I recently had an introduction to the BrightHR platform with Holly, our Key Account Manager, and the experience was excellent. Holly provided a clear and informative overview of the system, taking the time to explain the key features and how they can support our HR processes.
The platform appears intuitive and user-friendly, with a range of tools that will help streamline people management, absence tracking, document storage, and employee communications. Holly was knowledgeable, approachable, and able to answer all of my questions confidently, ensuring I understood how to make the most of the platform from the outset.
Overall, a very positive introduction and a great first impression of both BrightHR and the support team behind it.

Subarna has been incredibly helpful, responsive and efficient. Whenever I have raised a query, correction or requested an amendment, she has been quick to respond and has taken the time to ensure that everything is addressed correctly. She has also been proactive in identifying areas requiring clarification, which has helped make what could have been a complicated integration process much easier to manage.
Her patience, professionalism and attention to detail have been particularly appreciated, especially when working through employee profiles, working patterns, permissions and spreadsheet updates.

I recently had to terminate my contract earlier than expected. They were very understanding of the situation, which I really appreciated. The customer service throughout the process was excellent. The team were professional, helpful, and made what could have been a stressful situation very straightforward. Incompetence is not the word!
I contacted BrightHR and spoke to one of their apparent experts. I wanted advise around SSP as I have an employee on a zero hours contract who went long term sick. I was told by her that I only needed to pay SSP for the days where he had work booked so that’s what I did.
Funnily enough, the employee sought advice and informed me that I should be paying 28 weeks of SSP and it is irrelevant if he is on a zero hours contact. Called BrightHr and got told yes that’s right. I queried why I had been told something different and this had now put my business at risk, was highly embarrassing and and the employees pay was now wrong so I needed further advice on how to sort the problem.
I was told the complaint was being raised as a matter of urgency and that payroll would contact me to talk me through how to sort the problem.
A week later, nothing! I’ve called them today to be told the complaints been closed. Sorry? How can the complaint be closed when I’ve had no update.
More fob offs, they are only interested in taking your money!
Welcome to BrightHr, an expert will be with you shortly is the holding statement on their line! Expert, yeah ok!
Go with a company who actually employees and trains people to give the correct advice. Don’t put your business at risk with this company.

Health check with my Account Manager
I’ve been really impressed with the support from my Account Manager, Dione Whalley, We recently completed my six-month health check, where she took the time to go through my usage stats, discuss new developments and really understand how I’m using the service.
What stood out most was how attentively Dione listened to my suggestions for further improvements and took my feedback seriously committing to take the ideas away and explore them.
A genuinely proactive, attentive and customer-focused Account Manager. Excellent service and a real pleasure to work with!
