I had a very positive experience with Augmentive. Like many people, I had been struggling to make progress through the NHS route, so I decided to pursue a private diagnosis. From getting started to having my assessment meeting and diagnosis review took only a couple of days, which was incredibly helpful.

The process itself was straightforward. There were some questionnaires to complete beforehand, including input from someone who knows you well, and then the assessment meeting itself was clear and well structured. The outcome gave me a much better understanding of myself and what has been going on for years.

Since then I’ve worked with more than one member of the psychiatry team and have also been supported by Natasha, the ADHD nurse, who has been excellent – knowledgeable, approachable and very easy to talk to. She made what could have been a stressful process feel much more manageable.

Whenever I’ve had questions, both the clinical and admin teams have been responsive and helpful. Overall it feels like a really well-run service and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Augmentive to anyone who is able to pursue a private ADHD assessment.

Really grateful to Dr J Iyiola for his support. He was incredibly professional but still warm and made me feel at ease throughout the assessment. Would most definitely recommend him to anyone wanting to investigate whether they may need a diagnosis.

Dr Sawhney was compassionate and kind during the assessment. After the diagnosis she explained the non pharmacological and pharmacological treatments. Time has been given to make a decision regarding treatments.

I saw Dr Inder Sawhney for my ADHD assessment and she was excellent from start to finish. She was calm, warm, professional, and made what could have been quite a daunting appointment feel straightforward and manageable. She listened carefully, asked thoughtful questions, explained things clearly, and never made me feel rushed or judged. Most importantly, she made me feel completely at ease throughout. I left the appointment feeling understood, supported, and confident in the plan going forward. I would highly recommend her. I had Dr. Natascha for a follow up titration appointment and she was especially good at talking about medicating ADHD around the menstrual cycle. I would recommend her for female clients!
