I had to call every day for over a week…
I had to call every day for over a week to see if a product was back in stock. Every agent I spoke to told me the product would be back in stock “tomorrow”.
It never happened and I never relieved an email informing me the filter replacement was back in stock. I just had to spend time every day checking the stock online and it finally came back in stock.
If you rely on these for clean water, the reliability of products being available is fragile and scary. Customer service is completely lacking.

Make sure if you change your filter and…
Make sure if you change your filter and it’s defective that you take pictures and you will have to send them in in order to prove to them that your part is defective. I had to wait an extra five days longer for my water filter to be working they had to send me new ones. I would have preferred them to trust me and I would’ve sent back the part. I understand it’s not cost-effective however you gotta trust your people.

Excellent tasting water
Installation went according to the instructions. I was shocked at the time it took to optimize the filter for use but it was right in line with the instructions. The water is great. Prior to this system the well water was still bad tasting and smelling even after our two stage filter. Now we have excellent water without having to purchase and haul it home.

Unfortunately I was sold a defective…
Unfortunately I was sold a defective filter canister. It was cracked around the top circumference. It was easy to miss and I spent months with leaks that I could not figure out. Even then I assumed it was an O-ring. So not very happy. You would think they would do better quality assurance testing prior to release.

I called and spoke to someone and they…
I called and spoke to someone and they advised me the part number I would need. My filter lid had a hole in it leaking water everywhere. They advised me that the parts had been discontinued and an upgraded part was needed. When the new lid can in they would not close, I also had to buy the housing for the filter. Just wish I would have been told I needed both to start with.

Poor customer service
Hoses broke on unit and soaked kitchon and part of dining room floors. Parts not listed on website. Emailed two times No response. After four days. Calked. Callback took over an hour. Talked to gal who said she would have to talk to her supervisor before she could send me bill Next day I get bill for $20 Said then parts would be sent out soon And mail would be sent when it was sent. I sent email asking for photo of parts to see if correct. Was told no photos as it is not listed in parts on website So overall very unhappy with customer service Water dies taste very good. But some of worst Customer service.

Lame AI customer service, telephone support unhelpful
One of my filter housings cracked, tried to buy replacement parts but their email support just gets responded with an AI chat bot. Eventually a human responded and pointed me to the correct replacement parts, unfortunately they wanted $150+ for shipping items that can easily be shipped for less than $30 with USPS. They offered to ship free to a family member in the continental US but it's been over two months and the items on the invoice I received have never been in stock simultaneously so it is impossible to purchase. Person i talked to on the phone was unhelpful and just tried to sell me a whole new system for $250+ dollars. Ended up just buying the parts from ifilters.com and probably wouldnt buy from apec in the future knowing any support issues for Hawaii customers will not be resolved.

As outlined in our shipping and returns policy, free shipping on orders of $49 or more is available only within the 48 contiguous U.S. states. We also provided a discounted option for the replacement parts as a courtesy.
While inventory levels can fluctuate, the replacement parts were not out of stock for the entire two-month period. We continually work to restock products as quickly as possible to minimize delays.

I had a filter housings failure that leaked under the sink, and the great customer service sent me a replacement unit and it’s great to have our unit back installed and giving us clean great tasting water.
