I have a Brita tap that after several years developed a leak due to perished 'O' rings.
I contacted BRITAcare and they were so helpful, providing me with everything to sort the problem.
My tap is now working fine again.
I can't praise them highly enough for their aftercare service.

Got in touch to obtain a spare part ro replace a broken lid on a water filter jug. After a registration process and a short waiting period, I got a free replacement sent as a good will gesture, despite the fact that warranty period was past. Great products, great service!

I contacted the team for some advice on a missing part, unfortunately it was passed the 30days to raise it with the shop I had purchased it at; they were extremely helpful & very quick at responding to my email. I look forward to receiving my missing part soon, so I can try out my new Brita, my gran swears by hers but I’ve not had one before

Brita jugs are wonderful and I feel they keep my water safe to drink. I know that they make the water softer because my kettle remains limescale free continuously. They are also easy to use, easy to change filters etc. Their customer service is also really efficient and they respond very promptly - couldn't be more helpful.

I recently bought a Brita Cube from an Amazon 3rd party seller. The product itself is fantastic but it arrived missing a tiny rubber foot which made it unstable on the worktop. The Amazon seller ignored my emails. Rather than return the entire unit I contact Brita directly and within 24 hrs they replied and are sending out the part to resolve the problem! Thanks Brita.

In October 2025, I purchased a Brita water filter (through a famous catalogue shop) which was selling at a premium price of £60.00.
Having been a long-standing customer of Brita, I did go ahead with the purchase, thinking that, although expensive, I probably would get a longer life out of it than the cheaper plastic one, and that I would, in a small way, contribute to reducing the use of plastic...
I was surprised, when I opened the box, to find a jug made of really really really thin glass.... obviously, I’d have to be extremely vigilant so as not to break it - it does not feel premium at all!!!
Then, comes November, and again in December, as I am washing the top part, the funnel, as is recommended by Brita, I discover shards of what I initially thought was glass but turned out to be plastic... I just could not understand where these were coming from, until I realised, the whole rim of the plasticfunnel, which sits on the glass jug, is breaking into little pieces.
I sent a message to Brita, explaining that - as a long time customer - I know how to use and clean the filter according to their recommendations, and have not done anything that could explain this deterioration. I suggested that the weird addition of a silicone seal around the filter is probably exerting too much force on the plastic and that there is a serious flaw in their product.
I received an initial email from their customer service telling me to give more details; thankfully I had registered my purchase on the Brita website, and I also took a few pictures and sent them on, explaining my suspicion that the seal was probably causing the issue (i.e: the stress too strong for a plastic that is too brittle!)
Next, I get a response from Maxine, telling me they have organised a replacement to be sent to me within 14 days and that I should remove the seal as it is not part of the product???....
We are now at the end of February and zilch replacement, nada.... I am not going to chase up, quite frankly, I think Brita has just lost its way.
Sadly, it is the second time in a few months that I experiece such disappointment from a brand I used to trust fully (the other being a vacuum cleaner brand).... In the past, I would have recommended Brita to everyone... but now, not only will I stop being their customer, but I will actively and publicly lament their current utter lack of respect for their customers....
From selling cheap, low quality products at premium price, not only was the jug flimsy and very obviously of a sub-par quality, but obviously to their demonstrable lack of interest in making sure that people who purchase their products are satisfied. As I said, I have bought Brita filters for over 10 (probably more like 25!) years and not had to complain once.... so I guess they should realise I am not one of those people trying to get something for nothing.
£60.00 for a water filter jug (the individual filters will be on top of that!) is no joke!
I am very very disappointed and would suggest to anyone contemplating buying a Brita filter to look around for alternative companies who are trying to treat their customers with a little more respect.

Follow up after Brita's response:
1) When a brand implies you are a liar: the suggestion that Brita has stringent testing procedures before putting an item on the market means nothing to me. I am telling you your product is not durable, the plastic used for the funel is brittle and breaks out into shards; I found those shards in the water inside the funnel so the breakage happened overnight, when I was not even touching the thing. The only purpose of such a statement is therefore to imply I am lying - Brita has tested and passed, therefore, customer feedback can't be based on truth!
2) Adding insult to injury: if you are so proud of the quality of your product, how come you have slashed the price by half??? When a brand produces a 'premium product', usually, they intend for us to fork out our money for as long as possible. The fact that the same pitcher is today being sold at £32.00, when you were selling it £60.00 only a couple of months ago tells me more than your non-answer.
3) Gaslighting customers is not customer service: if you had read my initial comment, you would have seen that I contacted your customer service - initially to raise your awareness of the problem with the funnel, I did not even ask for a refund or anything, it is one of your representatives who said they'd send a replacement. And you would also have seen that this had been said to me, unprompted, in January, and as, as of today I have not received anything. So, forgive me if I don't expect much help from customer service....

The electronic insert for my 'Mypure P1' tap suddenly stopped working. I confirmed that it wasn't a battery problem so I contacted Brita to enquire about purchasing a replacement. As my tap is around twelve years old now, an exact replacement is no longer available, but I was offered the newer version which I was assured would fit (it did - and it offers greater functionality). Given the age of the tap, I was very surprised - and delighted - to be told that there would be no charge for this. I can't think of many companies that offer such amazing support for their products!
