STAY AWAY FROM APEC - THEIR FILTERS ARE OUT OF STOCK!!!
I bought an APEC Water ROTL-A1000 tankless RO on March 29th, 2026. There are 3 filters in it, # 1, 2, and 3. APEC has been out of stock on filter #1 and #2 for months and months with no end in sight, and time has finally come that filter #1 has gone bad. I have called them several times, and I keep getting the run-around from APEC. They give me dates the filters will become available, tell me to sign up for email notifications which I've already done, and when I get the e-mail they are available they sell out before I can even place the order! There are people scalping the filters on Ebay and Amazon because they know they are out of stock, so I believe either one or multiple entities are buying all the stock of these filters, leaving customers like me without a way to purchase them. I can't understand how APEC, with a reputation such as theirs, can be so out of stock on filters, that their customers can't order them. This is an unacceptable situation for which there is no end in sight, and they have done nothing to help me. If you e-mail them, you get responses from AI instead of a real human, which is complete nonsense!!!

Very happy with my RO system
I bought my RO system over five years ago. Since then I only done regular maintenance to it. Changing filters and replaced the storage tank. It makes very good drinking water and for cooking too. It's very easy to maintain, and when I spoke with the service dept. they were very helpful on what needs to be done to keep it working at it's best. Also like the idea that not buying all that bottled water saves on the plastic waste and money.

Works better than I expected …
Excellent service and helpful over the phone. Also, customer service knows your previous purchase and what you need to change such as the water filters however they should need to provide accessories like rubber rings for the chamber filters aster replacement the old ones.

Instale mi primer reverse osmosis system mas o menos hace 30 años he probados por lo menos 5 sistemas de filtracion ro de diferentes marcas, pero cuando probe este sistema de filtracion de ro me gusto mucho, el sabor del agua la calidad de filtracion 25 tds y a veces mas bajo de lectura y ademas el mantenimiento de los filtros ha sido el mas economico de todos los que habia adquirido anteriormente por esta razon le doy 5 estrellas yo lo recomiendo segun mi experiencia en sistemas de filtracion ro mi sistema es el ROES100 ESSENSE
