Good response to replacement filter cartridge request.
Quality control or shipping, packing and handling could be contributors creating that need, but I certainly appreciate the fast response for the broken cartridge that was delivered originally

AI customer service and human customer service both miserable
Their AI system identified and sent the wrong filter and when I told them about it, they wanted me to pay to ship it back. They still haven't told me what size filter replacement I actually need.

Regarding the replacement filter inquiry, the WHCC7-35-DTF Wide Spectrum + Pro Upgrade Whole House Water Filter is a discontinued CuZn product and was not part of APEC's product line. As a result, we are unable to verify its original specifications or provide a direct replacement recommendation.
For whole-house sediment filters, we carry a 4.5" x 10", 30-micron Whole House Reusable & Pleated Sediment Filter (FI-SED10-BB), which can be found using the link provided below, as well as a larger 4.5" x 20" version.

Very unhappy
Very unhappy. Where do I begin. Everything went wrong. Bought Essence 6 stage RO online from Home Depot as it was the quickest options. Found out after the fact that Essence has a reputation for leaking as the manufacturing dept is cheap and failed build enough tape around the ball bearing. Just wanted better water. It's been a nightmare as the tank continues to leak. Almost a month. The bearing on the top of the tank leaks. I put a claim in by a manager of CS and the claims department refuses to reimburse by plumbing invoices that were basically promised by a manager in CS and were denied. NO ONE CARES....

The filter broke within one year of…
The filter broke within one year of purchase. And customer service seems like keeping on asking us to do more work instead of helping to fix it. And after several months of back and forth, it worked for less than a week. And now they want us to go back to redo all the steps to diagnose after we’ve been through all this. I needed it for my baby and now my baby is already one month old. And still not working. And they don’t care. The hours they spend on the technician trying to diagnose for us, they could already give us a new system. I don’t know what they are after.

Purchase arrived quickly & as always…
Purchase arrived quickly & as always (this is our 3rd APEC system) the water is amazing/tastes great. This is the first purchase with UV as part of the application - would be nice if the UV switched on as the water was drawn as the water is hot since the UV bulb is constantly on - we have to run 24-32oz to clear the hot water from the system.
