Best decision to view Dubai
We decided to buy Classic Ticket + Aquaventure combined ticket. Visited Aquaventure for a whole day and used hop-on, hop-off tour ticket nex day without problems.

Disappointing Overall
Unmarked Bus stops ,with no shade .The App inaccurate. Not enough buses with Air con upstairs when it was 95 degrees We bought a 5 day pass but only used it for 3 days

The bus experience is a must.
The bus experience is brilliant. So easy to move around. The tour guide on the Red Route was absolutely brilliant. Divine by name and Divine as a guide giving us much information in a light humorous way.

In person guide available. Drivers and guides were extremely friendly.
Scanning systems were not functioning properly. Because of the high temperature all the busses should have A/C also on the top deck.
The service improved compared to my last trip four years ago.

Good tour once we found first stop!
Struggled to find the stop at JBR/ the beach at the start of our tour once we found it the tours were a great way to see the city, be prepared to wait between routes down times 20/30 mins of your planning a full day.
Only other issue we had was locating the Marina tour it’s not stop 19 as the app says!!!
Overall a great couple of days

Disappointed
Drivers and local ground staff were very helpful and welcoming. ( 5 star) VERY DISAPPOINTED In Marine boat tour: NO NARRATION! Wanted to see the mosque but didnt realize the mosque i photographed was THE ONE i wanted to visit ( til today, a Sunday) and it is closed. Advertised LIVE tour guides, 2 days and a nite all recorded narration. Have always used Hop-on-hop-off in past. Will use them again instead of Bug Bus.

We are very satisfied, we decided very well to choose the big bus deluxe ticket. we bought the ticket online from home even cheaper. great service, lots of extra facilities (evening sightseeing, aquarium, boat excursion, museum, etc.) are included to save even more. (each extra program would have been € 70-100 for us). at the stops, willing young people helped with orientation.

Wir hatten bei 10 Tagen ......
Wir hatten bei 10 Tagen Aufenthalt das 7 Tage BigBus Ticket mit den erweiterten Attraktionen. Haben einiges genutzt, so dass sich der höhere Preis für uns gelohnt hat. Die Touren sind etwas zäh aber im klimatisierten Bus auszuhalten. Schön ist die Nachttour. Gut wäre es wenn die Busse 2-3 Minuten Fotostopps machen würden. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wer lediglich von A nach B kommen möchte ist aber mit der Metro besser bedient. Dort aber wiederum lange Weg innerhalb bzw. ausserhalb um an die Attraktionen zu kommen.

Don't waste your money!!!!
My family and I went to Dubai recently. We stayed at a hotel that upgraded us. When we moved rooms our bus ticket got misplaced but we were told by one of the big bus drivers that it would be okay as we had the receipt on our phone. Well that was not the case!! The big bus tours wanted to charge us all over again either though we had the proof that we had purchased the tickets on our phone. We spoke to the Manager who would not give us any replacement tickets. We paid a total of over 300.00 pounds and we used the bus twice even though we had a five day pass. My Sister and I was then charged to go into the lost chambers even though we had already paid for it. Absolutely disgusting. Would not recommend!!

We got the classic day ticket and chose…
We got the classic day ticket and chose the red route as this one has live commentary. Couldn't really fault any of it. The bus was clean, on time and the tour guide very entertaining/informative. It was extremely hot in August on the top deck so would recommend sitting downstairs in the Aircon (if you can nab a seat). We got off at the meseum, which was excellent if you're interested in the history of Dubai and went on the creek cruise ( both included in the ticket). Both places had Aircon which was very much needed. We didn't go around any of the souks mainly because it was just too hot in the day (40+C). We also didn't do the night tour ( also included) as it would have just been the same tour but at night. Definitely a good way to see and learn more about Dubai. Would recommend.
