped...August 11th I checked my order and no orders found. I called customer service and they stated that my order had been canceled. I was never advised and my Catherines card has a 300.00 balance. Who canceled this order? I asked for a supervisor which was not available. So they transferred me to a specialist named Mike whom kept cutting me off. I asked why it was canceled and he said the only reason an order is canceled is even the customer cancels it or due to non payment. We'll, I didn't cancel it and it was placed on my catherines account so payment was recieved. I cannot replace the order because the balance is On my card, I NEVER RECIEVED AN EMAIL TELLING ME THAT MY ORDER WAS CANCELED and you cannot help me in anyway? He said no and it will take 3-5 bus dys for my account to be credited. He nor the other agent offered an apologies for this inconvenience or the bad customer service that I have recieved. I have shoped with them for years..I bought 2 bras for me, 2 for my mother and 2 pair of stockings each, and it was 280.00... 45.00 for one bra! The overall experience with Catherines was UNACCEPTABLE, UNPROFESSIONAL And this experience has left a bad taste in my mouth. I will be closing my account!!
Horrible Return Policy
Horrible return policy. I'm losing $40 to them to return their lousy clothes -- bad material. Bad fit. Horrible return policy.
Horrible credit card and customer service
Be careful of the credit card. I used this credit card in 2023 time before that was 2020. When I uses credit card in 2023 I returned all merchandise but the store didn't add 5cent of my total to credit back my account (I didn't even notice this til I got a statement for late fee balance)...how scandalous is that. I'll never use this card or shop this company again. Now I'm going back/fourth with the company. This world is full of rip offs. Credit my account so there's no late fee "Lane Bryant"!

I mean I bought all kinds of panties and they were nothing like I wanted until I finally tried you. Do NOT buy from Catherine's! Bought a skirt for $36.00 that didn't fit, they charged me $10.99 shipping to get it and charged me another $10.99 to return it!! Offered me a lousy $14.00 refund!!! What kind of customer service is that?! I will NEVER order from them again!
Finally, a Pleasant Associate
Today around 7:00 PM, I visited the Lane Bryant in the Arlington Highlands, TX shopping center. Since they were in the middle of a clearance sale, the store was quite busy. I selected half a dozen items and headed toward the dressing room area. An LB associate greeted me, introduced herself as April and led me to a dressing room.
I decided to buy a jumpsuit and three blouses. When I arrived at the checkout, there were two associates manning the register. Each one had a customer. When one of them was free, I approached her. She said she was going to restock and left me standing there. The other associate continued with her existing customer. Just as I was getting irritated at being left high-and-dry by the associate, April came forward from the front of the store and offered to check me out. She was pleasant, interested in my choices and extremely professional.
This particular store is not known to have pleasant staff. April was a clear exception. She restored my good mood with her graciousness. She deserves a promotion!!

Made a(for me) large order of $82. Some items arrived the rest never came. Asked for a refund. They started the process on June 6. And im still waiting!!! Worst costumer service ever. ( Unless the aim is to scare of clients, then they do great).
Keep writing emails to keep them working, now they don’t even reply.
Ordered 2 piece bikini received 1 piece…
I ordered a 2 piece bikini swimsuit online from Lane Bryant. I only received the top half of the suit. There was NO notification sent to inform me that I would not be receiving the full suit.
I now have no swimsuit to wear on my planned trip.
I ordered the same bra I have used for…
I ordered the same bra I have used for years only to find skinny boning in the sides and less padding around the underwires. I was nearly in tears after wearing it at work all day. I had to cut the boning out but there was no relief from the lack of underwire padding. Now I am back to searching for another company that makes a comfortable 36H bra. I am so unhappy with this company right now. Customer service was terrible when I called them.
Wish I wouldn't have ordered from this company
I wish I would have just drove 30 minutes and returned my order to the store to avoid the hassle of trying to get my full refund by returning it through the mail. I thought I'd save myself some gas money but ended up paying for shipping twice. I reached out through live chat and they said they initiated my refund. I check my email after the chat had ended and see they deducted the $5.95 fee for return shipping even though I didn't use their return label. I returned the package through my boyfriend's work and he paid for a UPS label for me. I even provided the tracking number to that agent which was not the same one that was showing on my account. Why they didn't catch this is beyond me. So I tried reaching out again though live chat and that agent is telling me they can't refund me the $5.95 since the refund was already processed! Are you kidding me?! They then said as a courtesy they could give me free expedited shipping on my future order. I explained that I would not be placing another order. So now at this point they are saying they will have to issue a check for $5.95. I just wanted the full amount refunded to my Lane Bryant card as it should have been. So I tried calling. And of course they are trying to offer me a gift card. I don't understand why it is so hard to just refund the full amount. I will definitely not be placing another order with Lane Bryant again.

As a “big” girl I’ve patronized Lane Bryant for a long time. However, I’m done. I always thought the prices were ridiculously high, but somehow I let it go. This week I visited because I had a real need—lost luggage. Every single thing was outrageously overpriced. Every pair of pants was $79. A regular, thin, black t-shirt for casual wear was $29.95. I went to the dollar store in the city where I stayed and bought a similar shirt for $5. Needless to say, I haven’t worn anything I purchased from LB and will be returning it all for purchases at other retailers that are more reasonable. I could see if the styles were more contemporary or the material was of a better quality. It is not. Lane Bryant is the perfect example of taking advantage of a population that has been exploited for profit in the business sector and a prime example of “just because you can doesn’t mean you should.” Frankly, I’m disappointed and disgusted. They need to rethink their business model. They could make much more with a better model.
Communication in Chat Horrible!
Communication in Chat - HORRIBLE!!!! I have a pair of jeans (worn once) that are defective! I've contacted Lane Bryant to inform them of this. I was told that a refund was issued in the chat feed; however, they can't send an email confirming the refund. This is crazy!! It takes 2 seconds to send an email to anyone anywhere in the world. Also, I have an account with them and the refund is shown there either. Who wants to pay for defective merchandise? I just want my money back!

Love the Sales and Cacique
I absolutely love the Cacique brand, only bras I will buy anymore! They accommodate all sizes and styles and the support is amazing! I don't know why people are complaining about the quality of the clothes, I think they are great! Only down side is that I have to purchase during sales as they are incredibly expensive. But they are always having great sales, just a matter of watching for them!
So disappointed
First of all, you never have my bra size!! Second, you never have the panties to match!! It takes an act of congress just to try and find a matching set, which is nearly impossible!!! You can do so much better!!! Very disappointing!!!
Quality is gone
During Covid, Lane Bryant went through an overhaul. As a result, their prices went up and the quality plummeted. I’ve been a loyal customer for 30 years, but will no longer be a LB customer.
Lacking sizes and bad bra fitting
My daughter and I were visiting family in Dallas,and I wanted to buy her some leggings and a bra for myself. The first problem was when they said my daughter could try leggings on after I told them her size,then when showing us the leggings,said we had to buy her size online. Why not stock all sizes? I then went to look at the bras,and told them I was looking for a front fastening non wired bra,and what size I wore. They decided to measure me first,and I was stunned when she said I was a DD,as I wear a UK G cup. But I bought what she offered (not front fastening),got it hot where we were staying,went to try it on and saw the first two rows of hooks were loose.(It had been done up on the third row,hiding the faulty rows.) I tried it on anyway,thinking I’d exchange the faulty one,but making sure it fit. It was way too small! She told me I was larger in the bandwidth,but that was too big. I’ve since checked,and my actual size in America is an I,which I purchased elsewhere. (For far less,and it’s excellent.)
I grew up in Dallas and used to shop often with Lane Bryant,but I wouldn’t give them my business again.
Wrong size final sale
I ordered a size 12 but they sent me another size. It took over a week for one pair of pants to arrive and the shipping cost as much as the pants.
The pants say Final Sale. I'll never buy anything from this store again, online or in person.
Exemplary customer service
I was on vacation in Las Vegas where I used to live. Sadly, my favorite Lane Bryant location, Blue Diamond, had closed. We went to the Meadows Mall and one of the ladies from the Blue Diamond location was there. In all the times I have shopped at Lane Bryant, Blue Diamond had the best customer service so I was happy that Tamiko was at this location. She provided me with the same stellar customer service as always.
We were greeted as soon as we walked in and asked if I was looking for something specific. I was looking for bras and in a hurry. She asked me size and I explained the issues I was having with sizing. She measured me, and offered me a bra that would offer better support. She picked one in my size and helped me to the dressing room. She asked my name and checked back with me to get another size. They only had a few choices in my size but she told me could order them and have them shipped to my home. I told her I had seen a coupon online but was unable to find it again. She helped with that too!
Tamiko was very knowledgeable and personable. As someone who had worked and managed in retail, she exemplifies the traits I look for in a customer service experience.
