Great product and customer service
I bought my first unit 20 years ago and rather than replace all the filters I thought I would just get a complete new system because it was not a lot more. I figured the technology had to have improved in the last 20 years and I got all new hoses and fittings and faucet, etc. Your staff was just as helpful today as they were then. Love the product and the people. If I lived near there, I would get a job at a APEC.

Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service, not helpful. Said they would have their special tech support get in touch with me. Did not. They have quality product but basically you need to be a plumber to manage it because their products have zero color code or labels. It would be a simple thing to do but for whatever reason they prefer to let customers operate blind. We ended up having cross cold/hot flow trying to follow their instructions and had to call a plumber to fix it. There customer support was not helpful.

All was not good!
All was good!! Until a crack in the third cylinder cap! Did not know it was leaking until the water was all over my wood floors. And also destroyed the cabinet floor.
Then i had to pay for new caps.
After having to pay for more new cylinders bc. We did not know where leak was coming from. Plumber costs for 2 visits etc…. Was crack an apparent problem APEC has had??

Since we were unable to obtain an invoice copy for the purchase, we cannot confirm whether the unit is still under warranty. Customer Service does not listen.
I have a countertop unit and ordered a stage 4 filter which is a coconut shell carbon filter. I received a stage 2 sediment filter. I emailed customer service and got an AI bot response telling me the shipment was made successfully and to send pictures of the box and contents. I sent pictures of that along with what I have on hand so they wouldn't think I was pulling a fast one and a picture of what I ordered on line. Both of the mentioned filters have the same part number and I was told they are to be used interchangeably. Not so. All the documents and manual that I have plainly show they are different and go in different locations on the unit. Also they serve entirely different purposes. However, the reps will not hear me when I say they sent me a filter I did not order. They will NOT admit to a mistake. They have NOT given me return instructions. This has gone on and on and on. I finally went to Walmart to purchase the filter I need so my unit works properly. I will NOT go to APEC for filters ever again. I can get them at Home
Depot, Walmart...anywhere but from them. Their customer service leaves much to be desired in the way they treated me. I CAN read. The stage 4 filter on my unit plainly states 'coconut shell carbon' and NOT 'sediment' which they sent. They are NOT interchangeable. Lazy! Beware!
Did you notice their answer? Didn't address the issue and haven't at all worried about satisfaction for the customer and STILL have not issued a return number so I can send this incorrect item back to them. Lip service.
Well, I finally received an email after countless back and forth messages saying I would be credited for the filter. However, this was after emailing them their return policy and that I would be informing the Attorney General, their corporate office and my credit card company of my experience, including that they would NOT send me an RA number, AND they stated the credit was for the 'carbon' filter, not the 'sediment' filter I received. They will NOT admit a mistake which is very scary for customers should they have a problem. Again, beware.

Excellent tasting water with a smile!!…
The customer service department seemed to understand the issue I was having with my RO water filtration system and suggested a solution. The solution he suggested did take care of the problem and now our system is working again. His services were excellent!
I love my APEC system that I have had for 7 years and use every day for clean excellent tasting drinking water.
I am in the midst of building a new home and will definitely be including an APEC system in that home also.

I've got unit with factory damage…
I've got unit with factory damage (leak). I called to customer service for replacement leaking part and then had long emails conversations to proof the damage. CSvs gave me different recommendations to fix leak by myself. Finally they mailed detail. I've called plumber 2 times and payed him extra charges for visits.
