I have used Caker Street before but unfortunately this time round, the order was delivered outside of the window of delivery they had originally specified (9-12 pm) which was problematic as I was due to attend an event with the cupcakes. Not only was I late to the event, I was unable to bring the cupcakes as they had sat in a hot uber car for the whole journey. The topping which is was a golf design was all melted and damaged. I paid 80 pounds including a 20 pound courier delivery for these 12 cupcakes which is outrageously expensive especially when one cannot bring them to the event AND made late. I will not be using Caker street again unfortunately. When I immediately complained nothing was done. The person on the phone assured me that they had placed my complaint but there was no follow up of any sort. When I realised they were late and tried to phone them it was impossible to reach them which left me in a stressful situation and in limbo. I wasn't sure if i should leave the house to attend the event or if they would turn up with the cupcakes. It was overall extremely unpleasant experience.

Ordering was incredibly easy and straightforward. I loved being able to choose a cake design and then customise it with my preferred filling and dietary requirements. The whole process felt simple and stress-free.

What impressed me most was the delivery service. I live in Ferryhill, County Durham, and they were able to deliver there without any issues. As I'm not able to be with my mum on her birthday, having a beautiful cake delivered directly to her means so much to me. Thanks to this service, she can still have a special celebration even when I'm far away.

I recently ordered a 50th birthday cake for my brother from Caker Street at short notice, and I was so impressed with the whole experience. The cake arrived extremely well packaged and looked fantastic. Everyone commented on how lovely it tasted and how incredibly soft and fresh it was. It really helped make the celebration special. I’m extremely pleased with the service and quality, will definitely be ordering from them again, and would highly recommend them to others! 5 stars from this happy customer

As always, a beautiful and delicious cake arrived in perfect condition and on time. I highly recommend it; I will continue to buy the cake here every year for my baby's birthday.

Caker Street was able to process my last minute order and get my cake delivered the following day, which was really good.
The cake itself had a good finish with nice fondant icing and a consistent sponge.
The chocolate sponge could have had a bit more chocolatey flavour but overall I was very happy with the cake.

My daughter’s 18th birthday cake arrived half collapsed. I had asked for delivery the day before her birthday but received a message to say it would be delivered 4 days before her birthday. I accepted this but the cake had collapsed during delivery. I messaged Caker street straight away and received a message saying I needed to return the cake within 24 hours to receive a refund. I was at work so unable to arrange the delivery that day. I sent photos that clearly show the collapsed cake and received no other communication. I wasted over £100 on the cake and had to quickly make a cake for my daughter the night before her birthday. I wish I had read the reviews of Caker street before parting with my money. Their customer service is appalling! I do not recommend.

Easy to navigate website - plenty of wonderful cakes for a special birthday! Good options for sponge and fillings and easy to personalise. Can’t wait to eat it!!

Amazing cakes

I’ve used CakerStreet for several occasions - birthdays, graduation etc ..
They have always been quick to respond, answer questions quickly and make the ordering process very easy- especially via whatsapp.
The cakes are fresh and delicious. You won’t regret ordering from them. Highly recommend.

We are not huge cake fans but we ordered some cupcakes for a birthday and they were outstanding! Just made a second order for the next birthday celebrations! Super easy to order and packaged perfectly! We are now becoming cake fans! Thank you Caker street!

The website was easy to use and order. I selected a cake for my daughter's 7th birthday. I requested the cake to be delivered on the Saturday as the party was on the Sunday.
After staying in the majority of Saturday to receive the cake no courier turned up. Online tracking said delivery to the address was not possible due to access. There were no access issues and we have a ring camera - no delivery was attempted. I contacted Caker Street who said they would do the best to resolve the matter. However this was just an automated response as no reply was given when I asked what they would actually do to resolve it, given the party was the next day.
The following Monday delivery was not made (even though it would have been to late for the party anyway). Tuesday the cake finally arrived - given it was a chocolate cream cake was dubious about eating it.
I contacted CakerStreet again requesting a refund as the product did not arrive when it said it would. Caker street apologised and said they would issue a full refund.
They did not, and are now not answering any emails and hang up on the phone.

The delivery was really the couriers fault I suppose but as it is Caker Street that chooses to use the courier the blame does fall on them too. The cake itself was not really value for the £185 paid. Edible with ok decorations. I don't think my daughter would have appreciated much more than a £10 Tesco cake.

Overall, I would avoid using this company.

My first time purchase from Caker Street and I am very impressed. The cake is beautiful and tastes as good as it looks (matches exactly to the photo on the website also).

Cake received damaged and was unable to be used. After sending photos of the damaged cake , I was told I needed to return it so they could inspect it!
And I may receive a refund but would take 5-7 working days!
Don’t order from this company- they don’t answer the phone and just leaving you hanging.
I ordered this cake months ago as it’s my husbands 60th Birthday and now have to go out the day before to find and pay for a replacement and the company have taken no responsibility for this and their customer service is non existent- you have been warned!
