The gentleman that I spoke to Michael, made me feel at ease to express myself.
I was given a diagnosis almost immediately.
I was advised that I would receive prescription tablets via the post.
Nothing!!!
So in Shortt I paid £750 for 28 minute chat. More fool me.

Frustrating experience which left me feeling very let down. I booked an appointment which was cancelled by the consultant via a brief and somewhat garbled phone call a couple of hours before it was due to take place. I understand that these things happen, but the same thing happened again with the rearranged appointment the following week. The consultant didn't offer any explanation for the second short notice cancellation and in the end I decided to get my money back (over £800 paid upfront for a video consultation) as I was not willing to discuss my health with someone I felt let down and irritated by. Although the team at Augmentive were helpful and apologetic, the consultant made no attempt to get in touch to apologise for inconveniencing me on two occasions. As part of the onboarding process I had to disclose some personal information which I found challenging and I was very anxious about seeking help in the first place. It had taken me a very long time to take the decision to try to get a diagnosis and to be treated so carelessly was a real blow and it continues to play on my mind several weeks after the event. I am surprised that the consultant didn't bother to get in touch after cancelling twice in short order (he left it to his secretary on the second occasion), particularly as he must have some insight on the affect that this poor treatment could have on someone seeking a diagnosis as an adult. The absence of follow up from anyone at Augmentive feels neglectful, but ultimately it is just an online portal (and a glitchy one at that) for making appointments with private doctors and not anything more sophisticated than that.

Dr. Khurram Sadiq is an exceptional psychiatrist and I am incredibly grateful for his expertise and support. Being diagnosed with AuDHD (autism and ADHD) as an adult was a huge step for me, and Dr. Sadiq made the entire process feel validating, insightful and empowering.

During the initial consultation, he was kind, patient and genuinely invested in understanding my experiences. He took the time to explain my diagnosis thoroughly, helping me make sense of things I had struggled with for years. His approach is thoughtful and compassionate, ensuring that I felt heard and respected every step of the way.

The efficiency of his process and communication through the app is also outstanding. After my assessment on Friday, my prescription was ready by early Monday morning, only slightly delayed because I needed to submit a blood pressure reading on Saturday. The prescription ordering process was so simple and the medication delivered the next day. Everything was handled with professionalism and care, making what could have been an overwhelming experience smooth and stress-free.

I finally feel like I have the understanding and tools to navigate life in a way that works for me. I cannot recommend Dr. Khurram highly enough and his knowledge, empathy and dedication make all the difference.

Essential support when I needed it most.
After being terribly treated by the NHS Adult mental health team. I needed to urgently see a psychiatrist and was able to get an appointment within a few days. I felt seen, heard and understood and together we worked out a medication plan that worked for me. Costly service, but recommended for anyone who really needs it.

As a psychotherapist listed on Augmentive, I have found the platform highly professional and incredibly easy to use. Their emphasis on seeing people as unique individuals and fostering genuine connections aligns perfectly with my own values. She took her time to listen and explain things to me when she could have just done the bare minimum to get the job done.

Dr. Eappen was supportive and approachable, making the whole process more comfortable. She had a good measure of my lived experiences as a female with ADHD. She was informative and very professional. I was concerned that the female presentation of ADHD would not be understood, due to the nature of how questionnaires are constructed, but I felt very understood by Dr. Eappen.

Dr Sandhya Eappen was incredible. I’ve had such a horrible experience with the NHS recently and was starting to give up hope. I managed to find this service and even though it’s private and comes with a cost it was well worth it. Within the initial appointment treatment was initiated and a forward plan was put in place. This morning I didn’t have any hope of feeling better but following the appointment I feel that I can now get better and live a normal life once the treatment works. 10/10 would massively recommend this service.
