I love the Cardo
I love the Cardo, but the warranty is a joke. It doesn’t cover accidental damage, which is not something I expect from an item that costs over 200+. I had an accident within two months of buying it, and all Cardo said was to buy the replacement part. I was like, so you’re not even going to provide the part under warranty?
I didn’t expect a whole new unit, but I did expect something. They only offered a 10% discount, which is fine if you live in the USA, but I’m from the UK and it would still cost over £90.
Thankfully, I was willing to risk it and took my Cardo apart myself. I unplugged the small wire, removed everything I could, cleaned out all the dust, and tightened everything back up. It seems to work now, but the volume wheel is broken. i would avoied if you dont want to spend money or time fixing it if u crash

I’ve had the pack talk bold for some years now it’s great.
About 2 months ago I lost it, searched the house couldn’t find it, just today I had found it! Somehow it dropped off my helmet and landed in my front garden and has been out there for the past 2 months in the rain, snow and ice. I pick it up thinking god it’s broken. But no, I connect it and headed to work playing my music as if nothing happened!

ho acquistato un sistema insyde per casco agv .sistema praticamente inutilizzabile, si scollega di continuo quelle poche volte che si collega ha un audio pessimo insomma completamente inutilizzabile.
I live in Canada
I live in Canada, ride on weekends and only 5 months a year since we have winter. After a bit more than 2 years, my Cardo Pack Talk Edge went from lasting more than 7 to 10 hours to barely 2 hours.
I contacted Cardo as they mentioned a 3 years limited warranty. They made me test the FM radio only until it the battery died, it lasted 7 hours, so they said this was normal and of course, would not exchange the unit. 7 hours for only FM radio is ridiculous, I used to have this with GPS and music together!
Finally, they offered a rebate, well, that rebate is for their website in the US, so it would be cheaper to buy the unit in Canada without a rebate.
I will be going with another company as some of my friends have cheaper brands and they are still working as they just bought it!
The product of Cardo is exquisite their customer service is terrible.

The sound quality, connectivity, the user experience, it's all sublime and unmatched.
However their customer service is totally whacked.
I had an accident on the 10th of June and have (fortunately) since recovered.
The unit I had, a Packtalk, crashed into the ground.
The damage done to the unit because of this crash, is purely cosmetic. The unit itself can be plugged into the headset and all functions can be used. It works perfectly.
Yet when trying to contact Cardo, even though I'm so happy with the product, I cannot get the damaged cosmetic parts replaced. Not even repaired.
I think it's out of this world I need to pay another 300 euro's to replace my unit, even though the unit I have still works. I can't get it into my head that there is no repair possible.
I am so very much struggling to buy from you guys again. My wife needs her own unit as she started riding motorcycles, I was advising everyone around me to buy one (many people also did), and I was planning to buy another helmet and have the Cardo Packtalk Edge built into the helmet (integrated in the Schuberth C5).
Now I cannot make up my mind. How I wish your customer service would be helping instead of stating anything is impossible.
I will not recommend this product anymore.

Waste of money
Cardo is expensive junk because it constantly disconnects from phone and won't connect to other riders, £280 wasted, I still have to pull over to talk to my pillion!

LE spirit HD est le 2e en partant du bas de la gamme , mais il fonctionne plutôt bien sur un JET SHOEI.
Assez difficile à placer car les câbles sont assez longs , les HP sont lourds et de bonne qualité.
Connection avec un Tomtom rider et un Smartphone en simultané...tout se passe à merveille .
passé 110 Km/h adieu musique...il faut en être conscient

If I could rate this product and Cardo Systems customer service less than one star, I would. I purchased a Packtalk Edge two weeks ago, brand new from my local motorcycle dealer. I blindly followed the masses and great reviews thinking this was the best system on the market. I followed the instructions to the letter, installed the unit on a brand new helmet and took a 1600 km ride with it. I spent the entire trip trying to get this unit to work as advertised. It randomly connects, disconnects, loses comms randomly. Turns the radio on by itself, no voice function, it simply doesn’t work at all, the volume, (if the unit decides to work) randomly adjusts itself, even with automatic audio volume control in the off position. The sound quality is complete garbage to boot.
Cardo’s customer service is non existent!!! They have offered to have a look at this brand new unit, all I have to do is ship it back to them AT MY EXPENSE ! This is an over 400.00 purchase, a brand new unit, yet this is all they offer. My local dealer had told that they won’t return it as it was installed in my helmet. Cardo wants me out of pocket to ship it back with no assurance that I will even see this piece of garbage ever again.
My advice to people looking at purchasing an in-helmet communication system is to steer clear of any products bearing the Cardo name. This company and its policies are a disgrace.

Cardo packtalk pro
C'est mon deuxième achat Cardo et cette fois j'ai pris le haut de gamme PACKTALK PRO surtout pour la fonction Mesh boost et la promesse d'une communication ininterrompue.
Résultats après la saison 2025 qui s'achève: toujours pas de Mesh boost pourtant annoncé pour le mois de Mars ,puis repousser à Juillet et ensuite septembre...
Voilà de belles promesse non tenue.
Au prix de l'appareil c'est vraiment triste d'une communication qui dépasse pas les 800 m en réel .
Je ne sais pas si c'est mieux chez Senna mais au moins le système existe dès l'achat de l'appareil !

This is an update to my Below review which was made a while ago “one year before”
So I did something stupid and went and bought duo Packtalk Edge , thinking would help to enjoy a moto ride while sharing clear conversation and some quality music with a passenger…
Man I was so wrong….
if your intention is to have a good experience then DON’T buy this product based on reviews or promotional advertisements, don’t buy it before testing it personally then if you are comfortable using it buy it .
Some of the negative points:
- sharing music and talk simultaneously very gimmicky … works on and off !
- pairing with iPhone is not stable as it connects and disconnects ( you hear the device saying aired to phone and you see the edge connected via connected Bluetooth devices ) BUT when opening the Cardo app you see your device is unconnected so when it happens you can’t use app to contrôle sharing , software updates , voice commands , sounds levels etc !
- hey Cardo voice command is another very good feature “WHEN IT WORKS” !!
Contacted support , watched their tutorials on YouTube , updated software, rest device , connect disconnected device… did every possible thing to have the feature works but it seems it is not gonna happen!
- sound insulation or noise cancellation is not amazing as there are better performance brands despite the fact that they use JBL headsets but not good enough!
This me only but If I get a chance of refund and return my edges devices I would go buy Sena with Harmon headphones… less claims of DMC perfect connections but when they announce a feature it actually works.
or maybe I will just try one of these new cool HUD for moto casque such as eyeRide or E6 I think …. IronMan style 😉
Missleading product reviews and defusing false informations to broaden sales with no credibility!
They promoted the cardo Edge Packtalk as compatible with all DMC Packtalk models such as bold or ScalaRider Packtalk: intercom and music / call / GPS share .
they won’t tell you that the music sharing won’t work until you buy and get trouble , then when you contact support they will come up with software updates & incompatiblity issues !
I should have Bought interphone R16 or R8 much better and cheaper ,
Also Sena s50 or 60 are supper

Cardo ne veut rien savoir ils n'ont même pas ouvert d'enquête et me dise clairement que aucune solution ne peut être trouver. Je me retrouve avec un colis vide pour 230€. C'est une vrai arnaque sachant qu'aucun recours peut être effectué car leur siège est a Israël.
Je suis très decu car j'ai déjà 3 Cardo acheté en magasin. Décidément Cardo ne respecte pas ses clients
Il peggio del peggio
Rispetto ai modelli precedenti che erano ottimi per il periodo, infatti ho ancora due Scala Rider q1, attualmente è peggiorato tantissimo, tanto da essere quasi inutilizzabile. Sulla descrizione certificano la connettività con il TFT della moto ed il sistema Mesh. Non corrisponde al vero. Ha un solo canale bluetooth per cui se si collega al TFT non si collega all'auricolare. Bisogna dissociarlo dalla moto per poterlo usare con il casco, quindi senza i comandi al manubrio. Non è dotato di tecnologia Mesh, che dovrebbe essere universale, invece si collega esclusivamente con altri interfono Cardo e solo dopo acquisto a pagamento di un pacchetto. Quindi se c'è un passeggero non è possibile connettersi. Ho chiamato e scritto al servizio clienti di Cardo ed a maggio mi hanno assicurato che avrebbero liberalizzato tutte le applicazioni o la maggior parte. A Settembre non è ancora cambiato nulla. Visto che le informazioni sul sito e sulla confezione non corrispondono alla realtà, ho chiesto se era possibile restituirlo e comprarne uno di livello superiore, aggiungendo la differenza, ma anche in questo caso non è stato possibile. In conclusione il livello del Cardo Custom paktalk è uguale ad un interfono cinese da 20 euro acquistato on line, unica differenza gli altoparlanti, che sono leggermente superiori. Se non lo betteró via lo monterò su un casco di riserva da usare solo in casi estremi. Non penso che comprerò mai più un prodotto Cardo.

Não comprem Cardo, tenho 2 onde os comunicadores laterais +/- não funcionam.. alegadamente pois se desconectaram ou já vinham desconectados.. pois nunca funcionaram.
Inadmissível uma marca com algum prestígio, ter problemas de software desta forma.
Comprem outra marca pela saúde da vossa carteira. A minha experiência é péssima, péssima, podem dizer o que quiserem.
É inacreditável um produto plug and play, Cardo SC EDGE estar a passar por este a problemas depois de ter pago o valor que paguei por estes comunicadores que não funcionam.

Contattato il servizio clienti con difficoltà per richiedere informazioni riguardo riparazione centralina di un scala rider q2 Il mio funziona ancora ma si è letteralmente sciolto il pulsante volume superiore e valutavo acquisto di una nuova centralina. Articolo sinceramente datato ma pagato al tempo non poco. Assistenza deludente per qualsiasi cosa anche quando ho avuto necessità di accessori per utilizzo altri caschi e nuovo carica batterie.
Delusione assoluta perché credevo fosse un marchio top di gamma.

Verkoper Motorkledingstore weigerde na klagen en talloze keren terug gaan omruilen-herstel of garantie.
Geen idee waarom Motorkledingstore dit niet wilde doen.
Daarom uiteindelijk totalle aankoopbedrag terug gevraagd en gekregen.
Dat recht heb ik als consument.
Kortom baal van cardo het merk.
Dacht dat het beter was.
