Me suscribí en enero y cuando me quise dar de baja porque no me gustaba nada la calidad de los productos, no pude. Tuve que quedarme 3 meses más. Ahora estoy intentando cancelar mi suscripción y desde luego no lo ponen nada fácil. Es imposible contactar con ellos.
At first I was excited to subscribe to Birchbox because I would be getting samples every month. I was previously with another company and had a bad experience with a double account that I couldn’t cancel so that’s why I decided to try this. However, I am not very happy with the very small samples I get - and I mean samples - as in not full-size products, and most of them I don’t even care to use. Many of them are related to the hair and I don’t get many make up samples. After several months of this I just decided to stop the subscription. I feel for $16 a month I could buy two full sizes of something on Amazon and get free shipping and be happier then with five samples that don’t amount to much. I think the best thing about it is the pretty box.
Compré una cajita regalo para mi hermana, que es médico y está pasando unos tiempos malísimos con el coronavirus. Se la pedí el 2 de abril, ya que quería hacerle una sorpresa. Supuestamente, la caja llegaba en 3-5 días hábiles.
Ha pasado casi un mes y no solo no sé NADA de la cajita sino que el teléfono que tienen en la web no da señal, en las RRSS lo único que me dicen es que mande un email y por email nadie contesta... Llevo dos semanas escribiéndoles prácticamente un email diario y nadie me dice nada. Es súper frustrante haber pagado, esperar tener un detalle con mi hermana en estos momentos y que no solo no llegue sino no tener ninguna noticia de cuándo va a llegar.
Ni se te ocurra pedir. Si quieres un detalle que llegue seguro, usa Amazon.
FATAL. Es una estafa total pedí una cajita y por motivos personales tuve que cambiar la dirección de entrega que había puesto inicialmente ,después de confundirme mil veces diciendo que había sido entregado a la nueva dirección y siendo esto falso, finalmente fue entregado en la dirección primera en la cual no me encontraba y mi paquete fue entregado a no sé a quien por que en mi domicilio no lo cogió nadie , por que como le dije mil veces no había nadie. Pienso y creo que es muy coherente que un paquete tiene que ser entregado a su titular no a un ajeno al paquete. Ante esto no me dieron una solución, no volveré a comprar nada de ahí.
I've been a subscriber to Birchbox since almost the beginning, most recently as an annual subscriber. I even gifted subscriptions to others over the years. Early on, the samples were large travel sizes, with the ability to get 4 or 5 uses out of them and really try them. Most boxes had one great item (either a very large size or perhaps a beauty tool) and you received incentives for reviewing the products on their site.
The incentives were discontinued, then the great items started to diminish and now have stopped, and now all you get is a box with a handful of single use samples the likes of which the beauty stores give you for free to try an item.
Expressed my displeasure and got a tone deaf response that condescendingly explained that not everyone likes everything in every box. Guess they don't appreciate my years of support so I've canceled my subscription and signed up with a competitor.
I wish I can give zero star! I received 2 mascara samples in past 6 month. Both so dry I could not even use. Other samples also not worth to try. I wanted to cancel after 6 month subscription. There’s no option out selection on website. I emailed couple days ago. No respond they already charged for another month after my 6 month subscription without any notifications! Seems like it’s so complicated to cancel the subscription:(
They sell EXPIRED items, and when I request a return, their customer service never gets back to me. SAVE YOUR MONEY
Waste of money... tiny items which are uninspiring. I’ve had a better selection from a hotel. Also they edit/ don’t post negative reviews, which is super misleading! Cancelled after 2 months of rubbish, which the only useful item was a bag... the actual products caused breakouts and generally not more than one time use.
Products are decent however the customer is absolutely APPALLING!! Ordered two subscription boxes as the web page said my initial payment didn't go through. Since November I have been constantly chasing them for answers trying to return one of the boxes. Countless emails and phonecalls(not answered). Finally I managed to? return one of the boxes and since then have had literally no contact about when I will be receiving my refund. I've called and emailed to ask about a time frame and nothing in return. Maybe the UKs no. 1 beauty box can afford to hire some more customer service staff or at least train them better. You'd be best off spending your money elsewhere
I have been a member of Birchbox since July. In November my box was seriously late. I contacted the customer service department when I first did not receive my box. No one contacted me. They pulled the payment for December, but I still have note received the box and I'm still waiting on the January box. Even though I enjoy the products that are sent, their customer service is seriously lacking and I would never recommend this company for anyone to try.
It took over 20 days to receive some sort of email from a person. They refuse to cancel my subscription. I asked December 10th to cancel. I was charged for another box on January 1st. I finally received an email on January 2nd stating they were going to send me a box in February and then cancel. They said they sent me an email in July stating they were automatically renewing me for 6 months and if I didn’t cancel I’d be billed monthly. I didn’t see the email and this was during a time my spouse was very sick.I’ve tried to cancel but they refuse. They have no phone number to talk to someone and take weeks to respond. It’s horrible customer service. Please don’t subscribe to them.
This is my first time subscribing to a monthly box program. I work hard everyday and saw ads for Birchbox and decided to treat myself. I always look forward to receiving my box but I feel like I pay $15 monthly for a tiny little tube of something I can only use barely once. Sometimes the sample is so small, it's not even enough for one application. The boxes are beautiful. I really like the idea of getting a little treat every month, but although $15 doesn't seem like a lot to most, it is to me and I Don't want to feel like all I'm getting is a tiny mascara or a one time facial cleanser that contains barely enough to cleanse my face once! Battling with if I should renew my subscription.
Twice I have not received it my products. Once for my November box and they stated the would send me an extra box for January. The second time was an order I placed on Black Friday weekend.
This order was for Davines milk conditioner and a full box of Oribe products. I received my Oribe box right away but have not received my Davines and I am now on my third email to BB and only get an auto response back. No one is personally responding to me. VERY POOR
I like that the selection options have increased, and as someone who has lots of allergies, it's nice to be able to trade my box for points when the samples contain ingredients I can't use. The boxes are gorgeous, too!

Other than the shipping problem earlier I do have to commend you on the promptness in correcting the issues. I have enjoyed my subscription immensely. I have actually used some of the samples to try and get friends to subscribe. Each and every product has been great.
I love the treat of receiving the samples in the pretty box each month. The products are really good brands and are a convenient way to sample before purchasing a full size product. It has been especially helpful with moisturizer, eye creams, and hair products. The boxes are the “icing on the cake” and make the samples that much better.
Bircbox is so much fun every month! It has introduced me to many, many brands and products I would never purchase full size without having tried first. I've been turned on to brands with products that are now my favourite, which I have purchased full-size. If you're interested in beauty products at all I highly recommend using Birchbox to try new things and find your new favorites!

Everytime I get my Birchbox feels like Christmas! I love the quality of all the samples and frequently purchase full size products as a result. Birchbox is a guilty pleasure that keeps giving <3
