Less than 100euros for 3 days,
It took us 10min(each) to take and to give back the car.
We received a free upgrade for a small SUV, it was really nice.

Our hotel recommended them & they dropped the car off at the hotel which was an incredible facility.

Terrible service in Milos - took my business elsewhere!
Terrible service! Prebooked a car and pick up time at the Pollonia office in Milos. I arrived at the office 45 mins later than the pick up time which I thought would be fine as I'd already checked and the office was advertising as being open all morning. Got there and the office was empty. After 15 minutes someone came along, said hello and then proceeded to serve a couple waiting behind us in the queue. We had talked to them and they had a ferry to catch so we were happy with that. But then the agent just got in a car and drove off without a word to us. I called the general number and was told she'd be back in 5 minutes. 35 minutes later she finally reappeared by which time I was pretty angry. She refused to apologies and wouldn't offer any discount for the experience. I asked to speak to her boss who was exactly the same. Not contrition, zero acknowledgement of poor service, no apology, no discount. I went elsewhere to Tourlakis Rent A Car where they were super helpful and I got an equaivalent rental for €60 less! I would definitley advise avoiding Avance and going local!

I’ve hired cars many times before…
I’ve hired cars many times before however this was the first time I have decided to hire a car whilst actually on holiday. Avance was by far the best value and the range of cars was really significant. Price was the most competitive and if I’m honest that was my main reason for booking, however when I turned up at the store it was extremely professional and the range of cars and quality was better than all other providers in the nearby area. The service was fantastic the guide to all uses of the car was fantastic and the return was seamless. Cannot recommend this company enough. Brilliant !

Worst car I've ever driven. Using the direction indicators, turn the lights off. Very nasty experience on roads without street lights.

Κάναμε κράτηση ενοικίασης μέσω ίντερνετ για ένα αυτόματο αυτοκίνητο για τις διακοπές μας! Η avance ήταν η πιο φθηνή εταιρεία με την πιο σωστή εξυπηρέτηση. Το αμάξι που μας παρέδωσαν άψογο και η εξυπηρέτηση που λάβαμε τόσο μέσω τηλεφωνικής επικοινωνίας όσο και από τους εργαζόμενους στο παράρτημα του αεροδρομίου της Θεσσαλονίκης ήταν παραδειγματική. Άμεση και σωστή εξυπηρέτηση, απόλυτα επαγγελματίες!

Ich hatte das Mietauto über American…
Ich hatte das Mietauto über American Express Platincard gebucht! Vorort wurde diese Karte nicht angenommen,unter dem Vorwand die Karte funktioniert nich.Nach Rücksprache mit Amex war die Karte ok nur diese Firma nimmt diese Karte nicht!!!!! Ich fotographierte jede Delle und jeden Kratzer am Auto und es waren mehr als 20 davon. Bei der Rückgabe am Flughafen in Kalamata wurden Fotos des Mitarbeiters der Firma Avance durchgeführt und ich signierte die Rückgabe. Das Mail der Firma kam 2 Tage später an, mit Schadenforferung von € 500!!!! Mit Fotos der Schäden. Ich schickte meine Fotos dieser Schäden, die ich bei Übernahme dokumentiert hatte zurück,vom I-phone dokumentiert mit Datum der Übernahme mit dem Komentsr diese Firma soll sich ihr Geld nicht mit Betrug verdienen!!!!! Ich werde auf meine Kartenabrechnung über Visa warten, die ich hinterlegen mußte und falls Forderungen kommen rechtliche Schritte einleiten! Ich rate Jedem ab über diese Firma ein Mietauto zu buchen!!!!!!!!!

Bad!
Bad!! People are not helpful. Because my name on creditcard was different than on drivinglicence (married) we can not hire the car. They did not want to change this or do anything to solve the problem. After the night flight it was not a very good beginning of our holliday. And we still want our deposit back.

NOT HAPPY!
Rented a car for 5 days, the car had issues with changing gears, had no power going up a slight hill & was rolling back. Expensive rate per day for what we were given. After complaining we were given another car which ran smoothly for a day & then out of the blue, the air-conditioning stopped working in 30 degree heat! Not satisfied with their cars, they are obviously not serviced or checked on before handing over to customer. Staff were very lay back & don't take their job seriously! Will not be using them again!

Upon your delivery, the vehicle was delivered to you on July 28, 2022, 10:27 am., according to the time of your arrival at the store. You stayed a little bit longer at the station, as you wanted the colleagues to give you some information about the island and recommend various locations. Your scheduled return was for July 31, 10:00. The station manager called you, as you had not shown up at your scheduled return time and had not informed the station accordingly of any delay. In the phone call, you informed the station that you were on your way to return the vehicle and would be at the store in a few minutes. As you still did not show up as you had informed by phone, the station repeatedly called you again, but you never answered, until you showed up at the station at 12:28. Consequently, you were about 2.5 hours late from your scheduled return, without notifying the station. Causing disruption, as there were other customers to be served, resulting in a delay to subsequent customers. On your return, it was determined by the station that you were at sea, as the seats were wet, and the vehicle needed biological cleaning.
While your colleague mentioned that the seats were wet and the vehicle needed biological cleaning, you told her that it was nothing and that it was her job to clean the car. I would like to inform you that it is not her job to clean the vehicles, but to serve you by providing you a vehicle for rent in the best possible and polite way. But it is your obligation, just like any customer, to return the vehicle, if not in the same condition as when you received it, at least in a similar condition.
Also, upon entering the station you placed your shoes on the desk counter, where the station manager told you to take them off the desk. Employees and customers lean on the desk, and it is not the place for shoes. Therefore, we do not understand your comments about the station's behavior and rude manners, as they were in no way inappropriate in your way. The station proceeded with the corresponding charge, pending on your part, as it should have been.

RUN! Worst company everrrr. The turn in of the car was like a high-jacking. Knowing we had a ferry to catch they charged an extra day and threatened with police if we did not pay. Thank GOODNESS for American Express flagging the charge for dispute before the charge was even made. Shod be called Paros Pirate Car Rental!

We do not particularly understand your negative review as according to your signed contract you picked up the vehicle at 13:15 and returned it at 16:30. Your return was scheduled for the office in the port of Paros at 13:00, but you never went at 13:00. You have the possibility to delay half an hour from the vehicle delivery time, as long as your return time is scheduled to be the same as the delivery time.
So we do not believe that we are considered the worst company, as long as we request what is foreseen and what we are entitled to, since you were late, without informing anyone from our company.

Very bad service - watch out they want to rip you off
Very bad service, the women in the office totally forgot to take our payment for the rental on collection so pushed through the transfer without our consent.
Same women then forced us to pay 99 euros for a small amount of sand in car on return, she was rude and aggressive. It wasn’t a stain in the car and the sand could easily be hoovered up in the turn around process rental cars go through and have never had an issue before with other companies on this very sandy island.
We wouldn’t recommend this company, don’t believe what they say on pickup and be aware they are looking to rip off customers, not look after them with some of the worst customer service we’ve exprinced

We don't particularly understand your comments about payment, as the respective rental is always pre-paid.
On your return, the vehicle was not returned in the same or similar condition as you received it, as it needed biological cleaning. Under no circumstances would the station of Heraklion proceed with an additional charge to the customer if it did not exist. You will need to understand that the next customer needed and had to receive the vehicle in the same condition that you received it.
We are sorry if we did not fully satisfy you with our services, as under no circumstances we wish to have dissatisfied customers. We hope to serve you again in the future so that we can fully meet your requirements.
