Burchell Edwards - Estate & Letting Agents Anmeldelser

Avoid this agency at all cost, they are not arranging a viewings for genuine buyers at least at Burchell Edwards Sheldon office. They tell they don't know when the viewings will take place and will call back but never call back. They refuse viewings for buyers unless they can be coerced into using their in-house broker service. I don't understand why sellers still go to this rubbish agency they simply cut buyers off from properties they list. AVOID AT ALL COST!

Couldn't ask for a better service from the Burton-on-Trent branch! We literally wouldn't have found our dream home if it wasn't for Amber, she was incredibly knowledgeable, kind and focused! We also had financial advice from Caroline who confidently answered all of our many questions and did everything she could to get us the best deals! Finally, our case was handed to Vanessa who chased and reassured us every step of the way. We couldn't be more thankful for all of the great service!

Thank you to Emily for your expertise in finding me a new tenant for my property. Emily and Tom are always professional and diligent. I would highly recommend them for any letting queries. Thanks again!

Oh and yasser is the best mortgage advisor thank you

They deserve a zero star , the worst company ever cheeky liars dont get involved with them , they arranged a view for me at 4.30 , I took a taxi was there by 4.25 they rang at 4.26 apologizing saying due to the vender and we need to rearrange the view , they did it 4 minutes before the time , unprofessional bad people , rude manners who hand up and dont take complaint they just do what they do and to hell with clients
dont wast your time on wasters like them

Have been using Burchell Edwards at Castle Bromwich for a few years now.
Emily has been the best point of contact to date.

Very professional.
Good at liaising with tenants, for best outcome for both parties.

Another brilliant let
Thanks Emily 😀

Excellent service again from Emily and Tom. Very efficient and professional service, they are both very proactive with sourcing new tenants and keep me informed at all stages of the process. Always at the end of the telephone or will call me back if not available. Both Emily and Tom are very personable and approachable and I would not hesitate to use this service but especially Emily and Tom again,

Couldn’t of chose a better company to let out our property! Very professional! Emily dealt with our rental and she was lovely kept us up to date with everything and dealt with everything very professionally, as well as friendly! Tom also who helped out fab customer service. Again very friendly and professional!! I felt at ease with Emily handling our first ever home to rent out! She’s great, her team are great Thank you em x

I would like to say thank you and well done very much to Ms Emily Hogg, lady who is covering Burchells in Sheldon. I have never received excellent service until I work with Emily. I hope Emily stays🤞🏻

Thank you to Emma, Kelly and Amee. Fantastic service throughout my sales process and buying my new home. Great communication very professional would highly recommend 😁

Thanks to Amee and a team in Castle Bromwich branch. Very professional and helpful.

Absolutely disgusted.
Landlady refused to repair several dangerous problems. Left me and my 2yo without heat or hot water for 3 weeks in Jan-Feb.
Eventually forcing me out by raising rent 12% knowing I couldn’t afford the increase as I was 36 weeks pregnant then marketing it at 25% increase in the rent I was paying.

All because she had a leaking toilet replaced and decided she didn’t like it (after refusing to let them do it for 5 months) and I asked them to wait to replace the new one until after I had had the baby as I couldn’t go without a bathroom for another 4.5hrs.

Renters beware, they will protect landlords from any legal action you would be able to take against dangerous homes and sleazy landlords.

Who leaves a woman homeless at 38 weeks pregnant with a 3yo… that’s it, BURCHELLS

Thank you to Emily & Tom for all your hard work
Good communication, very professional

We recently rented out our property with Emily and Tom at Burchell Edwards, Castle Bromwich, fully managed. From the moment we contacted them, they were extremely professional and soon found great tenants without any hassle. Would highly recommend their services.

I tried to book viewing appointments and they never gave me an appointment but they were very much interested in trying to help me get a mortgage for “best deal”

Very bad experience as a tenant.
Take photos of everything to have your own inventory, be aware of any current problems and email them, and don't be afraid to use de DPS.

Utter liars. Told me my Halifax lending decision (off Halifax) wasn’t worth the paper it was written on?? Absolute jokers and worst agents around, avoid.

Be warned, for such a large company they are totally incompetent. Currently going through a GDPR complaint due to their lack of care. Seems to be a problem in lots of branches so obviously a company issue not just with the branch we dealt with.

This company is rubbish. Called for viewings on 2 properties only to be told by John in the Tamworth office that they are awaiting to confirm whether they are doing the viewings or the vendor themselves. After constant chasing, they booked the viewings nearly 2 weeks away to say that this is when they will be starting the viewings. I then found that the properties had been sold. Only to receive a phone call a few days later from John with his pathetic excuses and apologies.
I'd stay well clear of this company. They are liars and a waste of time!!!

Received Excellent service from Emily. Thomas was good as well.
