Ramona refused to bring cheques to handover as she collected from new tenant and holding it with her. She is fully booked and can’t deliver cheques. We have dealt with #betterhomes as their reputation but this was disappointing.

I contracted Betterhomes as the property manager for my Dubai apartment in 2022, and my experience with them over the past few years has been consistently positive. They have strong market knowledge and always provide an accurate and realistic appraisal of rental value. Their tenant vetting process is thorough, and they only bring clients who are reliable and capable of meeting their financial commitments.

Betterhomes handles all contractual matters professionally and manages tenant maintenance requests efficiently, always seeking my approval before undertaking any work. Rental collections and transfers are timely, which gives peace of mind when managing a property from abroad.

Their property supervisors are experienced and well-qualified. In particular, I would like to acknowledge Donald Macharia Mwangi, who has been supervising my property for the past year. He has always been responsive, professional, and helpful.

Overall, Betterhomes is a trustworthy and dependable company, ideal for owners who need their property looked after while they are not in Dubai.

One area of improvement could be further investment in technology — for example, a mobile app that allows owners to view property updates, rental payments, maintenance expenses, and communications in one place. This would add even more transparency and convenience.

I would like to share my appreciation for Ms. Vijaya, Team Leader at Betterhomes, who has been extremely supportive during my recent move-out from CBD-F03, Flat 304.

She demonstrated professionalism, dedication, and excellent communication throughout the process. Vijaya handled everything smoothly, kept me updated at each stage, and ensured the entire move-out was stress-free and well managed.

Her leadership qualities, problem-solving approach, and commitment to customer satisfaction really stood out. It’s rare to come across someone so efficient and approachable at the same time.

I truly value her efforts and would highly recommend Betterhomes because of employees like her. She definitely deserves recognition and future career growth for the great work she is doing.

I’m really disappointed with Betterhomes. They keep changing things: new management, new case managers, new procedures. But I never get any notice or time to adjust, no proper transition period to deal with these changes. They just repeat that “this is the new way”, but that doesn’t change the agreements we already had. Cheques have gone missing, procedures suddenly switch without warning, and instead of offering solutions they put it all back on me. It’s stressful, frustrating, and not what I expected from a company like this..

Thanks for your reply, but I do need to clarify a few things.
You mention “frequent transitions and new procedures,” but that doesn’t excuse ignoring agreements that were already in place. I’ve been renting this unit through Betterhomes for more than 1.5 years, under your management the whole time. So to say this is “new under management” simply isn’t true.

You also ask again for property details, but I’ve already shared these several times with different case managers. The real issue is not missing info from me, but the lack of consistency on your side. Each email brought a different version of the rules, which left me without clarity.

What I also find strange is that only after posting this review my PA suddenly got a call, and I received a whatsapp message from the new case manager Reagean. The tone was completely different from the first emails and whatsapp messages. It feels unprofessional that it takes a negative review before Betterhomes shows a cooperative and respectful attitude.

All I expected was respect for the agreements, clear communication, and fair treatment from the start, not only once a review goes public.
